Another important thing is that if your a beginner drummer. I think you should get a used drum set, it's a lot cheaper of course and many are in great condition. Or just buy a drum set seperately like I said up there such as buy a snare one time and then buy a crash cymbal the next.
If you want to buy a drum set then I think you should get a Pearl Forum or Export, mostly a Pearl Forum or a Tama Rockstar (now they're called Tama Superstar I think since they've replaced the Rockstar ones with Superstars now. Or you could get a Rockstar Custom (not sure if it's called a Superstar custom) but it's a little expensive (it has some better features to it). As for cymbals: I think you should get a Sabian, yes I know that Zilgian makes awesome cymbals but Sabian is just as good, and it's a lot more affordable especially if your just beginning to play. Another thing is that Sabian keeps making higher quality products every year. You could also try for a Yamaha Stage Custom but it's at least 800 or 700 something dollars which is quite a lot. When I got my Yamaha Stage Custom, I got it for at least $845.00 and that was from a christmas present from my parents. I had a good six years with it and this year I recently sold it and got a very nice amount of money back for it so I used it to buy a snare for my drumsets that are put together now.
I think if your an entry-level drummer then you should get a Tama Swingstar, Pearl Forum, Premier Cabria, Ludwig Accent, Mapex Venus, Yamaha DB, all of those drums listed are great for new beginners who need a drumset under $500.00.
Now if you want cymbals, I think you should get a Zilgian ZBT, Sabian B8 or Paiste 502. They're affordable, though I'm not sure if a ZBT is a good cymbal to use.
For drumsticks, I own at least a dozen pairs of drumsticks, half I can't even find. Get 5A if your a beginner; Vic Firth's make awesome, awesome drum sticks and drumsticks are usually $5.00 to even more.

I think you should get a Sony or something. I don't really know, but I'll try and get back with you once I get more information. If you want speakers you should probably get some from Peavey, Crown, Roland, Studiomaster, EV, Soundtech ect; those are some of the brands I know and use that work well for me.

Damn those posts have got to be the biggest ones ever that you've made, Ace.
Since we're on the topic of drum sets, I'll tell you about a good drum set that I used to own. I used to own a Pearl Forum, that I got for $570.00 American which was the most I could afford at age 15.
Here is my review on it:
It was my first drum set of course and you may think tuning a drum set is hard but with this set after the 4th or 5th try I got the hang of tuning it. Of course I had to experiment with the tuning so I could get the right sound for me, the right sound depends on everyone. Some people like a high-pitch sound out of their drum set others like a low sound. It depends on the person of course.
The hardware on this kit has been very good to me. The bass pedal which was a P-100 is an amazing pedal to use. The hi-hat stand was a very sturdy oneas was the boom stand. The one problem I had was with the tom mounts, they were a pain in the a**. They're pretty d*** big and so it took awhile to tighten them. If I walked by my drum set and accidentally bumped into the tom, then they would be misplaced so I had to go back to tighten them up again stressed sweatdrop
The cymbals were alright but they weren't my favorite ones at all. I did enjoy them then again they were my only cymbals I had at age 15. Personally I'd rate it about a 8.5 but it would a lot better if you got a Tama Stagestar.

Here is my second review on a Mapex-M that I currently own which my son has totally made it his. Wasn't my fault that he stole my drum sticks and started to play on it. Now he won't let me near it, well little kids have to start somewhere, eh? Anyway, here is the picture of the Mapex-M: I bought my Mapex-M fusion drum set when I was 19 and I must say it has got one amazing sound to it. The toms on this drum set are awesome but the snares are very loud (not that it's bad) but I've had to turn my snares to a medium tension sound. Many of it's features is that it has some nice drum shells that have one of the most finest wood I've ever seen. In my opinion is a lot cheaper than a TAMA Rockstar, Pearl Export, or Sonor 2003.
