 ℐirst 𝒴ear ❶ ℳuggleborn ❶ ℛavenclaw ❶ 𝒞haser Alex sauntered onto the pitch, feeling daunted. The last game hadn't exactly been wonderful, in fact he hadn't even laid a hand on the quaffle. Hopefully this time he could be a little more involved, possibly make a shot on the goals even. Above all else, he knew this game that he'd try to make as many steals as possible. If that failed, he'd just have to wait for the Slytherin game. He sighed as he remembered losing to Hufflepuff. At least he hadn't been hit with a bludger yet. It was actually starting to unnerve him, he grew more and more frightened of the evil objects the longer he waited for a hit.
Upon his arrival, Alex saw his vice captain stretching. The sight quelled his anxiety infinitesimally, and he set down his broom to join the keeper in warming up. His thoughts moved to next year, when Rick would be in charge. Alex hoped he'd make the team again, but he'd definitely miss those who were leaving, especially Chase. Gratitude toward the captain for granting him a spot first year was what inspired Alex's resolve to try hard. "You ready to destroy these lions?" He prompted Rick as he stretched to one side. "Keeper's only third year, Seeker's fourth. Shouldn't be too hard." A lump formed in the chaser's throat as he considered the truth behind his words. At least he hoped it wouldn't be too difficult.

XXXXXXX Walking over to the pitch with a frown, Xavier clutched his broom, an evident frown on his lips. He wasn’t ready for this. Not yet. Even after all the fuss on the pitch, then in the common room. He was the weakest chaser in the team… and having Leo in his place was something better. The only advantage he had from the first year was that he had a couple years of experience. But the rest… the first year beat him. He sighed as he saw some of the Gryffindor team already there. Crash, Jacob, and David. He waved at the three and nodded at each one in acknowledgement. ”Good day, lads,” he smiled, for the first time since he set foot on the pitch for their game versus Ravenclaw.
Surveying the Pitch for any Ravens, he only saw Rick, their vice-captain as well as their keeper. And a firstie. Mysterious firstie. Probably a chaser though, since the former captain was a chaser. And so far, it looked like they only had 3 chasers. Limited, I tell you that. He smiled at the two in greeting. Then checked his equipment for any damages.

Cameron walked out onto the pitch, broom slung over his shoulder. Honestly, it felt great to make the only open beater position. It meant the captain and vice captain thought he was the best beater on the team, didn't it? After all, there was always a war for a spot as a beater on the team. Cameron nodded to his teammates who had already arrived: Crash, Jacob, David, and Xavier. "Ready for the game?" he asked before letting out a deep breath through his mouth. The boy was rather nervous for the game. After all, it was Gryffindor's first game of the year, and they hadn't won a single match in the last several years. Maybe this year they would?

Elliryanna walked onto the pitch behind most of the rest of her team and dropped her broom down next to Cameron. She gave her boyfriend a wavering smile before quickly tying her hair up in a messy bun and looking at the other team. She was terrified that her very first game as captain would go horribly wrong.

Ver slid past her sister, giving the other girl a gentle but reassuring nudge as she passed. Ver was honestly almost hoping her sister's team would win if only to prove that Elli wasn't the horrible captain and person everyone seemed to think she was. Of course that didn't mean Ver wasn't going to do her damned best to knock every single player on the Gryffindor team out.

For this game against the Gryffindor, Ravenclaw would try harder to win, for the quidditch cup and the house cup. But, of course, it would be wise to consider their team's limits. And then destroy that limit, because if no limit could restrain the Ravenclaw brainpower, then no physical limit shall bond their abilities.

The feild quickly filled with the students that were playing this game quickly. As soon as everyone was settled into their positions, Keegan took his own place.”This match is Gryffindor and Ravenclaw match. I’m quite certain my request that I have said every match since I started should go without saying but I want a good and clean game..” The Quaffle was then launched and the Bludgers released with the snitch following shortly after, and the trill of the whistle ot beging hte match sounded

Caitlin mounted her broom as soon as the quaffle was released. She quickly kicked off the ground, her Gryffindor robes flapped in the wide as she reached for the inanimate ball. Maybe they'd win this game if it started off with Gryffindor. If she could get a few points in the beginning, maybe they'd get a little morale boost and they'd try a little bit harder this game.

And it's not easy to be meJacob shot up into the air, already looking for the first bludger to hit. Spying one, he rushed after it and glanced at his target, Shina. He swung, feeling the bat rush through the air as he tried to score a hit against the star seeker. They did need her to not be able to score, so that might have figured into his decision. AC: 17
