Vincent, aware that his presence would probably not be welcome, smiled and shook his head, remaining seated on the couch. "This is usually the private bit, sweet." he murmured, then squeezed her hand.
Lily didn't answer for a moment, trying to speak around the lump in her throat as tears of joy sprang to her eyes. When she couldn't form the actual words, she just smiled, the expression full of happiness and love, and nodded her head, holding out her left hand.

Uakai blinked then smiled a bit
"So he is?" she asked and purred happly curling up aginst him
"I'm glad. they are so happy together" she said to him snuglging up and purring more

Arlen slid the ring onto the appropriate finger and grimaced slightly. "Sorry it doesn't fit properly," Arlen said softly, entwining his wingers with hers as he stood, and then pulled her into a hug. "Thank you," he whispered into her ear.

"Yes, they are." Vincent smiled and kissed her lightly. "They'll be good together when they're married, and so will we, when we're ready."
Lily shook her head, then finally managed to speak. "It's perfect." she whispered, hugging him tightly, then holding her hand out to admire the way the ring sparkled on her hand. Then she hugged him again, eyes closed. "Why are you thanking me? I should be thanking you. I love you so much..."

"I love you too," Arlen said holding onto her like she was the most important person in the world, which to him she was. "I don't know what I would be doing without you, I might still the on the run."

"That we'll marry..you really want to marry somone who has only the traning and knowlage of a slave?

Lily smiled slightly and nuzzled his neck. "But you do have me, and you'll never be without me again." she promised. "Together forever...I like the sound of it."
"Of course I still mean it." Vince murmured, smiling and stroking her cheek. "I love you, Ukaia, for who you are. I am definately going to ask you; the only question is whether you'll accept when I do." then, grinning, he put a hand over her mouth. "And I don't want to know that bit until I've asked, which I haven't."

Ukaai giggled a bit as his hand covered her outh right when she went to speak. She smiled and nodded a bitthen kissed his hand.. then moved her mouth to kiss eachof his finger tips

Lily smiled and pulled back slightly, then gave him a soft kiss. "So you can ask me to marry you, but you can't look at me naked?" she teased, still glowing with happniess.
Vincent held her close as they kissed, then pulled back, smiling. "Should we go congratulate the happy couple?" he rumbled, sqeezing her hand lightly.

Vincent smiled and kissed her softly on the forehead, then on the lips. "Okay sweet." he murmured, standing with her still in his arms. He gave her a loving squeeze before he set her down, then bowed and offered her his arm. "My lady."
Lily dissolved into giggles, though there was a faint blush on her cheeks. "It's not that..." she told him, kissing him lightly again. "Just making sure the thought doesn't repulse you." she teased again.
