Sam smiled "if Ace wants to make an enemy, I'll be happy to oblige" he said and turned back to Cobra and Gloryr and and scowled lightly, a solemn expression replacing his typically blissful smile "Just say the word and for the right price I'll kill 'im." he said and smiled again "and that's our difference, took you a while to see it but; I kill for money and personal gain, you've killed, and do note my use of Past Tense, You've Killed for... err... possessed blood lust?" he said and chuckled lightly "and that much I know, But with enough help from my two best friends in the world, my rifle, and a bottle of Whiskey, I'll get through it. Some how. But all the aside, I agree. What good is a soldier without orders?" Sam said and began following Cobra and Gloryr. As they walked Gloryr spoke up and Sam looked at him "hell if I know, I hear she's some kind of Princess." he said and shook his head "I'll believe it when I see it." he added. When everyone was in the same room, Sam slowly fiddling with his belt and becoming slightly claustrophobic and jumped back as Ace put a hole in the wall and yelped lightly. He stepped back when Ace turned to everyone and shook his head 'I'll be damned if I understand whats just happened but damn... that's just a little odd...' he thought and finally piped up, after everyone finished talking "it is serious apparently, we're gonna go storm the gates of a castle." he told Ace and turned to Allure "speaking of which, we need to go over a strategy." he said and crossed his arms "and I still need a set of bullets for my new rifle, otherwise I'm useless on the field." he added and leaned back.

All this talk about pasts really clicked to Havessa. At least they know theirs. She let out another sigh and turned her attention to the prominent and more important issue at hand. DeLeon. Since no one really seemed to know what they were going to do, it was time to get some information straight.
"Allure." Havessa began, since the others only cared about bickering over trivial things. "Do you know how many troops our enemy has?" This of course was greatly important. Havessa began to speak a little louder. "First things first, we need to know as much as possible about our enemy. We should aim to have no surprises when we take action." Cobra clearly didn't seem to be stepping up in a leadership role at this point, and Havessa felt as though everyone just relied on Allure far too much. It was her turn to come out from the background to play her part. "Schematics, patrol schedules, abilities, important figures, we need to know anything and everything. Once we have this, then we can formulate a plan. Havessa understood now. She wasn't just in the wrong place at the wrong time and deemed guilty by association, but rather, she was one of them. She always has been, and that's why she was drawn to the group in the streets, because she belonged there.

Sam cocked an eyebrow "Schemata-wha?" he said and turned to face Havessa "that's all fine and dandy, love, but I say we take this one step at a time." he added and turned back to Allure "though I am curious, just what the hell are we up against?" he said and lowered his head.
((This is the 1700's Havessa, Nobody knows the term "Schematic". Just a little reminder. I get chewed out all the time for using a modern vocabulary in my D&D campaign))

((I'll incorporate that into the rp then, thanks. It works because Havessa IS from the future.))
Havessa turned to Sam. "Schematics...maps of buildings...wait...where do I know that?" Havessa was now confusing herself as well. It was a word she's never heard of before that she can remember, then again, she had forgotten her entire life except for the past five years that she's lived in France. It seems, she tends to contain knowledge not yet known to this time. Bringing a hand up to her forehead, she cringed in frustration. "Damn memory loss." She muttered to herself. Knowing certain things were like riding a bike, once you learn, you never truly forget. Or learning to talk, once you learn, it becomes instinct, you just do it. It's the same way as her knowledge when it comes to a definition. But she carries no memories of her experiences. She shook it all off before replying. "No, this is something we need to know before we even formulate a plan to get Allure back her kingdom." It's clear to Havessa that Sam doesn't harbor much intuition and knowledge on tactics in warfare.

((since I'm not going to be posting much during the week I'll just have Yuuske disappear for the next two days.. I'll have him back to take everyone to Lyon on saturday, friday for most of you.. I'm not much for group briefings anyway..))
Yuuske stood up and walked back towards the portal, but stopped when he came close to Allure. "I'm going to prepare the Base for everyone's arrival, I have some supplies in another country which we can use, if you can fill me in, or at least have someone else fill me in, that would be great." He said before bowing and entering the portal which closed shortly after.
((it'll be a time skip sort of thing so I'm not going to explain the set up until he takes everyone there... it'll give me a chance to figure out exactly how it will be set up.. if there's anyone who knows anything about history and what technology existed in 1742 please pm me, and if there's any specific things you want in there also send me a pm, I'll talk it over with Allure and see if it can be put in, I'll be checking my pm's both days so I won't be missing your messages))

"Interesting...", Cobra thought as he watched Ace's attitude change so quickly..."...it's almost like he was possessed for a short while himself, to the point where he can't even recall what he had done until he broke free of it. Never seen that before...then again, so few have actually experienced those memories." Cobra was lost in thought for several minutes as everyone else began discussing what would be done. What was clear however was that the group was not ready. The warriors were ready to go in and fight of course, but several others were looking for plans of attack and machines and drawings...some semblance of a war plan. Things like this were developed once they were there however, not from a distance when they have no information.
"I do not know about anyone else, but I've certainly had my fair share of infiltration into heavily guarded areas. This is not something that will happen in a day. Once we are through that portal, we need to understand whats going on, scout out the castle, maybe even get an informant in Raphael's service. We will have to find residence, and then see if we can quietly rally support to our cause and begin an underground movement. We won't be able to take a castle by force of arms...we'll never have those numbers. We need to be able to destroy Raphael from the inside out, taking out the vital parts of his reign before making a final attack. This is espionage, not war...we don't have the numbers or resources for war.
Cobra watched as Yuuske said his piece and moved through the portal closing it behind him. He was a little confused as he thought they would be leaving immediately, but was relieved to see he would have some time to heal and prepare. Cobra then turned to Ace inquisitively and was careful that he was out of accidental touch range of everyone else in the room...he didn't want a repeat of what Ace had experienced..."So Ace...you don't remember anything at all about being angry with me, or touching my arm?...or even putting that armor on? Because I have a very clear recollection of what you were doing and saying around those times. In fact, it would be hard for me NOT to remember."

"I've no idea what you're talking about at all, Cobra. Why would I even be mad at you? You just saved our lives by killing Salem.. He said himself: ' If this monster within me is let loose, the whole city will die'
I find it rather weird that I'm wearing this armor..though. I'd wear it on the day I'd .... And, It was hidden in Vash's castle. I must've gone trough the city to get there. How come no one noticed me?"
Ace was confused. What happened to him? Why was he wearing the armor that he'd wear on the day he would kill his father, and become the new king of the fire kingdom?
Why would he be mad at Cobra. What was wrong with Cobra's arm. And what did Ace say, that Cobra would never forget?
"What happened?" He asked.

Cobra hesitated to answer for a second, but then figured that everyone should really know about his past if they were going to trust him to accompany them on a mission..."Well, my arm is disabled by the power that I had to use to help shut that thing inside Salem away. The sword I carry is actually a rather evil cursed artifact, though it's origin I'm not entirely aware. Needless to say however, with it's hilt buried and fused into my spine...it is bound to me and corrupted me for many years. The acts that I carried out during those dark times were rather atrocious, far beyond those of the typical "In it for the money" assassin. I was not fully myself, but I was not fully possessed either."
..."When I escaped from an assassination attempt on my own life from my own agency however, I was found nearly dead in a forest by someone who changed my life. Over time, I was able to calm my soul and take control of the blade so that it no longer has any power over my will or consciousness. Using it's power's however still requires a sacrifice on my part. The blade thirsts for blood and if I do not supply it, it will take mine until it is satisfied. So when I invoke it's power, it deadens my arm and feasts on the blood that would be supplied to it for several days and creates a bruised and purplish look over the entire right half of my body, in glyphs which I have no translation for. It also bears an unfortunate side affect of bringing up old memories constantly in my mind, as if the blade wants me to remember the most atrocious and terrible deeds it has committed, many of them my own, but sometimes those of past wielders."
Cobra then turned to Ace to more specifically answer his question, "It is unfortunate, but while I'm in the bruised/cursed state, anyone who touches the affected areas gains uncontrollable flashes of those same memories in rapid succession. it is very jarring, and when you touched my arm, it made you dizzy and you started acting a little crazy and ran yourself into a wall. After that, I tried to explain myself, but you were unwilling to accept that I could change...you said "Once a murderer, always a murderer" and that you could never accept me as a changed person and that you wanted nothing to do with me. After which you stormed off and the next I saw you, you were wearing that armor and were ready to depart for the Snow kingdom."
Cobra then turned back to the general assembly, "I am sorry for keeping this from all of you, but you must understand my reasoning. Most people are shocked at my past and rightfully so, but it does me no good to tell people before they've seen the changed man that I am. If you are really curious, you can touch my arm and see my past...but I warn you, it will NOT be pretty."
((Anyone who opts to touch the arm will receive a PM with what they see. Several images may be different depending on what the sword decides to show, but I figure it would be an interesting flavor thing to do that would back up my story and make it interesting. totally optional though.))

Ace remembered again. He was about to grab his swords.. But he didn't. "My appologies...Cobra.. It's just that you reminded me of my father. I must've gone berserk. That's most likely why I'm wearing this armor too...
I've been keeping this armor in a chest for a while now. I recieved it when I turned 18. When I became a man. Unfortunately for my father, this man had different thoughts than him. That's why I got sent to that camp. That's why I'm here now. This armor, would be the last thing my father sees.
I'm sorry if I have done anything that I shouldn't have. I can't help it. I just can't stand that man. Normally I can remain calm..But.. Something must've snapped. I had no idea what I was doing.."
"I haven't finished that armor yet either, I'm sorry."

Cobra's offer to share his past with everyone else was something...odd. Havessa hesitated, she didn't want the memories of him getting confused with the memories she is slowly uncovering. Havessa's mind itself was rather fragile in that sense, and she doesn't realize it. "Perhaps, another time for myself Cobra." She muttered towards him lightheartedly with only a half smile on her face. "Well it's decided then, we move out of this hide-out first, and formulate a plan when we reach our next destination." Havessa got a chill down her spine. Something didn't feel quite right. This is something that should be planned out well in advanced, not something decided as they went along. A knot welled inside her stomach, but she ignored it waiting for an agreement or disagreement from the others.

Ace shook his head. "I can't go now.... I have to know what awaits us. Besides, We still need to finish the armor. And I believe Sam needed bullets."
(( Frsrs. Ace needs to get rid of that armor. But he's no idea that he left the chest at Olivia's. Any suggestions on how he can find out, and put his armor back in the chest? PM please. ))

"The portal is closed anyways...we aren't going anywhere until he comes back. It will give us time to prepare whatever we need, but what we have here isn't much. We don't know anything about the current situation in the land and it will take time to figure that out. There is only so much we can do and prepare for here in the sewers."
Cobra leaned up against the back of the wall and looked overly tired with the meeting they were having as a sigh passed his lips..."I submit that getting to Lyon should be our first step. We can be ambiguous enough with our arrival. I'm sure the area has travelers. From that position we can then assess what we need to do and get the job done. That is at least, my opinion. I am not the one in charge though..."

Sam shook his head "give me some time to... cultivate... my abilities and I can assure you that I can scout out the entire city in minutes." he said and took a step up, as if climbing stairs "I've been working out manipulating my own weight to do... well... this." he added and shrugged "if I can find the proper altitude I can literally... fly..." he said and crossed his arms as he drifted slowly back to the floor. He turned to Cobra and cocked an eyebrow "I think the best course of action would be not to appear in the city itself, but outside, in a concealed area. Like a forest." he said and looked to Ace "and again, I need ammunition. Otherwise I'll wind up flattening the city..." he added.

Allure was simply standing near where a the portal once was. Indeed, they'd wait for Yuuske's return ashe prepared the base. She decided to inform them of what she recalled about DeLeon.
"Know that my knowledge isn't much, especially now. Last I'd been at Mount Blanche, Aria, my dear friend and ally, informed me of some of what had gone on.
Somehow, Raphael allied witht he Fire Tribe, the DeLeon Kingdom's enemy. With their aid, the force they have is immensely powerful. Those of DeLeon that fight are not a number of many. It's a small kingdom. There are about 80 fighters and only ten of which are truely formidable for any of us on a one-on-one fight. Those that are nobles like Aria and those higher in the kingdom[Raphael/Allure] were all taught skills beyond that of our knights as they were the ones that needed to stay alive or the kingdom would fall apart. Luckily, I believe, they do not match my strength. Not even Aria does so that should provide some relief I hope.
The remaining 70 or so are skilled in swordsmanship greatly and fight with percision. However, their actual elemental ability and control mostly limits to their weapon unless they're element is within range. For the ice, it will be in range most likely.
For the fire, there are about 300. None of which hold immense power like the 10 of the ice. They fight wildly to say the least. It's been said that they would even harm their own men for a kill. I know not if it's true. Still, they are also limited to their weapons and fight with their element if theirs something around to use.
Neither can create without some form of their element nearby so that may prove our advantage. We will meet with Aria before we strike without a doubt and should would carry more accurate facts."
