Tac spotted Nyx returning, "Nyx, you can still do that thing that takes stuff from outside the Brink, right? Like radishes or paintball equipment." He pauses for moment, merely remembering old times, "Like...would it be too much trouble to get a chocolate cake?"

Tac cleared his throat a bit, glancing to Cora before looking back to Nyx, "Well, uh, before we were interupted during diner, Cora and I were about to have some cake. Plus, cake is more awesome than anything."

:::Cora's recalls her first taste of cake, and though it was indeed an experience to compete with all others...she wasn't sure if it was more awesome than anything. Yet when she couldn't think of a counter argument for his statement, she decided to just smile and nod:::

... No it's not really, but whatever, sure. I haven't made anything bigger than a pen appear on purpose in a while, so I'm really out of practice. I don't know what impact it'll have on me... but it's just a little cake. Shouldn't be too bad as long as I do it right.
::Nyx took a breath and sunk down into her seat, looking down at the space on the table in front of her. She shut her eyes, and sat there for a moment very quietly, deep in concentration.::
::And then she fell out of her chair.
...Actually, the chair fell with her.::
::Snort.:: Okay. So I can't do it.

She finally woke up from a corner on the floor, having blinked out and then faded back in some time ago. As if too tired, sad, or disappointed -or just all of those -she sat up, not even close to being as frantic as before. Slowly she began to look around for someone...
Seeing one person at the bar, she made to move toward him, but thought about how other people probably couldn't, or didn't want to, help, and went for the door instead. She traced her hand down the door slowly, wondering where Audyhnnh was at the moment, what he was doing, and if she was ever going to see him again.
Pausing for a minute, she starts knocking on the door -or BANGING on it, quite loudly, as though trying to find a way out.

Tac rushed over to Nyx to help her up along with Cora, feeling a bit guilty, "Nyx, you ok?"

Eheh. ::Nyx gratefully accepted the help up. She brushed herself off.:: I'm okay. Hell, falling out of my seat is a lot better than fainting all the time. ::She smiled at Cora.:: Sometimes trying to manipulate things in The Brink can be... difficult, if you don't do it right. And obviously I didn't do it exactly right.
One time, I accidentally gave myself cat ears and a tail. That sucked.

That door does lead back, Selurnis. Back to where you came from. Back to what you were. Are you willing to do that? What if I said that you could stay here and be normal again... forever? And all you had to do was to never go back?
