Anonymooo C. Fox Ive been invited to like 4 anime conventions, but they dont have my kind of anime...my Hajime No Ippo kind of anime. Damn i lovin this every minute. LIVER BLOW! xd ******** LOVE Hajime no Ippo. Swear to God, it's the most intelligent fighting series I've ever seen. 3nodding Yeah, i mean, no offense to the rest, but i dont know how this GREAT anime isnt aired on tv and the mangas arent to be found, when crap like naruto is aired and tons of drama and ******** both gay and straight)mangas are ******** everywhere. There are also other action and fighting animes, but theyre all about swords and demons and a dumb mixture of guns and ninjas and skanky women.

Shouyin It, makes me happy to do, by nature it never hits though. = D~ Don't get me wrong--I love the Dempsey Roll, especially Ippo's monstrous version of it. But I gotta say, it makes sense that Ippo's sealed the technique, and is instead polishing himself up for the world stage (while Scratch-J, y'know, punches him in the head repeatedly with Kami no Ichigeki). And I've read up to... volume 14 of Berserk, Clash. I really should read more of that. xd

@ Clash: Haven't touched it, plan on watching the anime sometime.

Steve Fox is much more than just 'dempsey rollin' and hookin'.
Steve Fox is like the 2nd greatest thing that happened to the entire Tekken series. And i didnt even know Bruce came first in Tekken 2. Using bruce makes me feel ong bak-ish, which is frigging awesome.

They see that it's boxing (which is a ridiculously technical sport) and then automatically have a bias against it, since liking sports is not in the anime-nerd creed whatsoever. Personally, I do like Naruto and other more fantasy-based fighting series, but it's tough for me to find a series that has as much heart and smarts as Ippo, with the only other series that even comes close being the ridiculously brilliant One Piece, which I hope also lasts for 75+ volumes. What really surprises me about Ippo in general is that it never got boring, even after, yes, 75+ volumes. xd

He's basically my favourite Tekken 5 character, though the top-tier stuff makes him rather easy to enjoy. Heihachi and Eddie (Christie as a black guy) cut close seconds, just 'cause Mishimas are badass by nature and capoeira is really stylish.
Never really liked Bruce though, probably the character design or something.

Saw that a month or two ago I think. Kraun and Reiko were talking it up so I downloaded a sub.
Best Jet Li movie I've ever seen. ^^"
Hero would probably be a close second, though Unleashed was more vicious.

Shouyin World stage, Scratch-J? I've only ever seen the anime, manga's way too huge for me to get into. Remember Jimmy Sisfa? Guy who fought Miyata in Thailand and was practically murdered by the Jolt Counter? Yeah. He's got a lot of scars on his face now, and he's a really scary guy calling himself Scratch-J now. He uses a version of the Jolt Counter (where all your weight is put on the ball of your advancing foot), but uses it as an offensive move, and has named it "Kami no Ichigeki" or "Single Strike of God." xd

Anymoo: No wonder i hate the majority of those anime nerds -_-. Ippo is brilliant in anyways. I love martial arts, so i love (real full contact) combat sports. I watch boxing every freaking time its on, so i find ippo brilliant in any way. There should be MMA animes, you know. Sure there are other martial arts anime, but so far i havent seen one as real and intelligent as Ippo.
Shouyin: Problem with Bruce is that hes damn ugly. They shouldve had some Thai dude like Tony Jaa. Hell they got Jackie Chan. And i dont like most of Law attacks. Even if he looks like Bruce Lee and does some Bruce Lee posing when he wins. And im getting tired of the Mishimas. I dont like their fighting style, but atleast i like Heihachi for his attitude and character in general. And Eddie/Christie is so much fun to use.
Kellindel: I saw that poster somewhere in the net, but i have no idea when is that movie coming out or if it came out. And its great to see Jet Li like a monk again.

Ippo's gonna own his a**. You'd like Fearless. Back when Europe and America had pretty much annexed China, forcing them to trade. They can't crush the Chinese spirit because of their belief in their martial arts so they set up a tournament to prove their fighting styles are superior.
