aye, i see... *a slight hurt look came to jad as he walked over, and placed a hand on kai's shoulder* ey, it's alright... *his words sounded heavy, and tired*

The bang woke Kaen with a start and made Acher start crying. "Hush, little one, hush," she cooed as she picked him up and rocked him slowly, looking towards the door. When he quieted, she set him back down and watched until he fell asleep again, which didn't take long.
Quickly, she got dressed and left the room, taking the baby monitor with her. "What's going on?" she called, seeing the front door open as she practically ran down the stairs.

"I guess I have to get rid of her...him...it's not a good sight." he moved his hand and the corpse slowly moved to the side, "I'll make a hole for it...I can't stand why Ghost wants to kill me. It's not like I'm of any importance." he watched as the body was out of sight, his eyes turned white to follow it until he could find a place to burry it.
From the shadows the dark angel looked at its prey. A smile across his face as he felt the heart of the prey go empty. A place he could feel with darkness.

He looked back at Kaen, his eyes white, and pointing in the direction the corpse of the dragon went, "I had to kill one of the dragons that Ghost send...and he didn't die immediately so I...." he looked down, feeling horrible.

"A....dragon? Ghost's using dragons now?" Her voice contained more shock than anger. She walked over to Kai and put her arms around his shoulders, trying to comfort him. She didn't look down at the blood on the ground, but could smell it. "Kai, it's alright...."

Kai hugged her tight, hiding his face with hers, "She's hunting them in the mountains...she sells them to the demons...she trained some to hunt me...." he heard jad's voice and he looked up, a bit confused, "Yeah, she has been hunting me for a while. Why?" he didn't let kaen go.

Kaen bit her lip and stroked Kai's hair, looking towards Jad. "Why are you going to be her target now? What are you going to do?" she asked, not releasing her hold on Kai. Hunting dragons....I hope she doesn't find Yoseph.... she thought, waiting for Jad's answer.

"That explains a lot. Aki is the only one that knos the exact location of the dragons...you better be careful. The dragons might come after you too..." he sighed and let go of kaen, "I better burry the dragon now...be careful with aki. she likes traps a lot more than facing you." he walked to the direction where he led the body, disappearing later.
From the side of the Muffin a woman neko was looking at kai, her hair was red and for some reason the eyes were the same as kai's childlike in form. She saw kai moving away and disappeared, maybe behind him. She wasn't going to do anything. She just wanted to look at her son.

"Be careful, love," she whispered as he walked out of sight, one ear tilted down in worry. She strained her eyes, hoping to watch him the entire way to where he was going, but lost sight of him in the trees.
"Jad, you need to be careful also," she said, looking back at him. "This world is going crazy and taking us all with it..." She looked towards the forest once more, then turned and went inside, pausing at the door. She heard Acher fussing over the baby monitor and she smiled at the small bit of normality and walked up the stairs.

River stumbled a little blinking away the foggy feeling in her eyes as her vision blurred then focused. "Wow, " She stated rather softly as her feet carried her away from the mirror she just stumbled out of. " What a ride." She murmured to herself holding her head with her hands a soft sigh leaving her lips for the better of things. " Tomokazu? Silent?" River questioned taking her slow steps to the bar in a baffled manner. " Tomokazu? Are you around cat boy? Is anyone around anymore..." River sighed taking in the memories that flooded her head just moments ago. The old times; when Kaia was around when- when she had nothing to hate nothing to fear for. How she wished to go back in time and fix that horrible, horrible mistake that made her so hateful. " No, I think not." She muttered sadly letting her onyx eyes fold over many lines and shapes hitting the coffee pot with curious wonder before moving to make herself a pot.

Aki stood outside of the Muffin, her pink dress moving in the air. Her hair now was light brown and it moved like waves in the ocean. She hid her golden eyes with glasses, still sared to show she wasn't human in those areas. She looked at her watch and looked inside the Muffin. For some reason she couldn't go in. She watched from outside as Kai prepared something to eat and a woman neko stared behind some seats, holding a necklace that Aki recognized as a magic concealer.
