Luke watched as Kaya left to go change. She did look a little uncomfortable... So the wolf let her go, watching voer the animals while she was busy. Once she returned, Luke couldn't help but blush. That dress hugged her curves so nicely. Maybe this was what Demetri's downfall was...

Just as Kaya was about to ask what Luke was thinking, but the python that had been hiding under her bed chose that moment to appear again, twisting its way around the table and up to the food tray, where it gobbled down a couple hardboiled eggs in a comical way that made Kaya giggle.

Luuke looked to the python and laughed as well. Such a silly serpent. He really needed to learn to talk to animals. These creatures knew Kaya so well. Maybe they could help him win her heart and help him marry her.

Luke looked to Kaya when she spoke to him and he thought. "I bet he's doing fine. If I'm right about his age and how he's progressing, his body should be making its ice blood. Meaning Kaitani doesn't need me to recharge that crystal anymore. His body keeps itself cool."

Kaya raised her eyebrows in surprise. If Luke's calculations were correct that also meant that soon, Kaitani would be able to control transformations between human and dragon, and that soon he'd make the choice to either stay at the castle, or go off to join his clan...

Luke was thinking the same thing, but he was determined not to let it get him down. He was going to be happy now that Kaya was with him and Kaitani could control his own life.

Kaya looked down as a couple of cubs wrestled their way over her feet and she looked over at Luke. "They're all starting to wake up... And they're bound t o get hyper... Do you wanna get outta here?"

Luke looked to the cubs smiling some. "Nah. I think I'll stay and watch them with you." he said, kissing her cheek softly.

Kaya blushed some more and smiled. She was glad that Luke didn't seem to find the animals annoying... She'd been afraid of that, but it didn't appear to be a problem.

Luke smiled and transformed into his wolf form and got down on the floor with the cubs, playing with them some.

Kaya giggled a little and went to sit on her bed, letting the cubs play with her feet, which were dangling off the side. After Luke got into the playing, so did the pups and piglets, creating almost a little tornado of wrestling.

Luke played with the young animals, though being gentle as not to hurt them. Soon the old wolf was worn out and hopped back up with Kaya on the bed, laying his head on her lap and yawning.

Kaya pet Luke's head automatically, scratching behind his ears and gesturing for all the animals to go take naps.

Luke murred happily as he was pet and his ears were scratched. It was settled. He wanted Kaya as his bride. Who could give better pets than her? And she was just perfect. He really needed to brush up on his beast tongue and talk to the animals.
