The wind pulled at her, and her broom bit into her sternum from how tightly she was pressed to it. Ariana would get to the snitch first, all Shina could to was hope the girl missed, and Shina could grab it out from under her.

Ada frowned when her steal attempt failed and the Ravenclaw got to make his shot at the goal. Luckily, Jarlath saved, so he didn't score. And, before Ada could bother lining up to try and catch a pass from the second year, she noticed Ariana reaching out... and coming back with the snitch! Ari caught the snitch! They'd won! Ada had scored a goal and Ari caught the snitch and they won! "Game's over, guys, Ariana caught the snitch!"

The blonde gave a triumphant little cheer before flying back down to the ground, not really sure what she was going to do about her leg. She guessed that Dhyl was going to have to help her to the hospital wing again, or something like that. She was the first of her team back to the ground, though she didn't dismount, hovering and tucking her broken leg (with a fair amount of pain) across her lap so that at least it wasn't dangling and pulling. "Way to go, guys!" she cheered, her eyes wide and excited. With that victory... barring a triumphant return on the part of Gryffindor or Slytherin, the badgers might just take the cup this year!

Crash was nervous, but the adrenaline coursed through his veins and jitters wormed up and down his muscles. Still, he didn't know why he had made the first string over Minn, but he wouldn't let his teammates down. And really, this wasn't toi much different from American football... Just less tackling and more flying. Too bad, too, he was starting to think a little tackling might actually help with their temperament, but, the bludgers were there for that, right? He swallowed a dry lump in his throat and moved out onto the field with the rest of his team and Ronna's broom clutched in his sweaty palm. Hundreds of people flooded the stands, the cheering roared and the sun glared in his eyes. But, where were his teammates?

Rick got onto the pitch and blinked. Huh. He would have thought that he was going to be the last one here, and he was the first. Blinking, the older boy set his broom to the side and began to do stretches. Well, if nothing else, he needed to get loosened up. He did nod at his brother, and found it ironic. Both of them were vice captains for their teams in this year. Except, he was taking over the Ravenclaw team next year while Jacob had to wait. Well, he wished his brother the best of luck, in any case. He was going to make sure that the Gryffindors had a heck of a time scoring today.
