Old Man KB His thing is "I'm running so fast that its hard to get an accurate bead on me" and her thing is "I throw a blade of energy at his legs". So her energy is going for his legs, but the way he's running makes it hard to be completely accurate. It could, as you said, maybe strike him in the neck or something and kill him. That would just be supernaturally bad luck for him, and the Judges would need to decide whether or not she was DQ'd. He's already conceded the argument, he's going to change his post if the Judges feel your concern is worthy. The question I'd ask you as a roleplayer and fellow competitor before you petition such involvement is, Do you really want to end the fight prematurely by throwing a blade of energy at him while he's running, or do you want to continue the fight in good spirit and accept the damage he's taken? I'm not trying to make you seem as though you're not a good sport, but we all know that if that attack succeeds in the way that its designed... it's going to take out his legs or worse. It's a very powerful ability to be using on someone, especially when there's a chance of missing or something like that. --- But I'm Judging too. Didn't you get the memo from Vintrict before he left for work? He gave me emergency chancellor powers in light of the increased conflicts OOC among competitors. ( Mino and Hael ) Think of me like Staff ( Lite ) The whole he's running so fast thing I counter with she had her target selected while he was at rest. And while getting hit with s**t like that can be fight ending, it doesn't necessarily have to be. Being a roleplayer who has had that kind of s**t done to me on multiple occasions very early on in a fight, I wouldn't ask if I could have my god make it not happen kind of thing. Character induced stupidity has consequences. In his case, he probably shouldn't have ran into a turtle...again. As a competitor, I'd want to finish it as fast as possible in my favor. =P

Even a Zealot woulda been fun in retrospect.
But now I'm seriously dissapointed that I chose to go pure human. =/
Maybe if it's decided against; Hakujou can be dumb a** lucky by deciding to jump at the proper moment to elevate above the attack.
The fact of the matter is that he can't see it.
Plus there was no charge time- No time spent forming said energy blade, and basically very little explanation over all on what mechanics are behind the system she's using; if any.

But I'm not gona call that into question. Cuh I don't care. Huuurrrr.
I just wana fight yo. Not get my char crippled in the first round like that's cool.

It really doesn't bother me that Omi would be uncontrollably bleeding fire everywhere, unable to direct it because he lost his ability to see.
Granted its impossible for KB to Phantom Slash his eyes without cleaving off the entire top of his head, so its a moot point.

Old Man KB Man, all I'm saying is... KB has Phantom Slash too, and I could win all my matches with it. Phantom Slash Isah, his sword block blocks a fraction of it, and he's cut in half. Phantom Slash Omi's fingers off. Phantom Slash Vincent's arms or legs off. Phantom Slash basically anyone else who gets in the way. Punch Sokoya. Etc etc.

And that blood =/= where the fire would come from. Instead, anything delimbed would be effectively turned into bombs.
KB wouldn't be a torso anymore, he'd be ashes. Unless of course Omi was beheaded, in which case definitely a moot point, but we're going for the "it got his fingers and then his eyes" scenario here.

On the point of "I'd want the fight to end as quickly as possible in my favor." I don't take any of this s**t too seriously. I try to make my fights enjoyable for both parties, because I know KB is already equipped to take out almost anyone. If not, it becomes an arms race between characters stacking equipment and abilities to fight one another.
Tiberium bullets, sound vibration tiberium restricters, lasers, reflective armor, AA cannons, bullet-dodging, etc etc.
I prefer to be chill, and be like "Oh ********, I'm a torso... Let's fight!"

The Haelstrom Fist Except Omi's got a "utility" aspect of his SMA that allows any serpent spawned to manifest an eye in it, effectively giving him sight regardless. I never get to use it, but damn when I do. Granted, but this is from 30ft away. This gives KB more than enough time to pick apart the rest of Omi, given that he's more or less unobstructed until the snakes make their way over to him. If I wanted to I could be a complete douche and say that Omi's armor is useless because the blade of energy is only partially blocked by the ringmail, and the unblocked parts continue into his body to make him a sieve... but I'm not a douche. Not all the time. xp

I'm with KB.
This is a tournament roleplay, not a roleplaying tournament.
It isn't about winning, its about the fun of it.
Anyone who is in it to win it every time is a bore to fight, and I would forfeit against instantly. Because they are just going to dodge every time if they can think of a way and always be a** hats when it doesn't go there way.

I'm in it to win it every time every year.
I simply acknowledge when I lose and try again next time. I don't give a s**t if it's a tournament roleplay or a roleplaying tournament or a tournament of roleplayed tournaments, I'll treat it and play it the same way.
Enjoyment can stem from both a roleplaying perspective and from a competitive aspect, and if anyone fails to acknowledge both but only one, they fail equally whichever they choose, and will be slapped upside their mouths again. [Strut.]
Also, no way, KB would explode like a 7-Up 2-liter full of Mentos.
