Allen walked up, swiping a pebble from the side of the road. "Hmph." He whipped the little rock around, slinging it through the air right into the back of the head of the thug at the window.
"What the-!?" The guy spun around to look to find Allen, "You threw that at me!"
"You must be the smart one." The Aquan mentioned offhandedly.
"You gonna regret that! Get'im!" He tossed a Pokeball, showing off an impressive Nidorino.
"Alright, go Cecil!" He called upon his Reuniclus, "Psychic!" The Pokemon raised it's gelatin arms high and brought them down with a heavy swish through the air, the Nidorino looked like it was flattened out and bounced back a few paces, fainted.
"Urk! Uh! Toxicroak, Sucker Punch!" The Pokemon bounded forward, leaping high to come down on Cecil with a ferocious punch. The hit caused a lot of damage, but cecil came back and blasted it away with another nasty Psychic.
"Come again?" Allen spoke with a pretty menacing tone. The guy backed up a couple steps and scrambled to get back to his motorcycle.

Despite his best efforts, Rei was the last one to the unfolding battle, having spent much of his immediately available energy trying to not get run over by motorcyclists. He had nothing against motorcycles; indeed, he thought they were pretty cool, preferring the sleek naked bikes over the covered sport bikes or heavy cruisers, but he never cared for biker gangs. To him, they were largely composed of thugs who wanted to feel empowered and cool.
After avoiding another biker who was trying to run him over, Rei decided that diplomacy was out the window, and that a more aggressive course of action was needed. He grabbed a Pokéball from his belt and tossed it at the nearest Biker, jumping off his bike as he did so.
"Yami, knock him off and pin him to the ground!" The thug was thrown off-balance by the sudden force to his side, and he lost control of his bike. The motorcycle crashed onto the asphalt, which caused no small amount of damage to the chrome work and spoked front wheel. The biker watched helplessly as his bike slid from asphalt to the bottom of the hill, bouncing its way to a stop. The cruiser went from ugly to broken, and the owner of the now-ruined bike roared in anger.
"You punk! You're so dead!" He reached into his leather jacket and threw out a Pokéball.
"Koffing! Smog!" The ball of poison, upon exiting its Pokéball, belched out a noxious gas from its innards. Rei was not impressed.
"What a joke. He's only tough if his friends are with him. Yami, slash this Koffing to shreds." The Scyther happily obliged, and went straight for the eyes. The cut was deep, running across both eyes on the Koffing, and ending on opposite ends of the Pokémon's mouth. Critical hits were commonplace with a well-trained Scyther. It was over in a moment. The Biker, undeterred, sent out his backup Pokémon, a male Nidoran. Rei responded by withdrawing his Scyther and sending out his Horsea, Leviathan.
"Focus Energy, Leviathan. Use that new item you've got." His Horsea, holding a Scope Lens, began building pressure in her snout and took careful aim.
The Biker laughed. "Think you'll stop me? Ha! Horn Attack, Nidoran. Ram it good!" The Nidoran charged at the Horsea, jabbing its horn into Horsea's side. The Horsea winced in pain, but allowed the attack to follow through, taking advantage of the short distance between her target and her snout.
"Brine." With one word, the Nidoran was blasted with an immensely powerful spray of water at point-blank. Had it not been for Rei's stroke of luck with critical hits, the fight could have gone longer, but it was not to be. The biker, soundly defeated, and with no room to argue with a Scyther ready to slit his throat, decided to retreat in an un-cool fashion on the back of another biker's motorcycle.
Rei grinned. There was a certain rude phrase that went to riders who chose to sit on the backseat, but he chose not to further provoke the fleeing group, lest they decide to return with a vengeance.

Effectively stopped, the gang of thugs rode off, leaving the poor clerk to his job. "Have a nice day!" Allen called to him and waved before leading the group back through the city, swerving out over the beach at a few points before they finally turned to roll up the mountain, it was a zigzagged path to make the rise more gradual. Once near the top, there was a loud cry and huge commotion near what seemed to be Connecting Cave. "Let's hurry!" Allen called and sped off to find out what what going on. A bunch of the Pokemon from inside the cave and a group of Pokemon from Route 8 seemed to be having a dispute. A rough battle more like. The issue was that they were tearing up the road in doing so, "Welp, looks like another battle is in order.." He muttered. [Fight any 2-5 Pokemon from either Connecting Cave or Route 8. Catch one if you like. If you have the Honey item, you may use it to fight a Horde. Remember Hordes are usually 5 of the same Pokemon and to catch one, you must defeat the other four first. (in the case of Seviper and Zangoose, please do not have them fighting each other this time). Please remember to reserve your battle posts!]

Maddy sent out Muffin as a Binacle rushed up to attack her. "Leaf Blade!" She cried. Using her mouth, Muffin pulled a long, sharp leaf off of her mane and slashed at the Rock/Water-Type Pokemon. The blow was powerful, but Binacle managed to hold on to consciousness. It began to furiously polish it's body, reducing it's drag and increasing it's speed. It then rushed forward and hit Muffin with a Cross Chop, striking her square in the chest. Muffin let out a squeal as she tumbled across the ground. She slowly climbed back onto her feet. "Horn Leech!" Muffin ran forward and jabbed at Binacle with her horns, draining the rest of it's power and restoring some of her own. Binacle was down for the count.
A Spoink hopped over to meet them in battle. Maddy recalled Muffin and sent out Charmander this time. "Crunch!" She barked. Charmander nodded his head and rushed forward, grabbing the smaller Pokemon in his jaws and biting hard. Spoink let out a shriek and jumped away from Charmander. It'd body shuddered as it flinched, unable to remove. "This one was easy. Finish it off with a Flamethrower!" Charmander smirked before opening his mouth and letting loose a torrent of fire. Spoink was engulfed in flame and fell to the ground, knocked out.

A warring Inkay and Whismur, blasted attacks back and forth. "Alright. Go Ecrelys." He called, "Hit Inkay with X-Scissor!" Ecralys swiped his claws across each other before running forward to slash across the little Pokemon with the doubly strong attack, fainting it right away.
The Whismur turned to him and let out a massive screech, nearly forcing Ecrelys from the ground. "Brick Break!" Allen called to his Pokemon, the super effective attack forced the Whismur to bounce away a few times fainted. "Well now that that's settled..." He turned back to his teammates.

Rei hopped off his bike and surveyed the scene before him. It was nothing short of chaos. He grabbed his Pokéball and tossed it at the first enemy he saw, a Binacle who was forced from its rocky home by the endless shaking of said rocks by other Pokémon. Rei's Treecko leaped from the Pokéball, eager to challenge the Rock-Water type. The Treecko, considerably faster than the lumpy rock-thing, was the first to strike. Using a leaf as a conduit, Treecko absorbed the life out of the Binacle, dealing massive damage. The Binacle responded by smashing its two heads against the Treecko's arm in a pincer-like movement. Treecko cried in pain, its arm seemingly broken. In retaliation, and to end its pain, Treecko used Mega Drain to finish off the opponent and repair its arm. Rei called back his Treecko.
"Sorry, little guy. I didn't expect him to get you that badly." He noticed his Magikarp's Pokéball shake slightly; the Magikarp, who was holding an Exp. Share, was happily gaining experience without any pain. Rei looked back at the mob of wild Pokémon.
"Perhaps there's a feisty one in that group who would be a good addition, eh, Countess?" His Zubat grumbled in reply, sucking on a liquid-filled gummy Caterpie candy. She wanted nothing to do with rowdy Pokémon. Rei laughed, all too familiar with his Zubat's antics.
"Fine, fine, you don't have to help." He sent out his Venipede.
"Cho, go look for a possible companion." The Venipede bowed and scurried off.
It wasn't often that Cho was allowed to have the level of freedom that Rei's favorite, the Countess, was given. More uncivilized Pokémon under Rei's command would have taken advantage of that. But not Cho. Ever the gentleman, Cho would never dream of causing mischief at Rei's expense. He scurried to quickly find the most honorable Pokémon amongst the rabble, and was rewarded with a polite young Bagon. The two even bowed before clashing against one another.
The Venipede, just a hair quicker than Bagon, spat on its tail and lashed out against the Bagon, scraping and poisoning it. The Bagon responded with a smashing headbutt against the Venipede, ignoring the poison coursing through its veins. Unfortunately, it couldn't ignore the venom in its veins when Cho spat out a Venoshock. Enraged, it rammed its head once more against the Bug-type, smashing it against the rock wall before twitching on the ground, nearing defeat.
Rei tossed a Pokéball and hoped for the best.
Shake.
Shake.
...Shake.
......Click!
Cho and Rei cried the sound of victory. Another successful capture! He recalled his Venipede and hopped back on his bike, noticing the change in the mob. They seemed to be petering out.

A pair of Spoink showed up and seemed itching for a battle. Memo readied 2 pokeballs and out came Etina his Kirlia, and Flír the Feebas?! "That was supposed to Lyfa..." He muttered to Cereza with monotone voice and dulled expression. "Chiika!" Memo started the battle off by asking Etina to use a Magical Leaf while he used his TADS to get a synopsis on his Feebas. "Nice!" The Spoinks were both damaged and the faster one retaliated with a confusion that did little harm to Etina while the other Spoink let loose a Psywave that seemed pretty powerful and aimed at Flír. The little fish took the attack and with a neko grin Memo called out Mirror Coat that took out one Spoink in the blink of an eye! The other one was sent packing after a quick Psychic blast and that was that. "Chika!" The boy praised all his Pokémon and withdrew the battling pair. Once he turned around there was another pair of eager poke pals waiting to battle. A pair of Drifloon showed up and Memo sent out Flirt once again but this time paired with Lyfa the Pancham. Pancham took out one Drifloon with a single Crunch that practically popped it ha! The second ghost type attacked Flír with a powerful ominous wind that almost took out the scrappy fish but pulled together to execute a beautiful Mirror Coat that finished this battle. After some praise and pats Memo withdrew his duo only to spot a speedy Seviper launch off a rock and coil up in front of the tall brunette for a battle. He smiled at the beautiful serpent and sent out Kira his Seadra and the battle ensued! "Sevip!!!!" "Ah!" Kira was sent skidding by a powerful Poison Tail which took them both by surprise! "Bubblebeam Bomb!" The punk rock Seadra blew a huge bubble that grew on the tip of her snout. It was being filled with a parade of bubbles that seemed to ricochet and rocket in the watery globe! Once launched the snake dodged but was caught in an explosion of separate Bubblebeams that kept the Seviper in place while fishing out major damage. On a specific line of fire Memo called out for an Icy Wind that turned the bubbles semi solid buffing the damage done!! "Sweet!" Memo readied a Great Ball and in 1, 2, 3 he had a Seviper!

After that mess had been sorted out Allen gave a sigh of relief, "At least we're here, at the fun part of the trail." He gave a grin and lead them to a huge downhill that curved around the Northern side of the city. "First one to the bottom is a rotten egg!" He called before pushing off the ground and racing down the massive slope, which it was clear to see, stopped right next to the Hotel.

Maddy wasn't much for racing, so she checked the time as she coasted down the hill. When she came to a stop at the bottom by the hotel, she turned to her companions. "Well, I guess it's time for this weeks mission." She said, clapping her hands together. A smile graced her lips. "I don't have anything big planned for this week, really." She shrugged. "I wanted to continue exploring Kalos. Figured we'd journey up Route 10 this week." Although she did want to explore, she was also looking into finding another hotel or base for them. Staying in one spot for too long with Team Flare after them wasn't a good idea. She had to admit, though, she was going to be sad to leave Hotel Cyllage behind. Reaching into her pocket, she pulled out her eye patch and snapped it on over her left eye. "Sorry, if you guys were expecting more. With Team Flare, we kinda have to try and lay low." She frowned slightly upon saying that. She knew that they would have to deal with Lysandre and his team eventually, no matter their efforts.

As Rei coasted to a stop by the hotel, he paused to think.
"Hmm. Route Ten has those stones, right? That should be interesting. I'll head to the Pokémon Center to heal my party, and join up with you in a moment."
He made a quick dash to the Center and, a few moments later, rushed back out to join the team.

Michael was laying on the top of a hill restin his eyes with his three friends, Squirt, Spike, and Draco, when his alarm on his TADS went off. He looked at the time and realized he would be late, if he did not hurry. He ran down the hill with his team right behind him. When he arrived at the hill where everyone else was he just stood there waitin for instructions.

Memo nodded and asked Maddy for a quick report on Team Flare as he fixed his cap and also made a quick trip to heal his party. "If anything this will be fun for the group haha!" "Chika!" He also the new member named Michael and have a wave in the boys direction. "Howdy, I'm Memo and this here is my partner, Cereza. The Chikorita winked and smiled at the boy.

Maddy turned to Memo and smiled. "Team Flare is the group of bad guys in this region. Lysandre, their Leader, asked us to join him to help him procure two Legendary Pokemon." She let out a small sigh. "The man is mad. We refused him and he hasn't been happy with us since."
Once everybody was ready, Maddy lead them onwards to Route 10. They crossed over a short bridge exiting Cyllage City. As they walked, Maddy took out her TADS and brought up a map of the area. Route 10 was pretty much a straight path. She shrugged and pocketed the device. It didn't take long for the bushes and patches of flowers that normally lined Kalos routes to disappear and be replaced with tall stones. "Hmmm..." Maddy glanced over her shoulder at Allen. "Any idea what all these stones are here for?" She asked the boy, seeing how he used to live in Kalos and might know.

Michael saw Memo raise his hand and walked over. When he introduced himself, he said. "Michael Burch at your service and this is Squirt, Spike, and Draco." When it was time to go he looked at Allen and smiled before beginning walking, but stayed close to Memo so they could continue introductions. When they arrived at the route he saw the unusual stones and gave a puzzled look. "Well this is nothing like Hoenn except maybe Mt Pyre."

"Mm, I've heard a lot of 'might be's, the most common reason is that they're graves for the Pokemon that died in the Kalos war a long time ago." He looked down a few rows, "There's what appears to be the carving of a Rhydon back that way." He nodded in the direction of the huge stone. "No one's really sure though." He shrugged. Thinking over all the research he'd done on the place back in his Ruin Maniac days.
