Ike, followed by Adie, dove down with Mantine to the underwater entrance. Ike was surprised Cody knew about it, as it was used mainly in the days of Team Aquos in 2006. Ike saw that it still worked fine, but as we swam through the entrance, we noticed one peculiar thing. He was still swimming. The HQ was completely flooded. Ike pulled out a few underwater breathing devices for him and the other members to use. The small red things that fitted inside their mouths would allow them to breath and talk underwater.
"Maybe we found a new HQ?" Ike asked, swimming around the underwater common room.

Adie and Squirtle swam after Ike, spinning slightly as Adie could only smile. However, as she realized that the rest of the HQ was flooded with water, and she was quickly running out of air, even if she could hold her breath for a really long time. Thankfully, Ike passed out breathing devices, which was good enough for her. Giving Squirtle a deep breath of oxygen before she placed the device in her own mouth, she looked over at Ike as they swam through the living room.

"That, or something bad happened...I like your theory better," she responded, pretending to sit on the couch, though she ended up just floating upwards after a moment. Swimming over to Sammy, she placed a comforting hand on the girl's shoulder.

"Hey, it's alright Sammy. We aren't going to let anything happen to you, ok?"

"Hm... I don't remember that being there before." said Ike, looking at a box-like figure coming up from the floor of the common room. It was covered in algae and needed to be wiped off before cleaned. It almost looked like a plaque.
Suddenly through a few broken windows in the big dome overhead a number of water types came swimming in.
"Guess it wouldn't hurt to battle in the future." Ike said. "Go ahead and battle a water type." he told everyone, calling Mantine front and center.

Cody sent out Dragonair as a Poliwhirl swam up to him. The Dragon Type sent out a huge gust of wind with Twister that created a whirlpool like effect, knocking Poliwhirl back a few feet. The pokemon came back with a Bubblebeam attack, shooting a large spray of exploding bubbles through the water at Dragonair. The pokemon sent a bolt of electricity though the water, hitting the opponent and KOing it completely. "You're lucky that didn't shock anyone else," Cody xplaied to the pokemon and returned her.

Ike and Mantine were ready to battle as a Barboach approached them. Mantine, being slightly swifter under water, managed to hit with the first attack.
"Mantine, use Confuse Ray!" Ike called out. Mantine faced the Barboach and emitted rays of confusion through the salt water. Barboach managed to swim away from them and retaliated with an Aqua Tail. It swam its way over to Mantine and gave it a swat of it's tail, doing little damage.
"Alright Mantine, use Bullet Seed!" said Ike, almost forgetting Mantine could use such an attack. Mantine readied a few seeds and fired them at Barboach. It hit three times before Mantine quit. The attack was quite useful against the Barboach.
Barboach, using its remaining strength, fired back with a water gun. Being underwater, it only shot a concentrated current of water at Mantine. Mantine, though, managed to dodge it. Ike, who was right behind Mantine, wasn't so luck and was sent flying back into the walls of the HQ. He almost choked on his breathing device, but managed to swim back up to the battle.
"Alright, before that happens again..." said Ike, pulling out an Aqua Ball. He did his best to throw it through the water at the Barboach, but the pokemon managed to hit it away with it's tail. The Aqua Ball went flying out of the broken windows.
Barboach turned to Mantine and attempted to use Mud Bomb. The ground attack had no effect on Mantine, though, and Mantine finished the Barboach off with Headbutt attack.
"I need to practice through poke balls under water." he said to himself as Mantine swam back over to him.

Ike looked around the common room, trying to find that box-like thing that was sticking out of the floor of the HQ.

"Good battles! ^^" She said semi-cheerily, still clinging as tightly as ever to Squirt. "Now, uhm... When can we get out of here?"

"You know, I'm not going to lie, that kinda freaks me out a little bit," she said with a small laugh, Squirtle coming to her once more as he allowed her to grab his shell, nuzzling his head under her chin as she swam over to get a look at the plaque herself.

"What happened here? And who made the memorial?" There were so many questions running through her mind, not the least of which was who made the memorial. Someone that admired them obviously, but it just seemed to strange... Obviously they weren't an Aqua...or they were one that wasn't exactly familiar with the team's history.
