NightClan//Deputy//Tough, Loyal, And Quiet.
[I let out a low growl as I patrolled the territory, my nose low as I tried to scent out the foxes. Frustrated, I returned back to camp, and headed into Hauntedheart's den, sitting down by the entrance]
"Hello Hauntedheart, how're you doing?" I asked quietly.
[Without waiting for a response, I lowered my head slightly, amber eyes trained on the floor]
"Hauntedheart, I know you're injured, but there is a pack of foxes out in the forest that we need to take care of. I'm not asking you to do anything you're not capable of right now, but if I take a patrol out now, and someone dies, well, I.. I don't know what I'll do. So I guess what I'm really asking is, when do you think you'll be healed enough to heal cats? I know you need to recover, so please, don't take offense, I just need to know so I can protect this Clan until then" I explained softly,

Mudnose dashed into camp, stopping short at the medicine cat den. She felt herself tumble over, and she started rasping her tongue across her flank briskly. She stunk of SeaClan! Trying to ignore the horrid taste, Mudnose masked the scent best she could by rubbing herself against the ground. She heard the somewhat stomach turning grinding of bone. She sighed. She would have to get her rib bone mended somehow.
Mudnose sat up, trotting into the medicine cat den. She stopped dramatically, her head whirling around. "Have no fear, Hauntedheart! You are going to live!" she half yowled. Her voice came out in a whistly screech though, much like a bird. She sighed. Perhaps rolling on the ground with a broken rib hadn't been the best of ideas. She sighed; another whistling sound came from her. She wished she could feel the pain of it. She wondered what it would be like.
Cinderwing whirled around, his eyes narrowed. "Dear StarClan, Mudnose, Shut up! Can't you see that she's resting?!" he snarled. His tail lashed, and his yellow eyes glinted, despite there not being much light.
Mudnose smirked at the tom's agitation. She trotted over to him and sighed. She guessed she had gotten there before the other had. No matter though. It gave her time to clean her wounds.
As she started, she heard a shocked gasp from Cinderwing. "Did something attack you?" he asked in a hushed tone.
Mudnose snorted. "If that's what you wanted to call it," she scoffed, her tail twitching. She turned to Cinderwing, seeing the worried look in his eyes. "Don't worry, it's not as bad as it looks," she reassured him, but he didn't look convinced. To distract herself from the fact that Hauntedheart could die, she looked at the lump on her side. She winced slightly, but not from pain. It looked much worse, as if the rib was about to pop out of the skin. She smiled at that thought. Would she be able to feel that? She didn't dare try it though. Not with so many cats around. Especially Foxfur. She laughed inwardly from nervousness. If she ever did something like that in front of him, he'd probably think of her as some cat with bees in her brain. A loon. Someone who didn't deserve to be in his presence. [I bounded into camp, relieved to be back in my own territory. Smiling, I headed into Hauntedheart's den]
"Yeah, Hauntedheart!" I whispered, "You're gonna be ok!"
[Foxfur]
NightClan//Deputy//Tough, Loyal, And Quiet.
[I looked up as the two she-cats entered Hauntedheart's den, my pelt growing hot as Mudnose came into my view. I jumped up when I saw she was injured, concern filling my amber eyes. I padded over to her, stopping a tail-length away]
"What happened?" I asked softly.

Mudnose blinked at Foxfur's question. She sighed, looking at her paws. Her pelt was growing warm under his gentle gaze. "It was just a minor thing. I got in a fight with some cat. Frozenshade or something like that. I was in a tree, serving as backup in case someone attacked Willowheart, and he chased me further up the tree. I think he broke my rib, but I can't tell," she meowed, shrugging. Her eyes returned to Foxfur's, betraying her true tiredness, but only for a moment. Her bravado was slowly wearing off.
Mudnose looked around, trying to find Cloudfang. She snorted when she couldn't find her. "Where'd Cloudfang go?" she asked. Slow flea-bag had probably fell behind or something. She would catch up soon if she knew what was good for her. After all, imaginary foxes were lurking about, according to Eaglesoar. She snorted. [I narrowed my eyes angrily at Mudnose's words, and let out a low growl]
"Freezeshadow.." I corrected softy, turning my head away in anger.
[My ears pricked when she told me that her rib was broken, I felt this sudden urge to run to SeaClan and rip Freezeshadow to shreds. Stupid foxheart, I'll kill him if he ever touches Mudnose again.. I took a step forward, wanting to brush against the she-cat, show some kind of comfort and support, but caught myself, and retraced that step, looking away awkwardly]
"That was very nice of you, looking out for Willowheart like that" I praised quietly, still looking away, "I know you'll be ok, you're strong. not many warriors can break a rib and handle it as calmly as you,"

[My green eyes switched from Mudnose to Foxfur as I took in the whole scene between them. When did this happen? What's going on? Were they together?! I shook my head. Of course they weren't together. Foxfur would've told me, I looked at Mudnose again]
"She's coming," I meowed, "Just a little slow,"
[Then I got up and left, heading for somewhere unknown to me. I padded throughout the territory, aching, aching, for my love]

Mudnose snorted, looking up at the ceiling. She smiled a little, sighing. "If only you knew what I could handle," she murmured almost inaudibly. She sighed, looking at the disfigured lump on her side. She wished to feel the pain to it. She craved it. She sighed, looking at her paws miserably. She hated her curiosity!
Mudnose heard Willowheart's curt reply and smiled slightly. She looked over to the she-cat to reply, but she was gone. Confusion sparked within her. "Er...what's ruffled her pelt?" she asked absentmindedly, but stopped thinking. She'd be fine.
Mudnose looked over at Cinderwing, but looked at him in confusion. Was he...smirking at her? A glint of amusement sparked his gaze, making her feel uncomfortable. She paid no mind, and her eyes returned to her paws for a moment, staring at the almost healed wound on her paw she had given herself a few days ago. She knew she shouldn't eat poppy seeds until Cloudfang had treated her. Though she needed to eat some herbs to help heal her wounds.] "Cinderwing, can you get me feaverfew and comfrey, please?" she asked softly and glanced up at Foxclaw entered the den. [She listened closely to the deputy and sighed. She was holding the clan back form defending itself. She shouldn't have gone out alone, not with the foxes out there. The medicine cat stayed silent for a few seconds and then glanced up at Foxclaw.] "I'm better then I was before. I was sure I was going to die earlier. As for the foxes, you can go right away. I'll be able to treat the cats and Cinderwing can help me, if he wants. He did save me after all," she mewed and smiled at Cinderwing warmly. [Her crystal eyes glanced away from the tom as she heard Mudnsoe and Willowheart come into camp. She heard Mudnose's load voice and winced. God, didn't she know to be quiet? Hauntedherat's head still hurt, which was why she needed feaverfew, and was about to politely, but firmly, tell Mudnose to shut her mouth when Cinderwing beat her to it. She glanced at the she-cat and noticed the rib showing on her side. What had the she-cat gotten herself into?] "Cinderwing, get Mudnose some comfrey as well. She'll need it to treat that broken rib," Hauntedheart mewed calmly. ╔════════════►☠◄════════════╗How can you see into my eyes like open doors

Cinderwing's eyes met Mudnose's for a moment, and the tom looked at her expectantly. Did she...like Foxfur? He smirked. He didn't see how any cat could like Foxfur, but he guessed it worked. It wasn't his business anyhoo.
Cinderwing nodded to Hauntedheart, grabbing the same stuff he had grabbed for Hauntedheart's bones, and something that he guessed to be Feverfew. He set them out, but paused as Hauntedheart started apologizing to Foxfur. He felt anger start through him. He was making the shecat feel bad for being attacked by a.....whatever attacked her! He almost growled, but stopped himself. Foxfur was the deputy after all.
Cinderwing sighed, padding to Mudnose. He would most likely have to set her bone first. Wincing slightly at this thought, he meowed, "Okay, you're going to want to lie down."
Mudnose smiled slightly and laid on her good side. Cinderwing sighed. This would probably hurt her. He didn't want to get his ears clawed off by the fiery she-cat. He sighed. "Mudnose, please don't hurt me, this is going to hurt," he meowed.
[Mudnose]
Mudnose couldn't help but snort at Cinderwing's assumption. "Yeah, if you think so," she meowed.
She heard Cinderwing snort above her, and soon felt some pressure on her belly. He was prodding at her ribs, getting a feel for them. After a few minutes, she heard a sigh. "Ready?" he asked hesitantly.
Mudnose smiled. "Sure," she meowed. She felt a sudden flicker of pressure on the bone, and felt and heard it crunch into place. SHe didn't make a sound, other than a somewhat bored sigh. After a second, she rolled on her back, looking up at Cinderwing. A horrified expression was fixiated on his face. She grinned. "What were you expecting? An earthquake?" she asked. Cinderwing just stared at her.

[He muttered to himself as he bounded towards Bramblefire, stopping in front of him with a fierce snarl etched onto his features.]
"For once, Bramblefire, can't you find something useful to do? And for the last time, I don't give a mouse tail for your pelt, you can go burn it for all I care. I'm in no mood for your jokes today, so get out of my face!"

[I drew myself up, putting on strong face, when all I really wanted to do was curl up and sleep for a moon. There's always something going on, isn't there? I thought unhappily, but shook my head and turned to Hauntedheart]
"Thank you, Hauntedheart. If you're sure, I'll take the patrol out now,"
[I dipped my head respectfully to the fierce Medicine Cat, and turned to look at Mudnose]
"I'm sorry, Mudnose, but I don't think you should come. I can't risk.."
[I trailed off. I can't risk losing you. I've become too attached, I finished silently]
"I can't risk your health. If Hauntedheart gives you the ok, you're welcome to join us"
[I then left the den, brushing against the she-cat gently as I padded past. Once out in the weak sunlight, I squared my shoulders, and let out a yowl]
"Tigerfang, Eaglesoar, Willowheart, Brokensoul, Spiriteyes, and Spottedheart [np]! Come here! Shadowgaze [np] and Wildwind! You guys guard the camp. If anything comes near, do not hesitate to attack! Everyone else, stay inside camp. There are foxes out there, so be careful!" I shouted.
[Willowheart and Spottedheart came bounding up as I called out to the warriors, so I flicked my tail to them in greeting as I waited for the rest of the warriors]

[Spiriteyes couldn't help but grin as she heard the call, "That's us, Brokensoul." the she-cat stated with ambition sounding off in her smooth voice. She retrieved the prey which she had just mercilessly killed before dashing back to camp. She flung the prey by the fresh kill pile as she went, not even stopping to do so. Spiriteyes stood proudly in front of Foxfur, "I'm prepared." Her statement meant a number of things. She was already prepared to die for her clan, and prepared to kill as many of these ignorant foxes as possible. She made it obvious if she was going down, she was bringing at least three down with her. A warrior's courage, one would say. They insulted the very essence of Nightclan, waltzing in on their territory and attacking their medicine cat right under Nightclan's nose. It was on.]
(OOC: She isn't really going to die though. >3> I just want her to get a good bit injured.)

[I huffed out a breath of air, and giggled.] "Look, Silentkit! Fire!" [I gleefully looked at her, and then back to see the smoke. Hmm. It was gone. I exhaled as much as I could, my eyes lighting with delight and pleasure in it's response. A cloud of misty smoke curled, and evaporated as it flew higher. Maybe that's my special talent! I can make fire! Well. Right now I can only make smoke, but if I keep this up... Oh kittens. But right now, I needed to hone my skills. No one would beleive me if I just blew smoke! No. Just no. I had to make fire!]
[Maybe more force is what I needed. A little more push. I gulped in a huge breath of air, then, with my eyes squeezed tight, blew with all my might, my muzzle blubbering slightly from he outburst. The only thing I got was another curl of smoke. Darn it.]
OCC- You know how it's cold, and you breath and your breath is white. We have that already. I dunno bout you guys, but it's freezing.
