Zero and Alpha were still off being vigilantes.

Kate grinned at Jin's embarrassment. Then she shook her head briefly, returning her concentration on memory. She was refusing to admit that she had already sort of began to trust Jin. Would not admit it. That was very, very stupid. She would not trust him. She... would not...
It was Sheo who was obsessed with cats. Kate was obsessed with handsome men.
"...Why don't you take off your visor?" Kate asked hesitantly. "To--you know--let me look at your eyes. They say it's easy to tell when someone's lying," Kate explained, to save face.

A man suddenly seemed to hit the sidewalk near Sayuri and the others, falling from a second story building. He got up and started to run.
"Get back here!" Zero yelled as he jumped from the window and ran after the man, taking him down.
