A dark figure walked through the woods, the air around it reeked with the dead and it had a presence of suffering and anger. The was another emotion though, and it was kept alive by a bond.
It's heart pulsed and the figure's head lifted, it's eyes a blinding white. The figure was a strong and carried a overall look of determination, a warriors determination.
A sword was at it's hip, the handle a bright sterling, runes glowed along the blade and white fire seemed to consume it. In it's hand was a pendant, one given for protection and love.
The figure let loose one low and raspy breath. . .a name came from it's lips.
"Kuro. . ."

Rintala followed behind Vice, keeping a few paces behind her master. When he stopped, so did she. Unlike her other training sessions with her master she didn't wait for him to get airborne. Almost immediatly the stone cold feeling of power enveloped her entire body, she could feel the power of the earth clashing with her own as she took hold of it and molded it to her will. She saw the destructive forces she controlled when she created that little light show for the young KB...and now she wanted to push those destructive forces! Pull them and twist them until she was happy with what she had. A pillar of earth and stone errupted from the ground, a few feet infront of Vice, throwing it's weight at the master.

*Vice, wastes no subtlety as well.
He leaps backward, using a glae to push him to the edge of the clearing in a mere few seconds time, landing, he regains his footing and stares toward RIntala and her pillar of earth.
A strange orange glow surrounds him, on closer inspection it is revealed to be a mist of some sort, flowing around his body, and gathering at his palms.
The mist then explodes into a raging flame, which engulfs his hands and forearms.
The flames surrounding his arms seem to grow with every passing second, as he awaits Rintala's next move.*

Fire? The Master had never used fire before! It was no matter! Earth was stronger! It would smother that flame, she would smother the flame! She would not be weak any longer! "No more! I won't be weak! Do you hear me?! I won't be weak!!" There was a tremor as another pillar attacked Vice, in the same pattern. While the pillar did it's thing a large stone was forcefully thrown at the Master. It was just high enough to catch him if he jumped, whether backwards or up, and it was just low enough to hit him in the back of the head if he didn't jump. Rage was burning inside the little blonde, and she reveled in the feeling of power that came with her rage.

*Vice stomps the ground, throwing his head back.
He roars as if experienceing the pain of numerous tourtures.
The flames leap from his body, growing, burning and incinerating everything around him.
It scorched the earth do dust, and set trees ablaze, the rock struck home, but explodes on impact into a cloud of cinders.
The flames threatened burning Rintala, even at this range.
Vice falls forward, whether from the blow or fatigue cannot be determined, even his own clothing begins to catch ablaze as the world around him seems consumed by the inferno.*

Throwing her arms up, around her, she shields her eyes from the heat. The heat of the flames continued to grow, and she thought she felt her arms begin to burn! Lowering on hand she held it, palm upwards, then thrusted up into the air. A solid wall of stone now protected her from the flames, but what of the Master? She wanted to go check on him, but was afraid...

*Vice clambers back to his feet and raises his right arm into the air.
Fingers outstreched, his hand begins to shake, as the flames recede, being drawn back toward his hand.
The fire was gone ina matter of minutes, all that remained was a scorched area lined with blackened trees.
Vice inhales slowly, staring intently at the earthen barrier.
He would not show any weakness, even though the burns pained him.
Instead he focused on the pain, his breathing assuming a rythmic pattern.
He simply stands there.*

As the flames subsided, as did Rintala's barrier. The slab of earth that protected her slowly began to drift back into the ground. She hated being afraid! It made her feel weak, and that feeling of weakness spawned rage, and that rage fed something deep inside of her, and that gave her power! As the last of the slab receeds into the ground her eyes go wide in surprise, the Master was fine! He should have been burnt alive in that crazy inferno, but he was fine! Alive and well, or atleast that's what it looked like to Rintala.

"My...rage...?" She didn't even notice she was upset...because she fed it to what ever was eating it in exchange for power so quickly she didn't have time to let her body read the anger! She knew she was feeding it, but she didn't really know she was feeding it. "I'm sorry, Master...I will try harder."

*With that he straightens to his full height, flakes of blackened clothing flaking from his body, and walks back toward the cavern, slowly, but he did not limp, or whince with pain as he moved.*

((Actually...same here. Hehe, it's bed time!))
Rintala bowed her head, in respect...and shame. He was right, she was too hastey in her actions...she had to slow it down and plan her moves! She didn't raise her head until she was sure that Master Vice was no longer there. She glanced over at the charred earth, an idea forming in her head. Yes he could teach her how to draw the power, great techniques to use her power to it's max. But only she could wield it so deftly...it called to her, as if she was born to use this power! She felt like she had to know every little detail about what she could, and could not do. Soon she was hard at work, trying to test her theory.
