Is ShoPro that place that doesn't actually distribute stuff, but licenses it and sells it the the distributors? If so, until they sell it, Naruto might be still availible at Animesuki for a bit. I don't know. xd sweatdrop If you're correct, then, that's good. 3nodding

Suyo I'm going to really miss my weekly Naruto fix, but I'm excited about being able to buy the DVDs! You'll be able to buy the DvDs. What about us poor souls who live in England? sweatdrop They won't get released here for quite a while after. Or at least that's what usually happens.

Streamjumper Quote: About ShoPro Entertainment/VIZ LLC Headquartered in San Francisco, CA, ShoPro Entertainment and VIZ, LLC recently announced their upcoming merger to become one of the most comprehensive and innovative companies in the field of manga publishing, animation and entertainment licensing of Japanese content. The new company, whose name will be announced shortly, will be owned by three of Japan?s largest creators and licensors of manga and animation, Shogakukan Inc., Shueisha Inc. and Shogakukan Production Co., Ltd. (ShoPro Japan). So if I get this correctly, a Japanese owned company will be responsible for the dubbing of Naruto... How much do you want to bet people will still whine that its American companies ruining the show? They'll still whine once it has been dubbed that 'amerka fuked dat s**t up!'.

I'm honestly not even... worried about the dub. I don't like it happening -- I'm certainly not going to WATCH it. "Don't like it, don't watch it." I know I don't like dubs.
ANYHOW. I'm worried that it will be thrown on CN or any public TV. I know CN will try to snatch it up because it's a ******** huge hit.
And that means at my school, every little Inuyasha fan will be ALL OVER Naruto like a whore in a vibrator.
So, I'm making shirts that say, "NARUTO FANS BEFORE THE BIG MISTAKE" 3nodding

The animation market in Japan would belly up tomorrow if it wasn't for American dollars going into it. They've been growing more and more dependent on the secondary market over here for years. Seriously, dislike the people prattling about it, but don't down the fact that its being made available... after all, if it wasn't for shows being brought over in the past you wouldn't know enough about anime to be tossing elitist attitudes like this.

No no -- I mean, dubbing series is a great thing and all. I mean I prefer my anime in Japanese with subtitles or lack there of.
I don't want my three little clones at school jumping all over Naruto and NGE like a bunch of n00bs -- they've already hijacked some manga and How To Draw s**t.

Suyo Okay, I feel like a ******** moron. I said yesterday that my Dark Cape was missing, because I couldn't find it in my inventory and when I checked my old inventory image against my current inventory, the Dark Cape wasn't where it should've been... But as it turns out, the Dark Cape was in one of the trades I stopped, and it was lying at the bottom of my inventory instead of the top, where it should've been. whee I'm so happy now. xd xp Win. cool
