thanks seph; on the amount of militia, as explained every Teiravan soldier has about 0.1x the strenght of a stormtrooper, a.k.a. 1 million imps match 10 million "tevs" With the total capicity of the starships, a few million tevs can be moved at once, but with a whole galaxy as the battlefield, is it likely all ships will be send to one place at one time? No, of course not. A large part of the actual force stays on the home planets waiting to be thrown into battle, or to be used in case of planetary defense. (which doesn't mean they are all on one planet, in the same camp, and awake or anything. they are spread over an enourmous area, 7 systems including large planets)

Mr. Maniac Sycrause If Vegilla is a dictator I will gladly Heil to him. cool Umm...Maniac...The Universe is endless so unless a wall was made then there is more than 1/4 left undiscovered. I think Vegilla is trying to say that how could a planet which im sure is somewhere in the rim worlds, but im not sure where you exactly placed them could have built a fleet of a large size without anyone in the entire galaxy noticing despite if it was not in republic space, they would have some hint of the fleet being there because most 'Empires' like to know where there possible enemies are. Like im sure the Republic knows where the Imperial fleet is because they would have to make stops on planets once in a while to get supplies and they would be tracked on every move they made. Im not saying its not realistic that they built the fleet, but im saying that the Republic would have a hint of military presence in that area due to Merchants and other such people coming in from all over the galaxy. I mean it would be possible to build the fleet in that small time by pushing the work force to increase productivity by a payload which would also result in a high death occurence for the planet if you were using people to produce the ships. sorry, not universe, galaxy. Global galaxy map: ------------------------- ------------------------- .....----.-....-....---..-.. -............................. ................................ ................................. ............................... .............................. ............................... .=explored -=not explored Quite possible to be hidden; there are systems "explored and forgotten", even withing the known territories (like a few unexplored parsecs somewhere in the middlerim holding unknown planets) Several Large armies came from those unexplored terretories, it is not that unlikely Isnt' the Kessel system mostly unexplored? I mean, it is filled wiht black holes and al.

not really unexplored, well, those parts just can't be explored out of the danger, but the likeliness of any liveable planet to be there is relatively small... and if there is, the inhabitants probably can't get out (for the same reason explorers can't get in)
one of the systems in a jedi knight 3 mission was known but forgotten; a jedi master "cloacked" it with some device. Tough it was in explored areas, and if someone would come across he would see it in gravity shifts, it remained hidden for a many years. The imps eventually found it, but that was because it was still in the jedi archives which were stolen. A planet erased from the archives can easily be forgotten, that proves. (because noone but jedi knew of the existance until the imps stole the archive, and noone visited it, altho the location) that planet was "hidden" because the jedi found the people not ready to use the technology the republic had; that means all other planets in the republic did have quite an advanced tech before the republic came, yes, independantly...

Class M? Screw class M! Invade, Enslave, Destroy!! XD Well, I would have to agree with both you and Veggie. The likelyness of a system like your, isolated basicly, of ammasing such a large fleet is possible, but very slim. And its actualy quite possible for a an isolated system to be more advanced then the rest of parts of the galaxy. Mabey not technologicly, but in other ways. I htink the Chiss were and example, correct?

Im not disagreeing with what your saying, but im not going to agree that no one has stumbled across the planet.

Yes, people have stumbled across it, those pirates from the story rolleyes but besides them, noone, and that is very possible, so you have no reason not to agree on it. Or are you like veg, using the OOC knowledge because you can't stand not everything going to your plans? I hope not, one veg is more then enough.
