Man, being home feels rather nice after spending nigh on a full week sleeping on couches.
Did you visit your friend while you were there?

I did. Spent five or so hours hanging out with friends. Sat and played guitar (acoustic) for about forty five minutes with my friend Garret while we caught up on the past eight months or so.
What was the main purpose of the trip, I forget.

Well got back from the christian youth camp friday, and I can't wait till next summer....missing some of my new friends, hoping to visit one of the group's church close to where I live.
The way back was somewhat quiet compared to the way up there, and we ended up with two kids getting sick on the way back, one we think or one of my youth pastor and me thought he had the stomach flu, but he sure didn't look sick today at church, my younger brother has been going on and off with his fever since friday, and he has to go back to summer school tommorrow.
May have caught what he has, but it seems to have gone away, other then messing my stomach up, giving me somewhat of a headache, though that's died down a bit, and the chills at random moments. Felt a little fatigued while at church and at lunch.

The sooner you're out the better, haven't had a quiet moment with her in ages.

So what's the advantages that you have if you're in a frat in college ((or university))?

Revenge of the Nerds and other bad 80's comedies come to mind.

Cost is one. It really does range a bit, but for the most part living in a fraternity is less expensive than living in a residence hall. The main trade off has to do with meal plans. Triangle's plan has meals every school night (Sunday through Thursday) and lunch on every school day. That leaves me to eat breakfast on my own and three weekend meals.

Another is connections. Among the top Fortune 500 company owners, tons are from Greek Societies across the world. An alum of Triangle is high up in the ISU Engineering department, and there are Alum in Boeing, Lockheed, etc.

The home feel is a third piece. Everyone in the house really is a brother to everyone else. The meals are home cooked, and there's laundry in house (which is amazing).
