While in the middle of pre-intimacy, Jack suddenly stopped. He closed his eyes tightly as he let out a quiet groan. He turned his head to the side and gently shook it. He let out a quiet growl as he got off the bed.

Shadow slowly begins to wake up from hearing crying. She sighs then stands up and walks over to the cribs to see Azriel, and only Azriel crying. She picks him up and holds him close to her as she hums softly. She walks out of the room and down the hall hoping he would drift to sleep as she walked.
