"Because..." Aegina looked thoughtful for a moment and then looked at him and shrugged. "...I had a bad past with guys I guess. He's like that now, because he's my brother and all." Aegina told him. Mana would've been able to sense the sadness, and uneasiness in her emotions.
Barrick smiled. "I'm glad you don't." Barrick said and kissed her forehead.

"Okay..." Core said and paused, "Then, we'll go to the airship first and then we'll go and secure the Academy. There shouldn't be any fighters in there now; not since that war," He looked at Nikoli, "We're going to get some coats so we don't freeze to death like last time. We would hardly be of any use if we can't feel our extremities."

Aislin sighed, "I should go with the others to get coats if their still there when we get back... Want me to get you one to?"

Barrick smiled. "I'm usually topless half the time and you're asking me if I want a coat?" Barrick stated and chuckled. "Nah, It's okay, I'm alright without coats for now."

Aislin shook her head against his chest, as they reached the door, "I don't get why men do that... Wearing short pants in the middle of a snow storm... Sandals when it's below freezing... While women wear more layers, and we're still cold... If Aegina is going to come with us, she should come and buy a coat as well..."

"Yeah, you do that." Barrick said. "And invite that Mana person along too." Barrick told her. He didn't think it was safe to be left alone with Mana. Not for his own safety, but for Mana's.

Aegina managed to smile at that a bit. "They all fled the city or died in the fire. So I don't know where they aare." Aegina told him.
