Uriel goes and sits down on the bed, suddenly feeling wearied, "it doesn't matter if it's not my fault, it's still who I am. Demonic energy has made me everything I am. Do you know what my parents looked like? They were both blond, with brown eyes." he shakes his head a bit, not wanting to bring this conversation anywhere near his parents, and wishing he hadn't let that little fact out of his mouth, "Everything about me is evil, is sin. From the moment I was conceived, I was on a path to Hell."

"But why?" Orient demands, frustrated. "You didn't do anything to deserve this. You didn't ask for this at all!"

"I am what I am though. Just being a purple... I'm a child of the devil, of demons, not god. There's nothing good about me."

Orient sits down beside him. "I don't care what you think, I don't believe a single thing you told me, because all of your actions speak other wise about you. Do you think Kyo would have let you live if you were what you just said you were?"

Uriel sighs, "Kyo lets me live because I don't do actions that he kills purples for. Most blues kill purples for being purple. Besides, it's not up to him whether I go to heaven or hell."

Orient slings his arm over Uriel's shoulder gently. "I told you, I don't believe what you said. I know what you're like. And it's nothing like you described."

"You don't understand then." Uriel replies simply. The boy understands all too well his situation, and if he can't get it across to Orient, well, that doesn't change the situation itself a bit.

Orient brings his hand down Uriel's cheek. "I want you to know that it doesn;'t make a difference to me. I like you for who you are, not what you could have been."

Orient shakes his head. "Nothing you say will convince me of that." he says. "Since I was the one forced to slay that true purple, when we found you."

"I'm jus' as much a purple as him." Maybe even moreso, as he's been one all his life, and the dark energies in him had even defined his appearance.

Uriel sighs a little, and leans against Orient, feeling weary after all that arguing, especially since he feels like he hadn't gotten anywhere trying to explain himself.

He really hadn't though, because Orient is stubborn like that. "So will you please keep the clothes?" he asks.

"You can keep the clothes." Uriel replies, as he doesn't want them to be in his possession, "I just want the cloak."
