Weepinbell and Zangoose attacked Ginji with various arrays of attacks as he tried to find room to send out a Pokemon. His Lucario appeared as he tossed the ball out. Lucario shrugged as it launched an Aura Sphere and the attacking Zangoose, being wary of the Aura of the Pokemon. Weepinbell sprung at Lucari and digested it with Gastro Acid, inflicting the virus on the unsuspecting fighting type. Lucario screamed with fear as its vision was clouded by the darkness. With a roar, it let loose a Black Aura Sphere, hitting Zangoose again, knocking it to the ground. Ginji wasted no time to catch the Pokemon with the Shaids Ball. He wished he could help his friend, but it would take time. "Lucario! Snap out of this rampage!" he yelled as the now dark purple Pokemon sat down as Ginji recalled it.

Weepinbell attacked Ginji this time with a Vine Whip, burning his skin with a black scorch. He growled as he grabbed the vines that were wrapped around it arm and hurdled Weepinbell into a nearby rock formation. Ginji's Shadow Natu appeared on the scene to do damage with a Dark Psychic before being attacked with another Vine Whip. Natu chirped with an angry joy as it let loose a Shadow Ball that seemed to end it for Weepinbell. Again, Ginji tossed the the Shaids Ball and it wiggled 3 times before producing a soft DING!

How many Pokemon needed to become corrupted for the fighting to stop? Was this even the right path? How could they produce enough love to heal all of their hearts? Ginji sighed as he returned the Shadow Natu and placed the balls into his bag. It was going to be a long fight, and now even more members of Aqua were suffering because of Shadow. How dare they severe the bonds they had formed so easily.

"But the bonds are never truly broken, just forgotten. There has to be a way to get us to remember." Ginji sighed as he looked to the sky, after each match with the Shadow Pokemon, the ones that were left uncaught seemed to flee away in isolation, not picking a fight with anyone. "I'm sorry for putting you all through this." he said to his Team mates. "You shouldn't have to suffer as well as your Pokemon. We'll find a cure. I swear."

Maddy stood up and walked over to Ginji. She looked over her shoulder. To everyone else it would appear she was looking at nothing, but to her she was staring at Cyrus. "Ginji... I have to talk to you about something later..." Her face was still tear-stained, and she looked at the ground, not wanting to face anyone.
Cyrus crossed his arms. "Is this the boy you always think about?"

Cody studied her expression and replied, "It's gonna be ok. We'll get them back. I promise."

Kiara narrowed her eyes and whirled around, hearing the sound of a charging attack. She saw a riolu holding its palms out, eyes closed. There was a flash, and her ralts appeared in front of her, taking the attack and turning shadow.
"GLADIUS!" she yelled, snarling something unintelligble. She was going to use the absol and Ignatius, rather than risk another... But it appeared Gladius had decided to turn shadow himself. "Why did you do that...?" She shook her head. Time to attack, not wonder.
"Psychic!" Instantly, the shadowy ralts's eyes turned purple and a lavender aura surrounded the riolu, picking up the pokemon and slamming it harshly into the Battle Tower's walls, dealing heavy damage. The riolu struggled up, used copycat, and had less of and effect. Being a psychic type, Gladius was able to cushion himself. Now, the small pokemon created several copies of itself, confusing the riolu into attacking.
"Hypnosis, while its back is turned," commanded Kiara. As the riolu turned, it found itself staring into Gladius's eyes. Like a light, riolu was out, snoozing on the ground. Kiara tossed a pokeball at it, and it clicked, capturing the emanation pokemon. She then recalled Gladius, sighing miserably.

Sammy sighed, not really responding to that statement. "So, Mr. Cody, how've ya been. Sorry I couldn't find you on the beach before.... sweatdrop " She chuckled a bit.

Sammy looked over at Mr. Cody, a look of astonishment on her face. "Really? I've been thinking about you, too! It's strange... Like some sort of voodoo..." She said, completely oblivious to what that meant. "Hmm... It's a small world, after all. ^^"

"Well...we may as well head back to HQ. There's no Shadow Members here..." Ginji sighed as he looked at the blossoming couple. He smiled, how easy it was to fall in love.

Maddy released Star and took off. Maddy looked over at Cyrus and noticed he was sitting behind her. "Leave me alone god dammit!!"
