Well, not to quote Donald Trump, but I do declare: "So much winning!!"

Congratulations!!!

I like your GIFs.

I've gotta give you a big thank you for being so supportive~
I feel silly getting giddy over little stuff, but I'm just so stupid excited to be feeling better, haha~
And glad you enjoy my GIF choices!
Giphy is a hell of a thing. I've even used it to find simple exercises to do that don't require any equipment or much space.
My beau's mum gifted me a spare yoga mat and a beginners' DVD after I expressed interest in using yoga to try and help me along my way through recovering, so I'll be starting to put that in my daily routine here soon, tomorrow, probably.

Lol that's Naomi from a series called 90210.

I definitely think that's awesome--talk about self-care!! If someone gifted me a beginners' DVD, I might try it out too. Or, well, there's YouTube xD

Of course! That's what friends are for!

I used my mat and DVD last night~
Turns out I actually really enjoy yoga, more than I expected I would, this is my kind of exercise. XD
I actually considered using youtube or seeing if Netflix carried any light exercise programs, but my beau's mum is really big on yoga, has an entire room dedicated to it and everything, and she was so excited about me being interested in it that she was offering me anything I would need for it without my even really asking, haha~
(This included a kettle bell, but I figured I should hold off on that one for a while, I can still barely climb stairs, and that just a few at a time with my beau standing by to catch me without serious risk of falling.)
It honestly made me feel BETTER after running through just a twenty minute yoga session, which I found interesting.

I was panicky just sitting beside my beau as he called my doctor today, bleh.
BUT. My follow-up appointment is SCHEDULED!
A little late since I had to wait to be able to afford to schedule, so I'll have to call in and re-up my scripts before I go in, but they said they'd be able to do that all over the phone for me, so at least there's that.
Being a real person is stressful. =w=;

Being on steroids kinda sucks. =w=;
I wake practically every morning with a stuffy, runny nose, frequently a cough and sore throat, and spend an awful lot of time sneezing.
And I have to have care when I go out into the real world because they suppress my immune system.
I'm rather looking forward to getting off them, honestly.
Soon, hopefully.

Cool sushi gif. Do you have a favorite kind? I like the egg sushi most, which is pretty good.

My favorite used to be a vegetarian roll with avocado, cream cheese, and microgreens in it (sometimes carrot, too), rolled up in a soy wrap because seaweed always tastes fishy to me, but I can't eat cream cheese currently, so it's off the menu for me now. ;w;
I've never actually had tamagozushi, but I really want to try it, was considering seeing if I could get some next time my beau and I go on a date night at one of the restaurants where he gets an employee discount, pretty sure they'd have all the ingredients for it.
And I think I'd be rather quite fond of kitsunezushi, but I've yet to find the tofu skins to make it myself (and it takes more work than I'm really willing to put in to make them at home), might have to hunt a little harder next time I'm at the local Japanese market.

I had my follow-up appointment yesterday, and it went well!
I get to start reducing my steroid dose, and should be able to be off them in the next couple of weeks or so, yay!
We talked about the study while I was in, and I may not qualify to get into it now since I'm doing well on my current meds, but decided to go ahead and get information about it anyway before I make my final decision on whether I want to participate or not.
I also got the go ahead to start branching out and trying other foods outside my safe list!
So excited~

Got to hang out with my mom yesterday~!!
And most of my family, actually.
We hung out at the home of one of my cousins who lives near me and spent the day making cookies.
Or, well, my family spent the day making cookies, and I spent the day decorating the sugar cookies they made, haha~
One of my younger cousins helped me for a while, but got bored and left me halfway through, but I wasn't much bothered, frosting decorating is totally My Jam, and I was all over that.
In the end I think my family almost felt bad that they were going to eat them. >>;

Had my second visit with my gastroenterologist yesterday, and it went quite well!
Well, other than the part where I showed up early to my appointment (they'd said something when I scheduled about my insurance card on file being out of date and I'm like lolwut there's no expiration date on my card and I just got it and they haven't sent me anything and they're required to give me notice before canceling any of my benefits or changing them or anything, so I wanted to make sure to be early enough to smooth over any possible issues with that) and then had to wait an entire hour past my scheduled time before they'd see me. But whatever on that, doctors' offices are pretty much all like that unless you snag a morning time slot (and even then it's iffy).
I like my doctor, he's nice and listened to and fully answered all of the questions I had this time around, switched my medication on the spot when I mentioned that I'd been having trouble with my hair coming out in abnormal amounts since I started my other set, even said he was going to refer me to a dermatologist in the event that this problem is completely unrelated to my condition or medication.
Though I'm currently playing the approval waiting game with my insurance company because they have to approve my medication switch or whatever before the pharmacy can process the script, yay. =w=
Expected that, though, which was I why I wanted to ask my doctor about maybe switching before my current batch of meds ran out.
They also went ahead and scheduled my next appointment while I was in after I asked when I should try to come in again, which was really nice since it's kinda a pain to get in with this specialist (when I called about the visit I just had, my options were literally yesterday or midway through next month, kinda inconvenient since I was SUPPOSED to be out of town through like Wednesday, Thursday, so my beau had to request the day off so he'd be able to come pick me up and still make it back to my appointment because I couldn't afford to wait the extra month with possible complications), I guess this group is one of the most popular in the city and my doctor in particular works with like three, four hospitals overall.
For kind of half blindly choosing which hospital and doctor network we'd use (a few of my beau's coworkers recommended the one we went with, we had little prior experience with it, though we each have family members that have been to other hospitals in this network, all we knew was that they had a charity program that would help us pay my bills in the event I couldn't get approved for medicaid), this one has turned out to be surprisingly good.
Like, if any of my friends or family ever ask, I'll probably recommend the hospital I wound up going to.

New avi~ I've been meaning to make a new one for a while, I've soooo many new items since the last time I changed. >>;
In other news, STILL waiting for my new prescription to be approved, ugh. =w=
Have to try to call my insurance provider again sometime soon and question them about the status of that...
Bleugh, I dislike the seemingly constant fight with the billing people from my doctors and my insurance.
Yeah, okay, not like I need these meds or for you people to do your jobs or anything, ugh.

Ugh, that's frustrating, sorry to hear that. Insurance companies can take forever to approve if it's not something that needs to be immediately expedited. Which is so unfortunate, because like you said, you need this medication! I think it'll be good to call and at least get a status update. Sometimes things fall through the cracks. Hopefully you can still use your old meds in the meanwhile. I am glad though that you had a decent experience at the gastroenterologist.
