"I figured I'd summon Morrigan," the priestess explained, her eyes shifting to a bright blue green. "She could fight him one on one. Trap him somehow. I'm not sure." Morrigan frowned.
She sat beside him, drenched and shivering in the water. The temperature never used to be too much of a problem.
She needed her elven side back. Her fae-side too, but her elven side the most.
"What do you think?"

Po-ar nodded, "A good idea, but I think we'll need to figure out how to best use the flower." he said, looking to the woman.
He was silent for a long moment.
Soon however, Po-ar took Morrigan into his arms and held her gently. The Tarnb-jin kissed her softly.

Pell-Mell laughed, "Hypothermia. it's a fancy human name for when your body gets too cold. But this water is far to warm for that, so no worries."

Thom winced at the spark of pain, but only by instinct, instinct that said you should shy away from pain. But Thom did not want to shy away from the pain.
Destroy me. Consume me. Give me pain and oblivion. I don't care what you do or how long it takes, just give it to me. Hurt me. Use me. Make me forget. Or kill me. Or everything. I don't care.
No, he didn't care which Konton chose, just that he did choose. He didn't even care that the music abotu the demon frightened Thom, or shoudl have frightened him.
He just wanted the pain in his chest to stop, and he didn't care how.

"Good." the boy said with a smile. "Why did they have to use such a big word, huh?"

Konton's claws caressed Thom's cheek. "So innocent..." the demon whispered. "So lost... I will give you what you seek, but only after I have what I want. Until then, my dear boy, is there anything I can do to ease the pain in your heart?"

Thom closed his eyes and relaxed at Konton's caress. A small shudder ran down his spine. He really should be afraid, he should. Except Maeve was dead so it didn't matter any more.

Konton nodded, "Very well." he spoke before claiming the boy's mouth in a kiss.
However, by doing so, the demon used a strange chemical makeup to inject a venom into Thom.
It would make every touch sheer torture.

Pell-Mell smiled and jumped right into the middle of the stream.
"Get in of course, though you proably will want to wade in. And keep in mind your clothes are going to be soaked."

Thom's mind screamed as the boy twisted against Konton's ebrace, again by sher instinct alone. Sweat beaded on his body and tears stained his cheeks. His whole body was shaking violently as wave after wave of pain assaulted him.
It hurt. It hurt so bad.
He could barely draw breath, but h did not pull back from Konton's kiss. Somehow he managed to met and return it, maybe not in full, but return it nontheless.
It hurt. It hurt so bad. He didn't want it to stop.

Konton's kiss deepened, his embrace tightened. The demon's wings unfolded, enveloping himself and Thom within their darkness.
The fear would rise, it would take hold... but would Thom be able to fight it?

"Just get used to the temperature to start with," Pell-Mell suggested, "Let the water run through your fingers."

Thom could feel it, feel the fear that he should feel rise in his chest. He could feel the panic rise up in him. If he possessed the ability, he would have been screaming long before this.
It hurt. It hurt.
He could make it stop. He could as Konton to-
No!
Somehow, he managed to wrap his arms around the demon's neck and pull him closer to his trembling form.
Not yet.

'You love the pain...' Konton's mind spoke as he continued to kiss the boy, pumping more of the toxin into him using his tongue.
He would hurt Thom... hurt him more than he had hurt anyone in a long tim...

"It's so cold." Aoikage laughed, his body shivering.
Oddly enough, his wings came out of his back with the sudden temperature change.
"It almost feels like the cold I feel when flying."

Morrigan was somewhat taken aback, but it was only because her state of thinking was set to survival, and had been for a few days. Her only thought had been of Po-ar's health. She hadn't expected this.
She was grateful, however, returning the kisses generously, although she was still very air-like. She didn't consume him.
She was just glad to have him.
She clung to him tightly, just taking solace in having him back. She had missed him; she thought that she was going to be widowed again, well, in a sense.
Save that her brother was in danger, there was nothing more soothing to her than knowing he was safe now.

Thom's back arched with the new sudden burst of pain. He buried his fingers into the skin of the demon's neck, holding on desperatly.
It hurt. It hurt so bad.
His very bones were ablaze, every touch was like searated white-hot daggers tearing into his flesh. He could barely draw breath. Somewhere deep isnide himslef, Thom was amazed he hadn't blacked out yet.
His mind just screamed and screamed as tear after tear rolled down his cheek. He felt his nails draw blood but he woudlnt' let go. he coudln't let go. To let go would mean to immerse himslef in a differnt pain he coudlnt' escape. A pain that would never, ever go away.
So he clug to Konton as tightly as he could and even as his boyd trahsed with pain, even as his mind screamed out and wave after wave of agony rolled over him, he wouldn't let go.
It was what he wanted.
If he could focus his mind enough he woudl have begged the demon not to stop. But all he could do was scream silently in his head.

Konton pulled away, watching Thom closely. For a moment, all the demon did was watch.
He smiled, kissing Thom again but without using the venom.
"There now... do you feel better?" he whispered, his forehead pressed against the boy's own.

Aoikage nodded, "It does..." he says, now up to his waist. "Now what?"

Po-ar held her against him for a long moment after the kiss. "I'm sorry." he whispered. "I'm sorry for dragging you into all of this, Mor-chan."

"I don't care." Morrigan nuzzled his chest, "I'm just glad to have met you. I'm glad you're alright. I wouldn't want anything bad to happen to you again."
She never said so, but she loved being held. It comforted her.
Not that she needed comfort, or anything, but...
She sighed deeply, relaxing just a little bit. "I... I love you too much to lose you again." she whispered. "We need to come up with a plan."

Thom managed a feeble nod and curled his trembling body against Konton's own, head resting against the demons chest. His whole body was all but bathed in a cold sweat from the pain and the fear.
Oh how it had hurt. It had hurt so bad. It still hurt.
His breath was still coming in short, ragged gasps. It hurt to breath. Thw whole thing had hurt so bad, hurt his body more than anything he ever imagined could have.
It had been wonderful.

"Hold your breath and put your head underwater for a few seconds," Pell-mell encouraged.
