Takasugi and Kamui teamed up with their respective factions = overpowered
I wish I could erase my memory of it and have a note nearby saying to watch GinTama from the beginning again. Although I'm sure if I watched it again I'd still laugh at all the same jokes I suppose so there would be no need.
Well, there's a reason why Takasugi was 4th in the popularity poll and Kamui 7th, despite both of them having less screen time than... pretty much everyone else in the cast. (I really want to see Gintoki + Takasugi + Katsura + Sakamoto all fighting together though, they keep flashing back to that but they never go into depth about it...)
Personally, I find Yorozuya + Shinsengumi team ups more entertaining, if only because there's more hilarity involved. The Kyuubei Arc, Wii Parody mini arc, and Hedoro's Family + Bathhouse episode = big lol.
Lies, Madao and Gintoki are obviously the ultimate characters in anime/manga history. Madao was so helpful during the 4 emperors arc, with his super cardboard armor. "Leave these lowlives to us"
Shinpachi: -watchs madao get stomped on and beaten up as he's rolled up in a ball and getting ghetto stomped- "YOU'RE THE LOW LIFE"
Not sure if it was low life but it was hillarious either way.
