Igor motioned around at the plane. "Because your island is where I'm needed."

"It's being attacked. By monsters called shadows. And only you and a small group of people who go to your school can stop them." He waved a hand and an hologram of Kai, Devon, Kana, Ringo, and Teddie showed up. Another two showed The Fool and Yamato, and a group of various shadows.
Kai frowned. "So, we should do something about Kanji's gross shadow..."

Igor nodded. "Quite..." He snapped his fingers and a card fell down to Selina. "That is your persona, the mask you put on to face the world, your ego, in it's controlled form. Crush the card when you are in the face of danger, and it will heed your call."
