Zephyrkitty l-Kriel-l God dammit. I'm torn. I'm dead set on getting either this glorious b*****d or this ******** glorious b*****d.I have just enough for one, but not both. I plan to get both eventually, but for now I have to choose. They're both essentially the same figure, only one's...translucent purple. Pros of the first: Doesn't look like s**t like the last iteration of the design (the fourth from the left in the comparison picture), completely accurate, posable as all hell, and the green glows in the ******** DARK. Pros of the second: It's a goddamn clear version. Limited variant that will inevitably go up in price later, can be used as an afterimage, looks nice, and the LED base lights up the entire figure. I'm leaning towards the clear one since it's obviously limited and the regular one is not limited, but I just...I don't know. SOMEBODY HELP ME CHOOSE. Buy both now, take it out of your living expenses later. razz Being serious, I like the first one a lot better than the second one, but my recommendation would be whichever one is going to be harder to find. I planned on both at first, but the total came out to $65, and I just don't want to spend that much before I make more. I'm applying for jobs left and right and my birthday's in a week so maybe it'll work out, I don't know. I think I'll go for the clear version. The regular version will always be there and the clear version won't.

Hobo Scruffy Ok, seriously. How many stars does Super Mario Galaxy 2 have? I heard it was 242. But if by 242 they mean 141 stars and then the SAME 141 stars with an identical character, that's not 242 stars. Other people are confusing me. burning_eyes
And should I get Killer 7? How much do you think it's worth? Aye, as it's been said, it does have 242, but the last 121 stars ARE the hidden green stars, which aren't as impressive as a whole new set of 121 stars, but are still fun to collect. They're pretty interesting to find and some are hidden in really clever areas and really stretch the stages to their limits as you try to find them. Also, yes you should get killer7, it is great. I really loved it, and it's one of my favorite games of all time. I'd say it's worth easily thirty bucks.

To further talk about killer7, it's an awesome psychological thriller, to which you probably will never forget even years after beating it. It's one of the most unique games I've ever played from not only its storyline, but to its graphical presentation and even its gameplay style. Still, it's a game that will make you question everything. You will be confused constantly; bewildered, shocked, and your eyebrow will be cocked the entire time. It's a game that knows what it's doing and knows what it is, even if you never will, and I love every part of it.
That said, if they remade it, I WOULD like a version that makes more sense. The further you go into killer7, the more questions you get, and the ending answers some things and leaves you feeling fulfilled, but later in retrospect you go back and wonder what everything meant.

Trying to decide if I should get a mousepad or a poster for my "I AM ONLY A CAT" image off of Zazzle. Thoughts?
Additional info: My mousepad is really old and dolphins, but I also have a lot of posters.

So I beat MM1-9 and I just bought 10. I started with Protoman, because I'm a big Protoman fan, and I was getting kind of trashed, which I thought was surprising, so I looked up the differences, and he still takes 2x the damage. I switched to Megaman (after getting two bosses's powers) and was still getting kind of trashed. I downloaded Bass, and oh my god is he strong.
It seems a little unfair. Protoman takes twice as much damage but gets a shield when he jumps (mostly useless unless you change your game around it), the slide and a power shot (only two shots onscreen at a time, though!). You have to play the game a lot slower and safer with him, you can't just "take a hit to get through" enemies like you do with Megaman a lot, or else you'll die.
Megaman can't slide or powershot anymore. Kind of hard to unlearn after five past games where he could. Still, he's alright. Just nothing notable.
Bass can slide, shoot four shots at a time (holding down the shoot button makes him rapid fire), and fire in seven directions. It makes killing EVERYTHING so much easier. A boss jumps up to shoot s**t down at you? Fire UP and hit that b***h. His cons are that he can't shoot through walls (which IS kind of weird) and... Uh... He doesn't get coil/jet? Because he gets Treble which he can equip (ala MM6) and fly around with freely. It has an energy meter, but it doesn't go down fast at all.
Holy balls. Why did they even PUT an easy mode in this game?
Challenge: Beat game as Protoman on hard.
b***h mode: Beat game as Bass (on easy).

Also, I remember seeing videos of Bass before he was "released" because he's in the game data, but when you download him he takes up blocks of memory. Is that just garbage code, or what?

I literally JUST ordered the poster. Ah well, I think it will look cool with all of my other posters, like a mural or something. I'd like to get some way to attach them all together and have some huge wall of just pure gaming posters.
