Mitchell Hundred I only had one CoCo Aquarium Cat thing so I gifted it to you Selina. whee heart 4laugh I'm ok with that, it's a cat after all! Thank you. Meanwhile, ROUND TWO! Ms. Selina Kyle Tonight we had mussels swimming in white wine, butter and shallots, with golden fingerling potatos soaking up the juices (and a baguette to catch whatever the potatos missed). Tonight there was a spicey pumpkin soup with cardamom and ginger. For the main course there was a roasted duck basted with orange sauce, stuffed with herbs and chestnuts. Pan roasted green beans and turnips completed the meal. I love visiting!

Well it's not bad, but it's kind of sad from my perspective. sad This food is so good! My mom is a fantastic cook. She always goes all out when I'm visiting, and I try to grab whatever recipe I can to try them at home. Most of my friends are guinea pigs at one point or other for my culinary experiments.

I think the food only sounds fancy because they're not typical ingredients. Duck and mussels are not all that common unless you know where to look (WOO ASIAN MARKETS!). Same with rabbit, even though it's very healthy and economical meat. None of these dishes have more than ten ingrediants, not even the soup. To paraphrase Julia Child, good chicken should taste chickeny. The duck was: duck, chestnuts, tyme, rosemary, butter, orange sauce (we cheated, sauce comes from a jar my mom made a while back, I have no idea what's in it). The sides were just turnips, green beans, shallots, butter, salt and pepper.

Thumper is a very delicious sweet meat when made properly. I can give you a good recipe for beer braised rabbit if you like.

Lamb: king of meats. The cuter an animal is, the tasty it becomes. This is fact.
