I actually live in Virginia, but the boy toy went off to school out west since the Santa Fe campus was the only one that accepted January starts. He'll be back in Maryland starting this fall.
I make 7-8 hour car trips every year down to South Carolina to visit my grandparents so drivin' up to Tuscon from Santa Fe will be a piece of cake. The promise of much fun will be incentive enough to make it biggrin

I live about 3 hours away from there! I'm just outside of Southport in NC, and since there's Shizznit to do here, me and my friends usually go shop and mess around in Myrtle beach for fun!

I'll be down there this summer too X3 We should hang out biggrin ..... though I will need to find beach wear.... I found the cutest bathing suit in Ocean City... it was $75......just for the bottoms and then $150 for the top....wth....

I feel like crap now. And it's all over that stupid topic of Tokugawa Ieyasu and his killing off Christians. Now someone I thought I could trust is calling my sister a Nazi. She's only interested in what happened not celebrating what they did. I don't do well with people who betray me. I'm depressed that I'm going to avoid going to Japanese class unless all those people are not in the room or near by.

@ Aly: Dits, 'cept I nearly never get to wear them (I Don't wear tops, but trunks, speedos are creepy...): My parents HATE the beach. Maybe it's 'cause we're black, maybe it 'cause they're vetarans of the Gulf War, or maybe they're just old... They HATE the beach with a passion unrestrained!

@Angel: Back in History class the teacher thought he'd get the class to debate/argue and asked for a volunteer that would accuse Hitler and for one to defend him. I was the only one who volunteered to defend him because I honestly believe he was a great man. I don't mean great as in good... the way I describe it to younger generations is think of how the wand shop guy Oliander from Harry Potter describes Voldemort. "He did great things, terrible yes, but great." Does that mean I condone what he did? No, but I appreciate the genius and drive he had to bring an ideal to fruition.
I assume that's a bit like your thing with Tokugawa.... but I may just be rambling.

EDIT(is edit) - you know what'd be fun/weird? havin' a bikini/swim-wear contest with our avatars come summer-time.
