Heh, you guys should try living where I do. I swear we have the worst weather and weather predictions in all of Canada. Last week it was hot as hell. This morning it was -2 (this is all in Celsius, I don't know your crazy Fahrenheit system). In the winter the average temperature is -25 to -35 with the windchill. And this year we didn't have summer until this month, which I'll admit is pretty odd even for this weather anomaly of a city. June, July and half of August were cold like spring, and then this month it's been 25+ until today.
It sounds bad...and it is. But damn it we're prepared. When Toronto (or any other city) gets a foot of snow they're ********. They need the military to come shovel their roads because the city shuts down. When we get a foot and a half of snow we shrug our shoulders, wait a day and then the roads are clean.

@Kenny - Thanks for the the well wishes! heart I went to my family doctor today. I'm pretty much over the flu stuff. I just have a bit of tiredness left over from that. But my cough has worn my throat so that it's constantly sore. So, my family doctor gives me an expectorant get the junk up out of my chest. This is going to be painful. xp I really hope I can shake this cough soon because I'm planning on visiting my friends at my old college this weekend. (I transferred in January.)
@Skippy - That's some crazy weather! eek How could it go from 25 Celsius to -2 Cecilius in one day? And I thought that Alabama weather was crazy. You'll probably laugh at this but our sudden drop in temperature took us down to 70 degrees for the high (21 in Celsius) and 50 for the low tonight (10 in Celsius). As a point of comparison, it's been about 28 or 29 degrees most days recently. (I converted those temps for you.)

As a point of comparison, it's been about 28 or 29 degrees most days recently. (I converted those temps for you.) That's...YOU DON'T GET TO COMPLAIN ABOUT WEATHER ANYMORE! EVER! Well it wasn't a one day switch. Friday was really hot, but then on saturday and sunday it got colder and shitty, and monday wasn't nice either. But still, you go from about three weeks of very little rain and 25+ weather (It was no colder than 25 but probably averaged about 26-28 degrees) then in three days we get a day like today. Tomorrow we get a high of 16 and a low of 7, except like I said before, the people who do the weather predictions in Manitoba don't know a cloud from the inside of their a**. So I expect that prediction to be different tomorrow morning, and the forecast will probably change throughout the day. It seems like the guy who predicts the weather constantly forgets that clouds move. My old boss (he pays a lot of attention to the weather and forecast) always said that the weather in Winnipeg is ******** up. It's localized like crazy and there's no such thing as a happy medium. It's either hot as hell or cold as ********. His dad went to Alaska on a cruise (I can't remember when it was, probably fall or spring) and he came back and said "It was like 20 degrees there, you were right." when it was about 10 or lower here, and his son goes "I know I was right, the weather here is ********, and if it ever seems like I'm swearing a lot that would be for two reasons: 1. I work in the trades, and you get a mouth after a while. 2. I already had a mouth that would put a sailor to shame. So I am trying to hold back sometimes, hopefully no one's offended because of a few swears though.

Do I get to complain about the flooding we had last week? @_@ Our weather forecasts are pretty accurate. The way our weatherman gives the weather pretty much turns everyone into amateur meteorologists. lol
And about the swearing, I'm used to it. I personally don't swear, but I hear it so much that it don't phase me at all.

Well first off he doesn't even live in Winnipeg, and you can forget about being anywhere in Manitoba. He's in Quebec somewhere (either Montreal or Quebec city I guess). That's two ******** provinces over.He does it all based on the radar, which apparently he has no idea how to use. My boss would always say that if he ever met the guy (doesn't matter where) he would beat the s**t out of him, and I can't blame him. It's one thing to not get an accurate forecast when you work indoors all day and it really doesn't matter. But when you're outside doing anything really, you need to know what the weather is like.

Our weatherman lives about 30 miles away. I actually know him because his son went to high school with me. I guess I'm pretty lucky. biggrin
By the way, your avi suddenly makes me want to sing Monty Python's Flying Circus's Lumberjack Song. Do you know it?

I watched The Holy Grail the other day. And that was the point too. My friend decided to dress me because I'm a Canadian Lumberjack.

I love both of those. blaugh My favorite sketches are The Funniest Joke in the World, the Upper Class Twit of the Year, the Naughty Hungarian Phrasebook, Bicycle Repairman, and just about every other one that they ever aired. xd And since this is supposed to be an anime guild, I provide you with this for your enjoyment! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NwjBVggZT1o
