Well, that wasn't good. Either some kid was watching that "Namuto" show at full blast under the docks, or something wicked his way comes. Ryugi didn't bother to wait and find out before taking some preventative action. He gripped the handle of Ragnarok and began to pull in some energy for whatever creepy thing lay in wait under those creaky salty planks... [1]
It was then that he noticed the other person on the docks along with him.
Well, Miss. It appears we're in this fight together, eh? If I were you, I'd take some preventative measures... This thing sounded pretty nasty...

Asherah's fingers slowly crept up her hip and latched onto a small handle as creature gurgled. Her eyes narrowed, her lip curled, and her other hand pinched her nose. It stunk, horribly. Her ears perked up as the man spoke, her eyes then followed.
"What could it possibly be... An obese mermaid?" She said with a small giggle.
Pulling off the handle her fingers were laced about, she spun around a sai sword, which separated into two. One for either hand. Asherah looked back at the water and shook her head a bit.
"What's your name, if we're gonna fight together, might as well know each others names." She took a few steps back off the deck, she didn't feel safe there. "I'm Asherah. F.Y.I."

Madison wandered about, Damrius had ran off to Barton and she was still in Latent. She was listening to the little voice in her head, it was right...for the most part. At least it wasn't telling her to burn things. Her snow white ears flopped from side to side as she hopped along the side walk, yes she was hopping.
"Voice, Oh Voice...Where did you go?" She practically sang it amongst the crowds as she called out for it. And yet there was nothing, while folding her arms she continued to walk down the street. She was going to find it eventually.

}To Maximos and Ryugi: I'll be rping in here with yet another character, however not on the quest. To eliminate confusion. For the quest, my font will be blue, and otherwise, it will be purple. <3{
"Right here, right here. Oh how I've missed you so..." The girls voice chimed back at her.
Cheshire was laying down in an awning right in front of the girl. She on her stomach, her legs kicking in the air, her head rested on one arm, and the other dangled off just above the crowd. Her large, hallow eyes were fixed on the girl, they didn't move unless she did. Cheshire also had an ominous grin painted on her pale face, and it only seemed to grow bigger as the girl grew near.

Madison circled around in her place, she still did not see the voice, but she sure as hell heard it. Her ears twitched ever so slightly as she continued to listen for the voice. It was different now, that's for sure. Quickly the rabbit became frustrated and pouted very similarly to a small child. She wasn't enjoying this game very much at all.
"Where are you?" Her voice was much more sharp as she was already demanding answers to questions that she had been asking for quite sometime. Her sore ear irritated her further from the cut she had placed on it as it twitched about searching for that voice.

"The Cheshire cat. And you're a Bunny." She giggled darkly and leaped off of the awning, landing near the bunny lady.
Cheshire had to look up to make eye contact, this lady was very tall. Cheshire's long black hair covered her left eye as she looked up, white slits for pupils widened at the sight. Her grin grew wider.
"I've found your voice." Cheshire mimicked the ladies voice to a 'T'. "Want it back?"

Madison yelped and fell backwards as the cat like girl landed before her, she quickly adjusted her glasses as she looked at the cat girl. She was frightening, but what scared her even more was the sound of her own voice coming out of the feline's mouth.
"That's...Mine..." She stammered over her words as she continued to stare at her from the ground. That was weird, very weird. Slowly she raised to her feet and looked at the girl more closely, nearly inches away from her nose. With narrowed eyes, she began to examine the girl closely. Something wasn't write about her.
"How did you do that?"

Cheshire licked the ladies nose and giggled, her tail twitched about playfully as her ear focused.
"What. This? Laa~" She sung out in her voice, which ended in a giggle. "I don't know, I can just do it. But it seems you have your voice."
Rubbing her eyes with her over sized, purple, turtle necked sweater, Cheshire held out her hand after touching her mouth.
"But you can have it back if you want." She spoke in her real voice.
And of course there was nothing in her hand. Strange Cat.

Madison wrinkled her nose as she felt the wet sensation on it, that was weird. It almost even caused the little rabbit to sneeze, but she managed to hold it in. Once she could hear the cat portray her own voice, she applauded. That was a better singing voice than her own voice.
"That was very good" She was rather amused by the voice being able to do those sort of tricks. Once she was faced with the hand directed to her she peered closely at it and poked her fingers with her black gloved paws. There was nothing there.
"But....There's nothing.....I'm confused" She looked up at the cat with a rather confused look on her face. Poor girl, she was becoming even more baffled than before. And she was pretty confused before.
Do Not Leave Latent. The voice called out again, which caused the rabbit to quickly look around as though she were looking for where that voice was coming from. And yet there was nothing.
"THERE IT GOES AGAIN!" She stomped her feet in a frustrated fashion as though she were to throw a temper tantrum. With one quick deep breath in, she finally regain her calm state of mind. But yet, the cat was still there.

"Purrhaps that voice is in your head bunny lady..."
Cheshire tip toed up and attempted to touch of of the ladies ears carefully. She was curious to know if they were real or not. She didn't mean any harm, but she paused and snapped her head to the side as her tail brushed up against the girls leg.
"Bunny." Whispered Cheshire.

Her ears moved with the hands and gave a tug on the rabbits scalp. She finally jumped backwards when the tail touched her bare leg, causing her to tumble backwards once more. However, this time she managed to catch her balance with her glasses slowly sliding off her face.
Madi had then began to adjust her red jacket that covered her black tank top and then moved down to her black skirt. She then turned it ever so slightly to make things more centered. Finally, she pulled on her knee high black boots to prevent them from sliding. Once she stood back to her feet she adjusted her glasses and looked down at the cat. She was indeed rather cute.
"How can a voice be in your head unless if it's yours, silly." She smiled childishly at the cat as she used her own fingers as a brush from her layered red locks. As she brushed past her neck a black bar code was visible on the right side and was quickly gone as her hair fell back. She smiled at the cat and then reached for the cat's ears in return.
"It's very nice to meet you!" She then persisted to rub them slightly, she figured it was a welcoming or handshake. And after all, Madi didn't want to be rude.

I purr vibrated from her body as the lady pet her ears. It wasn't often that anyone touched her, let alone payed attention to her. Gently touching the lady's hand with both of hers, she nuzzled them and giggled.
"I have voices inside of my head that aren't mine, then again, I'm not your run of the mill girl." Stopping her from petting her any further, Cheshire held her hand. Grinning.
"I'll help you find it Bunny."

No, not a television show. And no, no mermaiden of monstrous girth, rather as the two traversed deeper and closer to the edge of the dock they would be able to see the silouhette of a figure, unaware of their presence slithering from beneath the docks into a standing pose.
It was tall...easily 10-12 feet tall. And from a distance looked like a shiny mess of seaweed, be that shinyness a bi-product of the water, or something else. It appeared vaguely humanoid, though the way it stood was shakey, unsteady, like a baby taking steps from the first time. It craned its neck outward, tiltings its head back and let out another, long loud armada of drowned chirps.
Silence filled the air save for the footsteps of the others ever closer. And the fell back onto its rump, its arms falling to either side, as its head leaned back against one of the support struts of the dock. Slowly, weakly, and most meloncholy a small moan escaped its.....self. Perhaps it was the sound of dragonsteel armor clinking, or a rather large sword rustling in its place. Maybe it was the sound of sai swords swirling and slicing the air, or gentle feet pressing through the sand. Either way, no matter how, it sensed them. The creatures head immediately turning to face both adventures, a deep green glow emerging from where its "eyes", should have been. Though in the shadow of the dock, the details of the beast were unknown. It took a low stance, as if ready to retreat at a moments notice, or sign of danger from either adventurer.

Asherah's eyes almost doubled in size as the creature surfaced, and in instinct, she took a defensive stance. But seeing it walk, seeing it fall back like it did, it caused her to ease up and move toward the man slowly. Her sai swords where still firmly grasped in her hands however, no matter how the creature seemed frightened, it could strike at any moment. It was an unknown variable in Asherah's book, and she wasn't about to take any chances...yet.
"What is it?" She whispered gently to herself, but more so towards her fighting partner. "Should we...help it?"
Standing up straight, Asherah squinted and leaned forward a bit, her eyes had yet to get used to the lighting of this hour, they'd be fine soon.
"I mean.. It looks.. sad..."

No... Not sad... Scared... It looks wounded or tired, perhaps out of energy. I don't believe it means us any harm, but I believe if we provoke it, it will attempt to defend itself from a perceived threat...
Sheath your weapons, and take a submissive stance. Let it know we mean it no harm. I'm Ryugi by the way...Ryugi softly allowed his energy to fade away, sheathed Ragnarok at his back, and took up a position with his hands open and slightly off to his sides, allowing the creature to see that he was unarmed and not a threat. He then spoke softly, as if cooing to a baby to calm it. Its alright... We won't hurt you... Are you injured?
Ryugi spoke in Draconic. It was a language more creatures and animals knew than common human languages, afterall, it was MUCH older. With any luck the creature would understand him. If not, well, he could try human speak, but something told him that wouldn't work as well.
