Lady Blodwynn The Ares is an unofficial entry, no way would GW create a DA only Apocalypse vehicle. There's already a LR variant down the pipe that comes with all the parts for the LR, Crusader and the Redeemer. p.s. Plastic Thunderhawk! gonk
*wets self* Hoh yesh...my chaos force shall enjoy that stuff.

Which means watch out for the well off little kids. Because you know they'll either be packing Space Marines or Tau.

I've preordered the new rule book, and I must say that I've heard some rumors that have been going around for awhile about the new changes to the Marines that mildly scare me. First off, removal of traits for having a specific commander with a specific trait that'll alter the entire army. Second, landspeeder transport kinda like the French guy's Sirrocco pattern (which is awesome looking. Imagine a cross between the warthog transport from Halo III, and slap a land speeder front and tail section onto it.) Third, the fabled, rumored, venerated, drooled over. and highly anticipated Space Marine Medium Tankus might finally make its debut, like the last time, and the last time, and the last time.......and yeah. What do you guys think if there was a tank to be kinda one step below the mighty Land Raider, but far superior to the amazing Pred? Some say that much like how the combi-bolter and the Reaper Autocannon went by the wayside, the Predator might be delegated to CSM, while the marines get this fabled STC pattern tank. I hope not, cause I don't feel like droppin the bucks to buy a new tank that will only be marginally worse than the Land Raider.

The FW 'Hawk is 17"/440mm wide and 19"/480mm long. GW might make it a little bigger because you know, everything FW does GW has to do better (see: Baneblade) @ The Hoss: You really are out of the loop on marine rumours! Try reading back a page or two on the new stuff.

Lady Blodwynn Whats an "Ayame"? I've just heard that Marines will arrive around August, Black Reach around October, Space Wolves around December and that Summer next year will see the release of a plastic Thunderhawk kit. This been confirmed by a GW employee. an "ayame" is an android that the Crimson Guardians created after they found her on a huge battle field, the only reason they did this is because she was the key to over throw a chaos infestation but somereason she's hitting on ryoto and then he doesn't give a rats a** razz

GW keeps making these announcements about making their models bigger and bigger. First it was the current Land Raider, then the Monolith. Then the Mûmakil which GW proclaimed was a Monolith on top of a Land Raider, then the Baneblade and soon the Thunderhawk.

It does so whenever little Japanophiles get their hands on the game. I'll admit it, I like a few manga, but they're sufficiently kick a** to beat down anything.
Seriously.
As far as your fluff goes, though, there really are no androids outside of Tau Drones. Even then, they can't control themselves. The closest thing would be a Servitor, but they've been lobotomized so they have no free will.

hahaha! I've come to realize that I'm really out of the loop on space marine rumors smile Oh well. One question I've always had though...could a marine procreate and have a family? I've been told no since the geneseed and the black carapace would prevent any and all kinds of reproduction. Some say that the augments would make a marine sterile, and others say that the child wouldn't survive birth with out immediate geneseed implants. I can also assume since their primary duty(other than my beloved DA) is to fight for the Imperium and spread the Emporer's light, they wouldn't have time. Whatcha think? question

That you need some Adderol or maybe Ritalin. Marines cannot procreate, cut and dried. For one, they are technically no longer human genetically, so they'd have to find women that had gone through the same kind of genetic augmentation. So, from the view of science of our modern day, Marines could not procreate from the base perspective that there are no women for them to ********>

Honestly, I like that they're making things bigger. The infantry and whatnot are roughly 1:35 scale, while the vehicles are about 1:48? That seems a tad odd. I'd prefer that the transports are big enough to fit the infantry in them, personally.

I think the problem that might be on the tanks is that then the things would just be too bloody large.
