My family always upsets me, just cause I'm different. But I dont really care inless it inolves my love of anime/manga then im totally pissed.
It is stupid D<
And it is slow, which is good cause I'm reading fanfics XD

The other day my dad started talking about how I'm too old for anime and that I need to stop watching it and my mom yelled at him for me. ^^ She actually stood up for me saying that there were plenty of adults who watch it and that alot of anime is made specifically for adults.

Oh yeah.
I'm always pissed off at people who say they don't like anime/manga from an artistic standpoint. "That's not art," and the like.
It's more detailed then ANY cartoon out there, even the ones that just use chibis; there are as many artistic choices in screen transitions, in color palettes, in scripting, in symbolism, as there are in any movie or other television show; more often than not the shadows and lighting are incredible, and if the musical score was chosen right you can have something as masterful as any piece in the Louvre.
I mean some of them are simple and really designed just to appeal to people and sell, but so's Andy Warhol's s**t so there. =~=

I have strong feelings about that. Some anime/manga I could care less whether you call 'em art or crap.
Ones I say are MORE artistic than a lot of television shows:
