Ginji smiled at Sammy. "Glad you could join us. We're just ready to start some a** kicking." he smiled as he tossed each Aqua Member to Shaids Balls. "These will contain any Shadow Pokemon you encounter." he smiled as they arrived at the Battle Tower, Shadow Pokemon all around them.

"Remember, any Pokemon you send to fight them off will become a Shadow Pokemon at the end of the Battle, so be careful." Ginji warned as he remembered Luxray and the others that had been infected. "It looks like we all have 2 to fight off, you can catch both of them, remember to consider what rank you are, we don't want these Pokemon on the loose." he explained as he brought out a Pokeball.

Ginji looked at Sammy worriedly. "It's okay, your love can save them from that state. It takes time yes, but it's the only was we know of purifying them for now." he sighed, he didn't want his Pokemon to contract the virus, but sometimes sacrifices needed to be made."

"Oh damn... Not again..." Cody said as he contemplated who to send into battle. "Let's go Altaria! We're gonna fight again." He turned to see Sammy finally arrive. "Hey, wanna fight with me?" he asked her as a Vileplume approached him. Again, everything went Sepia and he could see a very dark aura around the pokemon.

Sammy looked back at Mr. Cody. "Sure! ^^ Wait, are we aloud to battle together?" She asked, hoping that anyone who knew would answer.

"Go ahead you two. I don't care if you fight together, just be sure you each take down 2 Pokemon." Ginji laughed as he was jumped by a Shadow Weepinbell and a Shadow Zangoose. "Hey Kiara, we need help, fighting two Shadow Pokemon and catching them. Though your Pokemon will Shadowify after the battle." he explained quickly as he tossed her two Shaids Balls.

"Ok Sammy, let's go!" Cody told her. He then turned to his pokemon. "Altaria, prepare yourself. You may not like the outcome of this battle." The Flying Type flew into the air, preparing for an attack. The dark Vileplume braced itself with Endure. Altaria charged at the Grass Type and hit it hard with a vicious Sky Attack. Barely hanging on, the Vileplume released a Poisonpowder, infecting the bird pokemon immediately. Altaria screeched in pain as the poison took its toll, but she came back fighting with an Aerial Ace, KOing the Shadow pokemon. Suddenly, Altaria was engulfed in the same dark aura as the Vileplume. "Oh no!" Cody said and returned the pokemon. It's Natural Cure set in and she was healed from the poison.

Cody turned to Sammy and complimented her on her battling skills as a Flaaffy appeared. "Not you too!" Cody yelled at the pokemon, but it just sent out a Thunderbolt. "Claydol, your turn!" he shouted as he sent out the Claydol, who simply absorbed the Thunderbolt and sent out a Psybeam in return. The sheep pokemon was sent into an immediate daze and hurt itself in confusion when it tried to attack. "Claydol, Rapid Spin," Cody shouted. The pokemon started to spin slowly, but quickly accelerated and shot itself at the confused Electric Type. Cody took this time to send out a Shaids Ball. The ball hit the pokemon and absorbed it in a black light, just like Flannery's Macargo. It was horrible to watch all the memories be brought to life in this one moment. The ball dropped to the ground and shook once. Twice. Three times. *bing* The pokemon was caught.

Sammy let Blitzen walk forward; he would be the first to battle. A shadow eevee appeared. Eevee ran forward, using a quick attack. She slammed against Blitzen, sending him backwards a bit. “Use flame wheel!” Blitzen sent a swirling mass of flames up into the air, which came down around Eevee. She went flying back, worn. Eevee quickly regained herself, retaliating with a nasty bite. Blitzen grimaced as his arm was attacked, but he stood strong. “… I’m sorry, Blitzen… Ember…” Sammy sniffled, hating to see her Pokemon in pain. Blitzen let out the small bit of fire, which lowered Eevee’s health down to a catchable level. Eevee had one last attack, though. She managed another bite, and Blitzen was almost fainted, at this point. “Pokeball, go!” Sammy shouted, throwing one of her newly-aquired Shaid balls. Wiggle…. Shake…. Bounce…. Ding! “Good job… Blitzen?” Sammy’s smile turned sour as Blitzen was turned into a shadow pokemon. “Well, Eevee… You’ll be known as Prancer.” Sammy sighed, sticking to her current naming system. She then went off to fight another shadow pokemon.

Next was a shadow scyther. “Okay, Vixen… Let’s go!” She called, letting Vixen fly forward a bit. Scyther used Pursuit, which sent Vixen (And Sammy, who was riding aboard him) flying backwards a bit. “Use wing attack!” Sammy called. Vixen’s wings moved rapidly, until the point where a large wind was created, which hurt Scyther a good amount. He retaliated with Fury Swipes. His blades crossed Vixen once… Twice… Three times. Vixen took it like a man… Well, as much as he could, being a pokemon and all. “Aerial Ace!” Sammy’s shouting seemed to echo a bit, as Vixen used the move. The move shattered Scyther’s confidence, as he was very weak now. Scyther flew upwards, using wing attack. It barely did anything to Vixen, but he was still tired. “Pokeball, go!” She called, releasing the second ball. Wiggle…. Shake…. Bounce….. Ding! “You’re name is Dasher… “ Sammy mumbled quietly, watching as Vixen also turned shadow. “…It’ll be okay, Vixen…” She sighed, flying back to the group.
