lol it was on my facebook i made a comment about the fact that the 3ds isnt coming out before my bday which means it wont be my present, and then my ex was all "3ds sucks its not worth it" then somehow him and fish got into a conversation where he was trying to one up fish but ended up making himself look retarded

Between Kotaku's list and the one from a couple of pages back, the only games I'm really interested in are OoT 3DS and Devil Survivor Overclocked. Both of these are remakes of games that I already own at least one copy of, not to mention that neither of them seem to have an exact release date yet.

If the system wasn't $250, I could probably justify buying it for two remakes and many currently-unannounced games that I will probably enjoy. But as it is, I really can't.

There's also a convention I'm going to a few days after the 3DS launch. $250 would be most of the money I've set aside for that.

Phoenix Layton doesn't interest you? Megaman Legends 3? I suppose I don't know your exact gaming tastes but they both seem to be flavors you'd enjoy. The convention thing is totally understandable. I think the launch is more for the people that are astounded by the hardware, they'll some of that, and as the resupply comes in perhaps they'll start pounding out those gems like Kid Icarus and Resident Evil.

I remember that. And then it only came out in one color. Why do they do this to us? crying Does anyone remember how awesome it was with all the different GameBoy Color colors? Or even just getting a new colored N64 controller? I miss those days.

The N64, I believe, only came in one color, too. Hell, the SNES and NES never got any more colors. I can understand wanting a cool color (I've wanted the red Wii and before it, the black something fierce, as well as the midnight blue DSiXL) but it's not going to prohibit me from buying this kickass piece of hardware. The myriad of N64 colors didn't seem to work too well for them, though. I remember seeing a bunch of yellow N64s or whatever at the stores that no one wanted. That's the risk you run when you have multiple colors of a console. It's something good to break out a year or so down the road (instead of a revision, I don't want them to pull a DSi -> DSiXL again), to help keeps sales up, but for launch, having a ton of colors is pretty silly.

I AM tempted to get black though. The buttons look quite nice in black, but the outside blue is great. I would love a site where you could pay fifty bucks more to get it painted just the way you want it. Nintendo would be smart to do that.

He is so dumb. xd It's hilarious.

Reminds me why I don't venture out of the Cult. I'm sure if he is/was on Gaia he is a VGD reg that is trying to cling to any negative thing about the hottest console to hit the market since the NES.

Lol yeah he is ******** stupid. He also told me the Dsi was s**t and then he got ahold of mine and wouldn't let it go cause he loved it lol. This kind of s**t is part of why hes my ex.

I haven't really played any Megaman, but I honestly might buy a 3DS just for Phoenix vs. Layton. However, Japan doesn't have a release date for PvL, and we haven't even gotten a confirmation of the game coming out here (although I'd be shocked if it didn't). I'd buy a 3DS for the game, but if the game isn't going to be out for a year+ then it seems kind of silly to buy a 3DS on Day 1.

So yeah, when I say 'no interesting titles' I'm talking more about the list of launch games.

Megaman Legends 3 is hardly a megaman game. It's an RPG 3rd person shooter, with a lot of exploration, and really confusing dungeons and oh-so little guidance.

I played the N64 port of the second one, and I got lost almost immediately.

Just got payed for one of my books. Spent the money on some more work-out friendly clothes.

Though the money I spent was really grant money, and it makes sense, since I will have PE later this semester.

1 in 4 Nintendo nerds seems annoyed at the lack of a red color.

Know what would be a really easy way to ramp up launch sales?

Extra color options for Pre-orders.

I should be working for Nintendo.
