I'm not downloading anything though D: *pats computer* It seems to go faster now, since it is actually loading the page within a few seconds, instead of the 5 minutes I was waiting around 15 minutes ago...
What is robotech if I may ask 3nodding ? I never heard of it before...
but yeah, my computer hates me when I download stuff xD;;; It drives me crazy sometimes. Atleast it behaves for the most part. I think my dad did something to the comcast box when he was fixing it when it kept going offline o-o

Eclipsed: Connection speed is measured in kbps, or kilobits per second. Download rate (which is what's happening when a page is loading; it's being downloaded) is measured in KB/s, which is kilobytes per second. Eight kilobits are needed to make one kilobyte. So if your connection is 300 kbps, you're getting a 37.5 KB/s download rate per second.
So while it seems your connection is going a bit slower than normal (or perhaps it's just gaia), I felt I could inform you a bit on these things~
On another random note, my feelings were crushed today. It's a good thing I lost the ability to cry long ago. n_n

Thanks, Alex whee I was just taking a wild guess at what speeds the internet loads at xD; It always says it's at 100 kbps, but I seriously am doubting that by the way it usually acts. Which is weird...because my downloads usually are around 40 kb per second though O_o' AIM sends my pictures at roughly, 100 kb per second(which strangely enough, doesn't seem to matter who I send it to), which is why I knew something was up when it was going 4 kb per 10 seconds for me earlier.

I dont particualy like Mecha.

Eclipsed: Go here ( http://speedtest.ma.charter.com/ ) , change the file size to 10.88 MB, and click Start Test. Do this three times. Then add up each corresponding values ( kilobyte with kilobyte, megabyte with megabyte, etc ), and divide by three to get the average of each one. That should give you a better look at your internet speeds.

Yeah, my computer is not at 100 Mbps that's for sure xD
My averege is
667 KB/s
.6 MB/s
5.34 Mbps
and according to my computer, it should be at 100 Mbps... ugh...>> Then there's something wrong...
