Meta_Fish I dunno. I was so disappointed with RSE, and then DP didn't look much better... I think I've had my fill of Pokemon and HGSS satiated my Pokehunger for the time being. I'd rather get some fun new games than Pokemon 5. Dude, I barely played TvsC before selling it. It's basically the same thing as any MvsC or Street Fighter, except you don't recognize half the characters. If you have other people to play with, that might be cool, but I didn't know anyone at all who ever played it, and it gets boring quickly when you play alone, plus the fact that you have to learn how to play via memorizing the long-a** combos on the title screen menu really blows. The biggest reason why I'd recommend you don't get it, though, would be that you're about to get the 3DS and SSFIV, which I'm sure tons of people are going to be into just because it's 3DS. Fossil Fighters looks fun, but it also looks like the kind of game people play when they have a Pokehunger and no Pokemon to satisfy it with. I dunno. Just sayin'

For what it's worth, TvC is easily the most accessible capcom vs game, but that's not saying a whole lot.

On the exterior, I can see why you'd think they were the same, but if you try to get intimate with the fighting system, MvC1 and 2 are really a lot more convoluted than they should be. MvC3 simplified it some, but it's still pretty complicated. Oh well. I guess that's what fighting fans usually want in the first place.

The highlight of my time playing it was figuring out how to switch team members at will. xd At least they're gradually making it simpler, but jeez. Any fans who want all that complicated crap are nuts. Fighting games should allow up to four players, have lots of room to move around in, have fun items and not require you to memorize anything too much more complex than like Down+A. razz

Power Stone fits that description too, but I can't think of any other fighting games that do. Do you know of any?

I remember that on the Cult Cast someone was reviewing a game that tried to be like Brawl. I think it was like a TMNT game?
