Jenannen Care_e Jen: in reguarding your last reply to me: We've still never gone all the way.. and im not sure if we will this trip around... i think its something we're both a little nervous/shy about, but I also think, in a way, we are kinda ready for it...if we DO do something of that nature.. we'll be sure to be careful ^_~ Kari: Have you ever been to a gyno? I had a full exam before I got married/became active. Once you're sexually active they recommend a pap smear once a year. If you're really ready for that sort of a relationship make sure that you have some form of protection/birth control in place, unless you're planning on children in which case you'd better have talked about that! ^_~*hugs Malee* Aww, I'm sorry things aren't going so well for you. <3 Three more days for what?
Meri: If it wasn't for having a place and some giudelines for ordering I'm prety sure I'd just scrap the thread all together... It's hard to 'cause just what I have there in the shop thread really doesn't show everything that I can do...Jen: I've been to a Gyno before ^^ I used to be on birth control because my periods are so irregular.. then when i became 23 (this past March) I wasnt able to get anymore because my parents insurance didnt cover me anymore.. so I just stopped taking them, hoping I would become regular on my own.. but, im still very much irregular.. Im actaully going in for a pap next friday ^^; I want to get a perscription of Birth Control pills for a few reasons.. 1. to regulate myself 2. incase my bf and i *do* become "active" 3. the last TWO times i've seen my bf, my period started that very day ><;; and where we dont have sex, we do do .. other things.. and that just ruined it ^^;;.. And, when I did have a pap before.. it was a "blind sweep".. i am still a virgin, so it hurts me when they do the regular one, so much that they couldnt actually do a full one.. *sigh*cardi: you can look if you wanna XD we're talknig about girlie things that may make others uncomfortable.. ?

It was cool. It was great to be with my boyfriend again after not seeing him for 3 months.
I sure hope I'm not pregnant.
As for traveling about the area, besides being at Georgia Tech campus and the Airport, we went shopping at 2 different malls and a Fry's electronics, went to dinner a few places, and went to the new aquarium Sunday afternoon.
Spent 2 days at his mom's house too. We had HAM for thanksgiving sad

@kari: okies whee *still a big kid in lotsa ways, although she's a year older than kari xd *
@miri: ham? eek non-traditional, but... i'd rather have ham than turkey, actually ^^;
you went to the aquarium? gonk heart i so want to go. everybody's talking about it. it even has its own freeway exit (i was betting with friends that ikea'd get its own freeway exit... xd ). too bad it wasn't open the weekend before last, when my friend was visiting from out of town.
when i picked him up from the airport, we got lost in the airport parking deck for an hour because i didn't want to go through the pick-up traffic and i forgot where i parked... erm. yeah o.o
we were very chaste and well-behaved, which greatly disappointed our friends back in california xD

Kari: That's good that you're taking care of getting those exams! My periods were never completely regular, but not so far off that I went on the pill. I've actually never been on the pill. I was started on the minipill six weeks after I had my daughter and I was sicker than I was when I was pregnant. So my OB took me off the minipill and has not wanted to start me on the full-strenght pill. I've always been very sensitive to meds... and hormones so. *shrugs* it's just one of those things.
I hate periods! They always seem to start at the worst time... like just before you leave on vacation or something!
The other thing that helps with pap smears is if you can relax. I know it's hard to do with people down there, but it does hurt less if you can relax. For that matter same with sex... the muscles down there tighten if you're nervouse/scared (you can read about that in tampon insertion instructions). If you can relax and just be stimulated that'll help you; you spend too much time worrying about it and if it's going to hurt it's more likely to.Miri: What a coincidence, I went to an aquarium too. Birch Aquarium at scripps.

It's a really nice aquarium, but very expensive. If you plan to go more than once, get a season pass. 22 bucks an adult, 55 bucks for a season pass.
Also, try not to go until it becomes less popular, because it was EXTREMLY crowded on opening day. I mean, it was even freaking out the poor animals by how crowded it was. An early weekday morning would be a nice time to go, when you can relax and enjoy it.
There are a ton of cool things, like the touch tanks (I touched a stingray and a horseshoe crab biggrin biggrin biggrin ) and the huge walk-through tank with the whale sharks in it. I think there's one single sea turtle in the whole place, and it was hard to see him with all the brats crowding around. Lots of other neat guys too.
Don't bother with the food court, it's expensive and not so yummy. I bought a lobster-shaped lollypop that I promptly named Zoidberg. You'll be forced to walk though the giftshop to exit the building, so beware.
The absolute WORSE part was having to stand outside in the cold for 45 minutes just to get patted down and metal-detected. Uh huh, like terrorists are really gonna want to bomb an aquarium...

i did hear of this one private school here in atlanta that wants to have its prom at the aquarium. they have this gorgeous ballroom surrounded by the tanks, or so i heard. but it's expensive @_@

I kind of take advantage of the pills though.. i take it when I know i dont *want* my period to happen during a certain time..like visiting my bf ^^; and ya.. relaxing is a bit difficult.. but.. between my last papsmear and this one... well, lets just say i hope to have stretched out a bit more? ^^;;;;..
*yawn* im so tired.. my brain is fuzzy.. *blinks at screen* and so are my eyes ^^ im going to head to bed <3 goodnight all!

Meri: I had the same idea... not much of anything in the fridge though, we tried to use most of it before we went on vacation. I found some bagel bites in the freezer though. I have those in the microwave. ^_^
Kari: Yeah, mine were like a couple weeks "late" at most usually. I always had heavy periods though.
It's not exactly stretching... Your first time you'll tear, and you may or may not bleed. I didn't bleed, but I kept some pads with me just in case.
