Well the most obvious fact about Shandra's powers are that they are psionic in nature...almost working like a mild close, (extremely close) range telekinetic ability. There really isn't much else to go by in the wake of explaining how the power works. Its related to her own psionic energies, so her max potential is simply derived from how much energy of her own she can channel into her power.
Now on the basis of expanding the versatility of her power...one thing that popped into my head would be the concept of 'repelling' things on an atomic level...but that may be pushing the envelope.

Because if her powers do get the chance to evolve I know just where I'm taking them next. ^_^
But lets see if you guys can just do the current explination ones.
Umm...hmm...let me put the discription down here so Ai doesn't have to go search for my profile.
Shandra can block things from herself and others. (The range varies on how much energy she has) That means she can block the senses of other people, but only for herself and whatever she is holding, and block her body and others from touching the ground although it is one of her harder techniques. This is triggered by both inactivity or consciously relaxing her body. The ability that goes along with it is that she can block things from hitting in her range and redirect them slightly or send them right back where they came from.
Pros: Eclipse could make one of the best spies or thieves because while she may show up on camera people still will not see her face clearly, a residue effect of her ability, nor will she be picked up on heat scanners because she can consciously put a shield block around herself so they wouldn’t get a trace of her.
Cons: Because of her ability her blood (Type A+) rejects any foreign toxins, making it both a liability and an asset, and she can not control it. This also means she will reject any unnatural fats or chemicals that were put into foods, causing her to throw up every time she eats out at fast foods or places like that –but she can eat anything that is naturally made from animal or plant by-products. Also when she is cold her power to block the senses is nullified until she warms up a little. When she is startled she sometimes sends people or objects away from her, especially if she is emotionally distraught.

Because...the pushing can be somewhat explained like magnets, couldn't it? She just turns into a stronger opposite than whatever is coming towards her...

Well if she can shield herself from the image on a thermal scan and from the senses of others, does that mean she can already make herself invisible? Or is that something that will come later with a little more control?
And yeah considering she can repel things like 'senses' as well it would make more sense to be psionic in nature.

Well she can already make herself invisible...she's been practing for a while and having to put it to use too. I think I had it so she really started to practice with them when she was 11...
But she has a hard time totally blocking her mind, most of it is just an unconcious shield that would make it more difficult but not impossible. Although...I think I was going to have it so she's able to throw people out if she's like in a half-dream state and then wakes up kind of thing. But once again, totally unconcious and she had no idea how to control it so she doesn't even really know she can do it at all.

Makes sense to me. Lets just hope she doesn't get to the point where she doesn't just throw them out of her mind, but pushes too hard throwing them out of their own mind. xp

I think it would be at least a year or two of hard, hard mental studying for her to be able to do that.
At the moment she wouldn't even know her power is more mental based. ^_^ She just theorizes that it's more "energy" based but she can only do so much because it puts more strain on her body than anything. Like...her energy never wears down, at least not the energy she uses for her Mutant Powers but her body does since it's what has to release it. --Blocking people's senses doesn't take much thought for her, its the other stuff that does.
Does that make sense to you as to why she could think that?

Sounds almost like the exact same problem my character has ^_^;
Honestly, my character realizes his power is psionic in some nature...but he really has no idea how to unlock the next step of the evolution of his power that would allow his body to freely take in energy without potentially killing him every time. Until I figure out a way to do that, (kind of like how Ice man finally figured out how to turn his body into organic Ice) until I figure a way to implement that level of psionics, his powers will always tear apart at his physical body...

I told you man, just go for a Emma Frost power up. Well the only problem with my character is he doesn't see his power as much of a power. In truth there's an array of things he can do but he's just realizing that he can actually apply the laws of physics he's learned.

hmm...well I know basic little things though my level isn't as advanced as yours if someone can explain it with words that don't need an explanation themselves I tend to pick it up quick...
soo...well if you think that all signals are electric in origin...what about increasing that in small increments over time until there is nothing but electric signals left? --basically meaning he'd turn into electricity...
but that's just one idea for you. And I'd take that back since I think there wasn't another electric user...
hmm...but the theory still might work considering that electricity is only another form of energy in a sense...so maybe swap out the electricity with just pure energy?
