Lovely... And no, I didn't say kill. Just disrupt magic and decline wavelength activity for the witch, thus disintergrating the soul into a revert stage which allows the student to capture it and turn their weapon into death scythes.
RIGHT NOW, the drug is enough to kill a kishin. Possibly a weak witch, too; but she wants it to IMMOBILIZE, not kill. Lose less student that way.
