"Would you look at all this? I wonder just how many Earthlings were brought to this amalgamation of Disney?" The rogue approached the group, his hands in his pockets as he eyed the newer recruits. He had been left out of Seymour's group heal due to his less-than-favorable stance with the group, but he had a few potions leftover from when he last left Hook's ship.
"You guys don't need to worry about suddenly getting attacked by me. At least today. And hey there, newbies. Name's Cory, and I'm probably going to be a pain in your collective a**."

Dawn watched the introductions that were going on around her. Though most of the people that did speak were already people she knew. She glanced at Louis from the corner her eye. She remembered that he had he mentioned about the Archadian Empire the night before. If anyone would know anything about any of them it would him. She was sure it must of been hard on him to have his own people attacking in such a matter.
"Well maybe you can give us some pointers," Dawn asked Louis, "You were a part of the army, right? Maybe you can give us some advice to get them to stop this. If worse comes to worse, you should know of best places to aim and shoot them down."
Quina watched group curiously. He was curious of where they all came from. What kind of food did they like, he wondered. A person can learn a lot about a person just by finding out what kind of cuisine they like.
The Chef soon looked over at Kichi and Mathy while Kichi was holding out the bag of dresspheres. He watched in wonder as the boy took something out of the bag and instantly was in new clothing. What kind of food could of that of been, he asked. Curious, Quina walked over and sniffed the bag.
"Tasties. Me have?" He asked as his tongue moved around dangerously close to the bag that held the dresspheres.

(( Ugh this is what happens when LIFE gets BUSY! You read and prepare a catch up post- THEN things BLAST ahead- And something ELSE happens- like your lil bro’s graduation- mom gets sick ect ect ect ECT!!!!!- GO back to edit your post AND now see how far everyone has gotten!....*sobs in a corner* I have no one to blame but myself for this…
anyways I apologize for a CRAPPY Catch up post. Simply cause I can't waste or risk anymore time elapsing before you move on again!))
[Kyla: Hawaii> Carbuncle Mecha> BACK to Hawaii Clearing]
Kyal kept up the pace with the others, offering her supportive defense and protects as well as using her sure fire way of blasting the masses with her barrage of illustrative long ranged fire power. Aside from the fancy new spandex attire it was rinse and repeat from beginning to end.
She had to admire how much the method wasn’t anything like she imagined. Battles have no pattern to them- one moment you’re in a board meeting, and the next you’re in the battle field dodging those bombs falling from the sky in the same minute!
Things of course got tricky the moment Terra arrived on the scene. Now here was a true match in terms of magical strength. Kyla didn’t think she had a snow ball’s chance in hell against her.
Still she couldn’t just let her do as she pleased.
“Let’s switch the game up a little.”
She wasn’t quite sure what she was even doing, but if it was going to happen, this was how it would likely happen for her. She finished the next image and focused, trying to picture it.
Nothing else left but to try and summon it and see what happened. The pictomancer cracked her book open as wide as the spine would go until there was a snap! There was a flurry of pages that exploded from the book as if a whole section of it was just broken off. They combined into a hailstorm of swurlling pages while engulfed the teal colored ranger.
They formed a solid mass which rippled and churned in it’s shape until it dyed the same color as the suit of the one it incased and slipping into form around her was – dun dad a duuuuun!!! Carbuncle Mecha!
It wasn’t how she first imagined her first experience with any mechanical piloting experience. Yeah sure back in the day you’d imagine you’d possess amazing flying/fighting skills the moment you popped into your first cockpit. You’d snag those controls and show the world you’re a total BOSS.
Well, that’s fantasy and this..- well this is Kingdom Hearts, and most certainly NOT how she pictured it.
When she finally got herself seated, it appeared that Carbuncle’s Mecha form was some kind of small flyer jet. In size it was roughly twice the size of Clouds Motorcyle. The small chamber was streamline in a similar shape to the adorable creature it resembled only it looked very futuristic and air born! Obviously the smallest of the entire mechanical summons. The cockpit reminded her of riding a motorcycle, mixed with something from Evangelion, at least as far as the hand controls were concerned.
Kyla felt herself being leaned forward in the seat her hands slipped into two interlaced joy sticks that encased her fingers and pressed them to a touch screen that reminded her of an ipad mixed with a cintiq touch pad!
She realized she could trace images with her finger tips!
From her vantage point it made viewing the entire beach MUCH easier to observe and center in on her targets, she could touch the screen with a finger tip and do a small tracing in which a residual Birn strike was launched right at a Tengu or Heartless like a missle or a lazer fire! COOL!
When the battle ebbed, she landed half hazordly on the shore line, and sensing it’s use was no longer needed the mecha dematerialized. Much like her book would when she didn’t need it. Only in this case her book returned and she was still in the suit at least.
She said nothing as the Earthling regrouped, some i
introduced themselves. So those who met her eyes she would simply nod but again say nothing, there were more important things to discuss and decide then divert time to niceties. That could done later after the Hawaiin populace was safe…
Still... there were some new faces now since she last saw them. They looked tired, but Kyla was still happy to see them again. In one piece still too.
That was..until she saw Joe’s face.

"...Joe?" she blurted his name out before she could even stop it, suddenly her eyes downcast the moment she realized she had spoken.

The male heard his name called, and he looked to Kyla. Good, she was safe...of course, when she looked downcast, the male had a spark of irritation ignite inside him. Not because she cared, but because a small, small part of him felt pity. And he wasn't something to be pitied at the moment. The plus was that it was easy enough to snuff ou-
What the f*** was Cory doing here? That spark suddenly blazed inside the male, his wind picking up around him. Why were they fighting with him? Why haven't any of them learned any goddamn better? It didn't matter that technically he fought beside him just now, because he just came to fight for his allies. He just wish he had known that one of his 'allies' was that backstabber.
And then Jacob opened his mouth, and the blaze seemed to erupt at the gay rapist comment, the male stalking off with a growl and finding a tree to climb, sitting amongst the top branches and watching the horizon and incoming ships. For just a second, his charm opened up to Kyle alone.
Just let me be for now. I'll come when I'm needed. The thought message was growled out.
And then the connection was severed and blocked off once again, Sylph staying quiet in the male's head to let him stew off his anger and irritation as his wind seemed to billow forcefully around him. Anyone could find the tree he was in from the moving leaves and branches, though, so he wasn't technically hiding.

Kichi looked at Mathy's new attire, mask included. "Huh...well, as far as happenings...Our world ended, destroyed by the heartless..." He said with a wince. "And the worlds of what we knew as Kingdom Hearts turned out to be real as well...though now they've somehow merged into some sort of conglomerate world, and a lot of the people who were...gone, seem to have returned. We're still trying to figure out what's going on ourselves." He gave Quina a bonk with a tonfa, and said "No, not food."
As he heard people introducing themselves to the group, he raised a hand. "I'm Kichi, or Jon, whichever works. This is my friend Mathy." He turned to Mathy and asked "Unless you want to be called something else?"
Cory approached the group, and a visible cringe was seen from Kichi. He noticed Joe's face contort with anger. Then Jacob spoke up and pissed Joe off further. Before Joe left, Kichi made sure to say. "No, Cory's nothing as nice as a rapist" in response to Jacob.
As Joe left, and send his mesage over the trinity charms, especially to Joe (Unknowing of the block on contact), 'Hey, Sorry for Cory getting in...but, he asked to help, and though we warned the Grand Councilwoman of the dangers of allowing him to, she said he could seeing as we needed any help we could get. He's on watch, and is off the second he does anything against us...but as we all know, that may be too late. Either way, if we fight him rather than work on saving the people of the island, it will probably end up worse for all them. As much as I'd love to just have us all beat him into oblivion and END him, now isn't the time. We have bigger problems to handle.'

When Anthony notice Dani's attempt to shake his hand, he immediately dismissed his gauntlets, his ranger suit turning back to his hoodie and shorts, and gently grasped her hand, returning the shake. It wasn't long after the rest of the Earthlings joined the growing group, all of them either introducing or re-introducing themselves. Oh man... So many new names to memorize... He gave a slight wave and restated his name for those who weren't close enough to hear it the first time.
Suddenly, the atmosphere around the group changed as another newcomer approach the group. "Ah... so this is Cory," the knight thought, recalling the conversation they all had back on the Pearl. Things just escalated from there. Cory was quite the popular guy it appeared... just... not for the right reasons. "I sure hope Joe will be alright," the young man thought as he watched the bo-wielder storm off.

This would be quite a task. And they seemed to gain one more person in their group at that moment! She wished magic powers would grant her the ability to remember names. Ah, so this is the Cory they were talking about... she thought to herself. There already seemed to be sparks flying about. She also looked to Louis as Dawn brought up her point. It seemed they had an advantage, finally, seeing as he was a tactician for their military. Since a fair number of people had spoken, Sayrike gingerly raised her hand. "Hello, I'm Sayrike. It's nice to meet you all.

'Okay, that was a video game character and apparently Earth's already been destroyed. You need to keep cool Matt, freaking out won't help right now,' Matt thought to himself. He was glad for the mask that covered his face, as it had contorted in shock and was drained of all color. He could tell that he didn't need to look weak right now.
Matt nodded at Kichi in acknowledgement of his introduction. He cleared his throat before speaking, trying to keep it in control. "Mathy's fine, though my full title is Happy-Go-Lucky-Mathy-chan, friend to small woodland creatures, lord of the dance and master of mystical monster magic." He pointed his fingers out to imitate guns and clicked his tongue. "Ladies."
Matt observed the rest of the Earthlings, surprised to see that there were so many others. For a second he thought that maybe there may be many more survivors from Earth, but quickly shot that idea down.If it were true, there would have been a much larger group. But he remained grateful that he wasn't the only one, and at least one of his friends survived.

Louis listened as Jacob entered into the introuctions, holding down a chuckle that followed the joke about needing a shower, I think everyone could use a shower right now. A long, hot, relaxing shower. God, if being around pirates doesn't make you want to clean yourself off several times over nothing in this world would... or was it worlds? Whatever.
After finishing his mental commentary to himself, Louis had to take a deep breath, Dawn's question took priority, "Unfortunately, I'm not an engineer, telling you how to shoot down an Archadian airship simply isn't my expertise. What I can tell you are two things, one, I wouldn't assume attacking a fully armed carrier or battleship to be an easy ordeal. In fact, I wouldn't advise it at all. Second, if it must come down to that, I can suggest they don't take well to being shot, like any other vessel."
"As for any other advise, anyone know who their commanding officer is? Most fleets are led by a judge magister... it might help to know which one." Louis paused and turned towards Kichi briefly, "Long time no see, Kichi. Well..." Louis motioned to the blindfold, "Perhaps a bit longer."

Dawn listened to Louis, she did her best to hide her disappointment that he didn't have better advice to help in the upcoming fight. She didn't think he was an engineer. If only they knew more to go by. Like any weak known weak points the army may have.
"I suppose," she said, "But from the sounds of it they are not going to give us any other choice, but to fire back. If these guys are going to harm innocent people for who knows what reason. I am sorry Louis, but I thought you said your home was full of peaceful people. Do you know any reason why they would be doing something such as this?"
Dawn looked over at the one Louis called Kichi, who had just hit who she recognized as Quina from Final Fantasy IX. She rolled her eyes as the creature held his head after the impact. She also took a moment to glance at Joe who had stormed off into a tree, quite literally. She felt the wind coming from his direction. Then her eyes moved to Cory who seemed to be the center of all the tension. She had heard all the stories. Dawn recalled when before the girl Rae got her heart taken, he had caused great tension then too. Instead of saying anything to him, she turned her attention back to Kichi and Louis.
"Another thing we should focus on is how we are going to fight these jerks. I know you guys mentioned zords, attached to our summons. Would anyone know of how we are supposed to go about doing that?"

It was funny how people interpret the things you do. Kyla’s eyes were downcast because she felt shame, for a number of things. Most of all she didn’t want people to look at her too closely- they would see the tremor in her arms, or the steeled look glazed over her eyes the closer Cory approached.
She wasn’t afraid… she knew that now. No it was something else.
Something inside that made her depressed and hopeless. Looking at Joe put it all into perspective, and she couldn’t help but think.. it wasn’t fair. What Joe thought was pity, just simply disappointment in herself, disappointment for thinking this whole deal was to be her grand escape into adventure.
In Disney, you do riding into danger and come out without a scratch. It was all lies.
Kyla felt the sad fact sink in just thinking that she would never see Joe’s symmetrical sweet grey eyes blinking back at her again. And he wasn’t the only one. Louise had his share of battle scars- she couldn’t see what happened but his eyes were completely covered and so her imagination came up with the worst reason in her mind.
She barely got a chance to talk with him before their group split.
When Joe suddenly turned away in an enraged huff, disappearing into the trees she knew something had changed in him. He was emotional, sure, but there was a more volatile edge to it that she didn’t recognize from when they first parted.
She said no more and reclined back into her silence and decided to resume her usual visual inspection of their lot.
Dawn looked more haunted then before. Had she slept? Her arms looked stronger now; obviously she’d been putting her Tessen to good use. How often?
A new face amoungst them was Jacob. He looked taller then her by a few centimeters at least, and he was lithely built. His most striking assessor were his goggles around strapped against his dirty blond hair. She couldn’t help but remember those days when she was younger, cosplaying as a hero from digimon. Just below his shorts she noticed his had some scars on his right knee. Was that from battle?
He had that look that Kyle used to have when they first arrived. Back when he greeted her one morning in Agrabah with a kiss to the hand and a “Good Morning Princess”. Jacob looked like someone who knew he was good looking and sued it to his advantage; his shoulder suggested he was more tense than normal. He must’ve arrived in their group VERY recently.
Next was Antony. Not much taller then her, with a more stocky build and a manly- yet trimmed beard on his face. His hair was as dark as hers and had the eyes to match. His attired reminded her of some Blitz Ball player in final fantasy X… mixed with a Bouncer. He seemed more contemplative for a first timer- so maybe he wasn’t.
Sayrike was shorter then her perhaps. With long dark brown hair and eyes. Her face…it was obscured by a mask, well a half mask. She had an olive complexion and an average build for a female of her height and seemingly younger age. Her clothing was simpler than others, but it looked better that way. She seemed like a no-nonsense kind of person. When she raised her arm she thought she could see something like a blemish or scar by her forearm, too far away to tell.
Then there was Mathew. MUCH taller than her, and built to match! He was paler then most form what she could see revealed and had a frock of dark brown ha- (was she seeing a pattern here?)-..hair which was rather unkempt. Could be because they just fought, but when he finally spoke she figured otherwise. That was all she could tell from his feature wise besides his attire because like Sayrike he wore a mask as well. Only his was almost completely concealing. His attire was comfortable yet durable- and he had goofy yet dependable written all over him.
He reminded her of Chichiri from Fushigi Yuugi.
She was so engrossed in her analyzing, Kyla still hadn't introduced herself at all. Instead she skipped to the more important stuff Dawn was breaking into.
Only then did her silence break finally.
" I.. I think I have some kind of idea. I summoned my own Mecha- er.. Zord, for a moment back there. I think to be perfectly honest..you just call them- Doesn't really matter which way. For me it felt a lot like when I summon my book. Only it felt bigger- like there was more weight to the summoning then before. Now my book goes back and forth with ease, but there was a real weight to it. In exchange I noticed my book disappeared and was replaced with the controls of the Zord which compensated for my powers."
Kyla crossed her arms trying to find the words to properly articulate this.
" I think form what we know from the records, there was always some password sentence, a gesture, something that cued the Zord to appear for it's pilot. I think depending on who you are and what your summon is, this method is varied. For me it Incorporated my book. I suppose it could be same for you as well- but with your own weapon of course. As for words, pass words or magical incantations, I think whats important is the power behind the message. You need to want them. The same way you want your weapons and they come to you. Just be prepared for perhaps more 'pull' behind it."
Of course she could be completely wrong about this...
Oh well, if she was seen a fool it wouldn't be the first time, serves her right for opening her big mouth.
"It's..just a theory formulated from experience, execution will determine it's validity."

Kyle rolled his eyes at Cory's introduction, though he was more paying attention to Louis' explanation. He didn't seem all that surprised... rather, more frustrated at this turn of events.
Something to note.
Kyle nodded silently to Joe, not even bothering to send a message his way. As Kichi spoke up to excuse Cory (though it was completely mental, really), he glanced over to Cory, and for the briefest of moments recounted each of the Starlights he had in the area.
"Quite the change of heart, Cory. Just 24 hours ago, you'd said you hated all of us and told me point blank that you should be considered an enemy 'from the start'," Kyle said, remembering the incident clearly. "Which came as no surprise after you butchered one of our own, and then made no one raise a brow when you kidnapped Kyla. And here you are, offering more suspicious aid."
There was a moment of pause, as if Kyle was contemplating saying something else. All he ended up doing, though, was giving a shrug. "The enemy of my enemy and all that jazz."
He turned to Kyla as she spoke, nodding as she explained about the Zords- she had just driven a pretty small one, which came as no surprise, due to Carbuncle's diminutive stature. "So it's basically like a normal summoning, only that we should focus on the mechanical aspects of the world. Pretty easy enough," he responded, running a hand through his hair. Summoning had, for the most part, come pretty easily to the dragoon; he couldn't help but wonder, though, what shape Ultima would take in a world where all Zords were animals.
"That leaves the rest of us down here to fend off Axel and the rest of them- piece of cake!" Sora called out, smirking with his typical confidence. "After all, we've got Riku, Cloud, Leon, Auron- heck, we've even got Seymour! He helped out a ton back at Beast's Castle."
"You flatter me, Keyblade Master," Seymour responded, bowing over out of respect before coming back up, towering over most. "I will do what I can to keep them in one piece."
"Can the new kids even summon?" Riku asked, glancing sideways at Matthew for a moment before turning to the others. "Last I checked, it takes awhile before they 'wake up', even if they are bound to your hearts, right?"
"Yeah, that might be an issue, but they'll just help out on the ground until their summons awaken- they tend to be spurred into action when the hosts are in danger," Kyle said. He'd been glancing around at the others, and for the most part, he had everyone pegged; there was only really one person that hadn't spoken up, and there was only one other person that he knew of- Alan. He seemed the kind to keep silent until needed, anyway. "As long as we stick together and don't get picked off, we should be able to come out of this well enough. If this is anything like the situation with Ooze that I know of, the Rangers are due back any minute now."

Listening to Kyla's explanation of summoning, he nodded along with it. It sounded right, but he wasn't so sure about the other parts. When he had summoned Midgardsormr earlier, he had automatically taken the Zord form. He had thought it was part of the world order thing. The summons were just conforming, same as the dress spheres.
"It might have just been me but when I summoned earlier there was a pretty big drain on magic. It was exhausting and I couldn't keep it up for that too long. If anybody else is like me, then we'll have to hurry in destroying the enemy, otherwise we could be left stranded without any magic or summons." He said, remembering the battle with Elleon. He'd only been able to keep Midgardsormr around for a short time and if Seymour hadn't been attacking as well, things could have gone sour. Not like he'd actually beaten her...she just left. "And going from that perspective, it would probably be best if those whose summons haven't woken up yet didn't use too much magic on the ground battle." He added on, trying to think how best to go at the battle ahead. Strategy had never been his strong point.

Anthony felt he could cut the tension in the air with a butter knife, and, honestly, it made even him feel a bit awkward, which is unusual since he's usually the one making others feel awkward. He figured he'd be the first to give Cory a decent greeting, no witty or crud jokes or attitude, but a simple, "Hey, how're ya? I'm Anthony from California. Nice to meet'cha. I've heard a lot about you." He raised and offered the other a closed fist as a form of greeting, much like he did with Michelle when he had first met her back on the Pearl. "Knuckle touch?"
Regardless of whether Cory would return the first bump or leave him hanging (if he hadn't, Anthony would awkwardly shift his eyes left-to-right, make a "pop" sound with his mouth, and finally lower his fist as he turns to face the rest of the group), the knight turned his attention back to the main group. "It must be because of the ooze," the young man said in response to Dawn's question to Louis. "If Ivan Ooze is involved, and if most of the adult population of Angel Grove is under his control--along with some of our other allies--then perhaps even the Archadians have somehow been affected by the ooze as well. I mean, granted they are as peaceful as Louis said they were."
As Kyla explained the her zord summoning process, Anthony couldn't help but snicker as he recalled the dorky motions the Rangers had to do in order to summon their zords. He then imagined having to do the same and cringed. Grown men and women... dancing in colorful spandex... Oh boy...
