Sammy waved to Mai. "Bye, Mai!" She called after her, enjoying all of the ryhming goodness. Bouncing over to where Mr. Cody and Mr. Ike were, Sammy asked, "Can me come too?" Her bad grammar in some situations was rather stunning.

"Sure thing Sammy." said Ike. Celebi heard the date from Cody and happily opened up a time portal. Before anyone entered, Ike asked Cody one more question.
"Why are we going back to this date?"

Sammy grinned at both of their answers, happily poking away at Mr. Cody's arm. The child-like aura that surrounded her had become especially strong, because of the flashback.

"I want to see exactly what happened the day my friend was kidnapped," Cody started. "It's a long story. Basically my friend, Star, was kidnapped by Magma and I was knocked out. They stole my Minun and my Poochyena and escaped with Star. I need to know at least what happened. Then we can leave. I promise."
Cody realized Sammy poking at his arm and moved his arm up and tightened his grip so she was in a loose headlock. He gave her a soft noogie and laughed, "Poke at my arm? Come on. Keep poking at my arm."

"Okey...dokey!" Sammy struggled to say, a slight chuckled coming afterward. She vigorously poked at his arm, as if it was the little red button that would make the world turn into a happy place. She chuckled and continued to poke, focusing on her target.

Ike thought to himself ...even if we don't change anything in the past, seeing something we missed before could also have effects in the future, beyond the present...
"Alright, lets go." said Ike, stepping through the time portal. If anything, it would be fun to see all the hype of the Green Cloud... if it had happened yet. Ike couldn't remember.

Sammy gulped timidly. This had been the first time she had time traveled, and she was afraid of what it would be like. "...To the past?" Sammy felt like something in that area needed to be said before they left, just for dramatic effect.

Cody laughed at her response. Suddenly everything went Sepia and a yellow aura surrounded Sammy. Was this the awakening of Cody's ability to sense other people's aura and even work with his own? Maybe Sammy was bringing things out of him not even he knew about? No matter what was happening, he liked her aura. It was definatly a good thing. Things quickly returned to their normal color as he blinked. "Woah..."
After realizing the portal had already opened and Ike was gone, he released Sammy and stepped through. The group appeared in what looked like the outskirts of Lavaridge. He saw the famous volcano, Mt. Chimney, that towered above them to the north and what looked to be a Pokemon Center and and Gym up ahead. "Can we look for something really fast? I need to find a Growlithe before we continue," Cody said to Ike.

Sammy blinked as she looked up at Mr. Cody. Because he had her in a chokehold, he looked upside-down to Sammy. "You okay?" She asked, turning her head to the side, but still not stopping the poking.

"Hmm... catching pokemon in the past..." Ike thought over it. "I'm not too sure now that I think about it. What if that pokemon is going to be caught by a different trainer? We shouldn't." said Ike, however much he wanted to do some training as well. It felt weird to be in spring suddenly.

Sammy yawned at this point, feeling a bit tired. She could last a little longer, though. "Wow... I wonder where everyone from the team is at right now?" She thought aloud.
