[Turning to Mudnose, my heart felt like it was being squeezed. I feared for her safety. This was new]
"Mudnose, I need you to run back to camp and get Cinderwing and Willowheart. Hopefully, there won't be many. But tell everyone else to be ready just in case we need backup" I ordered quietly.
[Straightening up, I nodded to the three of them, feeling proud of my Clanmates, being so willing to fight and protect their Clan]

I'ɱ ʠɣɩηɠ ѻη ϯɧє ɩηʂɩʠє...╚════════════►☠◄════════════╝[Hauntedheart hadn't even sensed the foxes until they were on her. The medicine cat felt their sharp claws and teeth dig into her flesh and she let out a wail of pain, hoping that a cat was close enough to hear. She struggled underneath the foxes, trying to push them off, but the medicine cat wasn't an expert fighter and there seemed to be many foxes attacking. She could feel them ripping and tearing at her since every one of her nerves seemed to be on fire. Hauntedheart let out a shriek of pain as one of the foxes ripped at her stomach. Suddenly, it stopped, but only for a brief second and then another set of foxes were on her, making new wounds and attacking the old ones. She felt one bite her neck and she yowled and kicked out at the foxes, trying to land a successful blow. Someone help me! she cried mentally.]╔════════════►☠◄════════════╗How can you see into my eyes like open doors

Blaze Ƞo ɱore ʈears ȵow ☾_______________________________☽ [ Wonder's left thigh drew blood as the she-cats leg flailed in the air. Wincing, Wonder ran away, limping slightly.]
[Sensing the distress, Blaze barked and drew away a few feet. The band jumped in, panting.] "We've sent a message. Now we cover our tracks." [Giving a solemn nod, he pranced away, into the dark abiding forest, easy coverage for a fox. They slowly picked their way through the forest, until Blaze halted to a stop. He turned to them and nodded. They already knew what to do. When they had been chased by hunters, dogs were more than a problem. So they developed a system that would usually trick the dogs.]
[ Backing away, they got in a single file line. Blaze went first, shooting toward the tree at full speed, jumping as high as he could onto the trunk sideways, then jumping away with a powerful kick of the hind legs. Each fox followed, some weaker than others, before each stood on the other side of the tree. With a happy nod, Blaze bounded off calling out a little too joyful,] "Let's play!" [What he was really looking for was water. But all the same, the band recklessly shot after him, ready to play.]
Trixie gave me this idea. Foxes bound on tree's then to another place to trick hunter dogs. So like He jumps on the side of the tree and quickly jumps somewhere else. So it's like he went up the tree... Or did he?

She fought against the will to give in but everything hurt so much. Her front leg felt twisted and she could taste the blood in her mouth. She coughed up some of the blood and used to time to glanced at her wound before her head felt back into the red grass. She could tell her stomach was open badly and she knew much of her fur had been tore away. Her breathing was becoming weaker and, ignoring the pain in her head, she forced herself to look at her wounds again. This time, she spotted more gashes and bite marks in her skin and saw her front leg was indeed broken badly. Hauntedheart's head dropped back into the ground as another wave of pain shot through her body. She whimpered softly and felt it hard to breath. She knew the foxes had gotten her neck, there was no question to it and, from the pain in her head, they must have done soemthing to her skull as well. She just hoped someone would find her before it was too late. She dind't want to die. Then a haunting thought came to the medicine cat's mind, no one knew where she was. She hadn't told anyone where she was going. Hauntedheart glanced around and, with her last amount of strength, let out a yowl. She couldn't think of anyone to call and only one name came to her mind as she cried out.] "Cinderwing! Cinderwing help!" Hauntedheart screamed as loud as she could before her head dropped to the ground and her eyes closed.╔════════════►☠◄════════════╗How can you see into my eyes like open doors

Cinderwing smiled as he padded away from Mudnose. Why that cheeky- His thoughts were cut short by a cry. His whiskers twitched in confusion. Had someone called for him? He was sure that someone had honestly called for him....but the voice. Was that Hauntedheart?
Cinderwing growled, spitting a few curses before dashing toward the scent. Why had she went out alone?! And without telling him, or anyone else?! A new thought crossed his mind though. Maybe she hadn't told him, but someone else. He felt a pain enter his chest. That seemed hardly fair. But pretty likely.
As he continued, a faint scent of onions went into his nostrils. He tried to ignore it, butsoon had to slow down as the scent became stronger. His eyes watered, but he travelled faster.
Cinderwing let out a choking cry as his eyes rested on a crumpled body two foxlengths in front of him. "Hauntedheart!" he gasped, racing to her. He stopped, his eyes quickly scanning over the she-cat's body. He gazed at her for a long time before he started. "C'mon, it's not that bad. You can walk to camp with me, and we can get something t-to eat, and we can see about those...s-scratches," he whispered. It was a hideous white lie, but he had to say something. And he wasn't about to tell her that her wounds were bad. She didn't need that. Not now.
Cinderwing padded closer, setting his head on her chest. He could feel a faint beating. Still alive. He brought his head to her matted throat. She was breathing in ragged breaths. He'd have to get her to camp before she died.
Cinderwing stood up from the she-cat, and bended down to pick Hauntedheart up by the scruff. He froze though. There was a bite mark on the back of her head. He shook slightly, trying to find another place to pick her up by.
After what seemed to be ages, he finally decided to slide under her and try to carry her to camp. Slowly, he slid under Hauntedheart, and stood up on wobbly legs. He stablized himself, taking a few test steps to the left. Pine needles crunched under him. He sighed, absentmindedly feeling bad for anyone hunting at the moment.
As he walked into camp, he looked around. Everyone was bustling around. He sighed, and padded to Hauntedheart's den. He set Hauntedheart down in the nest that Eaglesoar had been in, quickly examined her wounds. He shook, confused. What should he do? He was no medicine cat!
Mudnose looked around the camp, and instantly searched out Willowheart. She cleared her throat. "Willowheart, wen need you to come with me, Eaglesoar, and Foxfur, and battle some foxes," she meowed quickly, and set off to the medicine cat den. She spotted Cinderwing standing over a black lump of fur. Was that....Hauntedheart?! She gasped. "What in StarClan's name happened?!" she asked in surprise.
Cinderwing gazed up at her hollowly. "I need Cloudfang," he meowed, his voice no louder than a whisper.
Mudnose laughed. "We don't need-"
"Get me Cloudfang!" he snarled.
Mudnose narrowed her eyes, and padded out of the medicine cat den. She nodded to Willowheart before padding back to Foxfur and Eaglesoar. WHen she found them, she sighed. "Willowheart's coming, but I'm not too sure about Cinderwing. He told me that he needs Cloudfang."

[I let out a low growl of frustration]
"Everyone, back to camp. I need to figure out what's going on"
[I turned and bounded back to camp, Willowheart keeping in time with me. I headed into the Medicine Cat's den, searching for Cinderwing, and finding him. Is that Hauntedheart!?]
"Dear StarClan" I muttered quietly.
[I backed out, and turned to the patrol]
"We can't fight the foxes right now. Hauntedheart..is, gravely injured" I closed my eyes for a moment, wishing I was anywhere but here, "Eaglesoar, and Tigerfang, I need you to guard the camp, get others to help you. Mudnose and Willowheart, I need you to run to SeaClan, and explain our situation. If they don't come, go to StormClan or BreezeClan, ok?"
[I looked around for Lavenderrain, but she was nowhere to be found. I had to fight against the urge to let out a yowl of frustration]
"And if you need me, I'll be making sure no foxes get near the camp"
[Willowheart]
[I turned to Mudnose, a look of grim determination on my face]
"Ready to go?"

[Spiriteyes' toned, bold figure padded to the entrance of the warrior's den. Her unnatural scowl examined the medicine cat den. Hauntedheart? Cinderwing? Foxfur!? The she-cat let out a small huff before she padded to to the group. "How?" Once again, that one simple word held a sentence, 'How the fox did this happen here?' She stared at the lump of fur and blood, rage flaring inside her as Foxfur declared for us to wait it out. She kept her rage burning deep inside of her but came to the realization that might happen if they did end up with a retaliation battle. Without a proper medicine cat, most of them would probably be doomed to suffer from infections.. ]
(I think that fox could be used to replace a certain cuss word. biggrin )

Mudnose quickly nodded to Foxfur, and then to Willowheart. "Okay, then we go to SeaClan first," she meowed, shooting out of camp. She was pretty sure Willowheart would follow. She headed toward SeaClan territory.

[I watched the two she-cats run away, feeling my worry grow. I tried to shake it off and turned to Spiriteyes]
"I don't know, Spiriteyes. I just don't know" I meowed quietly.
[Straightening up, my mew took on a more authoritative tone]
"Spiriteyes, I need you and Brokensoul to help me. Help Eaglesoar and Tigerfang, and keep an eye out? I know you want to fight, I do too, but we can't. Soon, but not right now. If anyone died because of me.. I wouldn't be able to handle it. Eaglesoar, Tigerfang, you'll get your chance, just please, stay here"
[I bowed my head to the warriors, a sign of respect I rarely showed to anyone, and bounded out of camp, sniffing around the territory]

[Spiriteyes let out a huff before she nodded back at foxfur. Although her order wasn't the one she would've picked she glanced towards the entrance of the camp. She was determined that the first fox to come through there was to die by her claws. She blinked and dipped her head when Foxfur nodded in respect. Her gaze traveled after him as he ran off. Spiriteyes let out a huff as she stretched her legs, preparing herself for a fight. It was a shame the medicine cat had to be the one to be attacked, because if it was just a warrior, or an apprentice- oh man would she be disobeying orders. For now, she would simply hang around, 'defending' camp. She let out a small huff of a laugh at Brokensoul's suggestion before she replied. "Oh but foxes make such good company" Her sarcasm turned the statement into a cynical joke. The only type she'd ever make.]
