This guy on SmashBoards made a good point. Perhaps the FLUDD is a customizable Mario item? When you choose Mario it will ask you if you want FLUDD or normal Mario that has the Mario Tornado. It makes sense, you could have Link and choose if you want the normal boomerang or the Gale boomerang or something similar. This could be where Mario has to charge his FLUDD to get water. Although I can't see there being a pool of water in EVERY single level. Who knows, only time will tell. But what do you think? I personally would love to be able to customize each character in a certain way. Perhaps allowing us to use the ' old ' SSBM or SSB movesets for characters. They said Bowser had new moves and whatnot. So this would allow people who loved to use his old moves to actually get to. But it may be more trouble than its worth.

Gah, this "Sonic for Brawl" bs is beginning to annoy me. In the beginning I wasn't too adverse to the idea, in fact he could be nearly viable in a fighting game like this, but as more and more people have claimed that he's confirmed, or demanded that he be confirmed, or whatever, it's started to piss me off. I get the message, you guys want Sonic in Brawl, good job, pat yourselves on the back, but don't try to force your pro-hedgehog propaganda down my throat. I'll be open about it now, I don't want the blue guy in Brawl now just to see the looks on the faces of those who were so convinced that they were the geniuses who saw through Brawl's clever silence on characters. stressed
...phew, good to get that out of my system, sorry if I've offended any blue hedgehog fans out there, but damn.

Some of the old smashers are just plain unfair, like SSB Ness, and SSBM Fox. I'm guessing alternate costumes with slightly different movesets. (Like the clones of the other games, only with a few moves actually different instead of changing just the looks.)

Wewt, music update! On top of that, an option to pick what music you prefer in the options! o_o That's just awesome and gets rid of the hassle of holding down L and R when the stage is loading.

pretty awesome update i must say...the background in the menu's remind me of Kirby Air Ride alot...which makes sense since the Hal Laboratory make the Super Smash Bros. Stuff...ins't it made by a company named Sora this time? i dunno, they came from Hal so it doesn't really matter..~ sweatdrop

Wow.
Triple update for friday.
That's a first.
A very nice one at that.
This option of different music is a great idea, but not too many people probably thought of.
This game is shaping up very nicely.
And man, I'm getting sick of 'Sonic in brawl' things all the time too.
Oh! And whoever mentioned it before, the Luigi image from the select screne is from the cover of Mario 64 DS. Thus proving it's fakeness more over. domokun

I'm really happy about the "My Music" thing. The game's music affects how much the player is enjoying the experience.
I'm going to have so many SSBB songs on my iPod. xD
Evolution music FTW
If I was a Mario-user, I probably wouldn't use F.L.U.D.D.. It just seems like too much trouble to charge if it doesn't do any damage. I guess you could use it to help push a falling person off the stage, but still, I'd rather have Mario Tornado.

I like the my music thing. That's a really good idea. The Pokemon music is nice, too. I also like how you can get new music as you play the game.
Jasy: Being a Mario user myself, I've gotta say that the tornado is a pretty useless attack for battle. It's not often that you catch or hit somebody with it, and if you do, you basically hit them once, and it knocks them back, allowing them to own the crap out of you. I think FLUDD looks cool; it'll be a real good recovery stopper. *squirt*

Scottendo That's weird, I had said to a few of my friends the other day ' They should replace Dr. Mario with Paper Mario and give him new moves, then give Mario the Dr. Mario costume as one of his alternate color costumes. Hm, who is that to the left of Snake? Meryl? And to the left of Kirby? And the image of Ganondorf to the right of Link is an official art from Twilight Princess. And that Luigi image, I can't put my finger on it. But uh. Sonic? In the ice? What? To the left of Snake you can see Simon Belmont of Castlevania Fame I believe.

I don't like many music updates but this one rocks! And I'm glad they didn't do an SD card thing cuz all my friends like to lusten to crappy music while playing Melee Dx Also I LOVE the Pokémon music! 3nodding
