The light focused on a point, as small ghost-like figure of an egyptian woman appearing.

The woman looked somewhat like an Egyptian priest. She blinked and looked up at Miete. "...I really hope you're seeing this, Keshoto... I'm afraid it will only work once... As you know, this is my singing blade. I leave it to you, my son. May it accept you as its new wielder... Or at least accept someone meant to be with you... This blade has a soul of its own. Live long and be strong, may Baast and Ra watch over you." The immage faded away.

Miete held the blade as a tear fell down her cheek at the message, "I'm going to need to heed what she said, and I should tell Keshoto about this when he's free."

Miete sheathed the blade and sighed, hugging herself, 'No matter what happens I can't let him hurt Keshoto... in any way. I can't let his brother turn me into a vampire, but I can't let him die. What can I do?'

As in on cue, there was a soft knock at her door. A male vampire underling stood there, red eyes staring at her. "...Master... Requests your presence."

Miete stood up shakily and nodded walked over to her door and waited for the boy to show the way.

He stared at her a moment, then turned and headed down the hall. "Keep his teeth away from your neck.... Don't end up like us." He stopped outside a door, bowing and leaving her.

Miete nodded and replied, 'I'm going to do everything in my power so I don't." A thin layer of shadows covered her skin before she walked in the door and waited for him to say something.

Lucifer stared at her a moment. "Ever wonder why Keshoto refuses blood? Do you want to know the truth about him?" Lucifer stared at a silver cross shaped like the scars of him and Keshoto, spinning it slowly in the moonlight filtering through the window. He held it with a piece of silk cloth so his hand was not harmed by it.
