This is how I rank people in tournaments, from greatest to least priority:
- Attendance: If you can't attend, there's no point holding up those who can.
- Roleplaying: You're here to roleplay. That means rping your character in a fighting situation. This encompasses keeping things clear and making it seem believable.
- Fighting Knowledge: If you don't know how to rp a fight, you're not going to stay in the tournament for too long. This involves logic, physics, and common sense (which isn't always common for people on Gaia who haven't been in fights or experienced them).
- Writing: You don't have to be a good writer to be a good roleplayer. As long as you understand elementary grammar, spelling, and some form of literacy, then you'll do fine.

Yeah, okay, so I have a job. I work six days a week. My fight has more responses than any other fight. If I was lagging behind, I'd feel guilty, but I'm not so I don't. I've put my back into fighting despite the fact that I work insane hours at an insane pace.
Sorry Savoki. You're just going to have to settle for having the longest fight that also happens to be one of the best in this round.

Long fights are nothing to brag about, especially here. A 25 post limit is barely anything. Thirteen posts in only a week is very low.
Best is also subjective. The only talked about fights in this tournament so far have been Hank Hill vs. Jecht, Athena vs. Jecht, and Slash vs. Tres. They're grounds for most noticed right now.

Being contrarian is so easy.
Honestly, your opinion is yours. Keep it. I care nothing for it. I and my opponent have performed very well in my fight. If you feel the need to talk yourself and your friends up, that's got nothing to do with me.
