ey? darrien? *jad thought a moment and then the name rung a bell* ey, you mean kai? *he tilted his head thoughtfully, and now his tail began to swish ever so slowly again*

"Oh, yes, him. His real name is Darrien Novaura." she remembered and hid from the door, from a Kai that was swishing his sword a bit. "What do you know of him? I-I wanna know a little bit about him, just a bit..." her hand started shaking.

"Oh, so kaen gave birth...I'm a grandma..." tears filled her eyes, but she took a deep breath and calmed herself, "What misfortune? He will be alright, right? Don't tell me he's getting hurt...?" she wanted to run in and talk to kai but stopped herself. Kai was packing up his sword and sat down, touching his chest.

ey, so... that's who you're, ey? *jad smiled and stepped foreward, taking her hand and kissing it in a bow* it's an even greater pleasure to meet you... and no worries... i've got two squads that'll be around to protect this place... kai's like a brother to me, ey?

She felt embarrassed and just bowed, stretching her dress to the sides in a very lady-like manner, "I'm glad Darrien has a family here. I have to ask you for a favor, don't tell him about me. I don't exist." Kai walked to the door with his sword. Daisy saw him and didn't waste time in turning into a red cat and running away.
Kai opened the door and with a big smile ran to jad and hugged him, "Jad!! You're okay? You got hurt really--why are you outside?" he looked around, feeling a strange aura there.

alright... *jad said as she jumped away, and then turned to kai as he hugged* EY! easy now... i'm still injured! *jad winced, but had a smile on his face, and then popped kai on the head* ey, what're you up to?

"Oh, cleaning the sword. I have to keep it ready just in case the dark angel comes for me," he started to unbuttoned the top of his shirt, "He attacked me and something strange started happening..." he showed the part of his chest where his heart was, now a black colored, "and it hurts too...Kaen thinks it's a bad wound...I haven't told her I got attacked and I think I swallowed some darkness."

"Got that? Uh....yeah, a black spot. I was planning on training now, maybe you can train with--" a loud crying sound was heard as Kai took out the little speaker, "No, Acher, not now....Sorry gotta go..." he buttoned his shirt and ran back inside and upstairs.

Ukiel stood in front of the Inn. He looked like a prince again, but his eyes seemed dead. For the last couple of weeks Lou and Castro were taken away by the Elders. For the first time in a long time he felt alone, and meditating didn't help. He looked to where the barn was; Lady was there talking to the other horses. At least she was having fun.
