Kira took vadin by the hair and threw him over so he landed ontop of bakura. "dont touch me." she said than looked to ryou.

Ryou lifted his head slowly and looked towards Kira. He had stopped crying, and now took Kira's head gently in his hands, tilting it down so that he could kiss her forehead. "Be careful..." He murmured, and before he could give her a chance to comment on this, sent both her and Bakura's souls back into their own bodies, back in the hospital.

Kira groaned softly.Bakura had used up the rest of her energy contacting them with vadin.She leaned back in the chair closing her eyes.

"So?" Asked a harsh voice that could, at first, be mistaken as Bakura's. Instead, Khalid glared at Kira. "Did you sell your soul to the demon? Promise Vadin your ever-lasting loyality?" He snorted in disgust, eyes narrowed. This was odd, since neither Kira nor Bakura had told Khalid the name of the demon holding Ryou. Also, from before, Vadin had spoken Khalid's name with the same form of disgust Khalid's expression held as he mentioned the demon.

"No bakura sold his loyalty...I just sold my sold...I wouldent be loyal to the son of a b***h if he froze over...oh....and if you sudenly wake up with bullet holes in you blame me..bakura has it comming.." she still had her eyes closed leaning back in the chair "how do you know vadin?"

Khalid's eyes widened as he saw his mistake and asked in fake innocence, "Vadin? He's that demon who's got Ryou captive, right? Er... Bakura told me."
Bakura called out angerily from his soul room.

Khalid snorted, seeing no way out of this, and folded his arms over his chest. "I made a deal with him as well. I know exactly who he is, what he's capable of, and how much trouble Ryou is in. Hell, now that you've made a deal with the b*****d and are about to let him roam free in the living world, I know how much trouble we're all going to be in. That is, if he hadn't changed in these past ffew hundred years."

"Can't." Khalid said firmly, then realized that Bakura could go diving through his memories, since they shared a body, and Kira with her Millennium Eye. He sighed. "Fine. It's the reason why I am really about a thousand years old and how Vadin got a hold of Ryou in the first place. I won't give you all the details, but this is pretty much it: I was given pretty much eternal life, unless I ended it myself, and was put up for Shadi's position. Vadin will, of course, gain my soul when I choose to end my life, but I must go around, using the powers of Fate I have and the Millennium Items, and find suitable people. I am to become a part of their group, and then use my powers to sacrifice one to Vadin. So I indirectly made Bakura go in a trance and be full of an urge to do... things to Ryou, including the drugs. Remember how Ryou died in the first place? I planted ideas in Bakura and Atem's minds to have them duel like that. Yugi was never to die," Khalid laughed, really getting into the mood of this. "As I had you believe. It was always Ryou. I messed up in not tainting his soul enough to send him to Hell. So that was why I helped him come back into the mortal world. I will admit that it was hard to play along, act like I was in a relationship with Ishizu to be close to this group, and accept some of the things Bakura would do to me, but it all worked out, didn't it? Ryou is with Vadin, another little offering of mine to him."

That pissed kira off greatly.He was the reason ryou had been in so much pain "So If I shoot you..you'll still live?" she inquired.Even if he dident live she still planned on shooting him.

Khalid laughed again. "Of course. Didn't you just hear what I said?" He arched an eyebrow at Kira, his expression becoming colder than it had ever been. "I. Am. Emortal."
Bakura was in a stunned silence. He hadn't really killed Ryou, none of those times. He had never really wanted to do harm to Ryou, not to that level. He knew that now, as his mind cleared. This had all been set up by Khalid. Everything. A feeling of utmost sickness swept over him as he recalled everything he had done to Ryou, only to find that it had been because of Khalid. Sure, he had sensed something dark within the man, but he had assumed that it was just the natural darkness that came with the Millennium Items. Bakura's voice was faint, almost pleading.

Khalid only laughed at this pain. "Do you think that after how long I've been around this is supposed to hurt?" He asked, flashing a grin at Kira. "I choose what I do and don't feel... Another part of the deal I must have forgotten to mention to you, hm?" He glanced up in alarm when the door opened.
Ishizu, who had found out by Atem that Khalid had been taken to the hospital (since Khalid had contacted the pharaoh with a mind link before), had come to the hospital to see him. She looked a little surprised to see Kira there, but noticed Khalid bleeding the next moment. While Khalid could or couldn't feel something, his body still reacted. Ishizu cried out in alarm and hurried over to the side of the bed, glaring suspiciously at Kira when she saw the gun in her friend's hand. "Khalid... Wh-what happened? Did Kira shoot you?" She looked to her lover's face when there was no answer. "Khalid? Tell me! Please..."
