She wandered through the forest. It was beginning to get late, but she knew she couldn't be far from the place now. She was following the directions the old man had given to her when she'd inquired about Grandpa's old mask.
She could begin to see the lights of academy in the clearing. She quickened her pace, readjusting the bag in her back as she walked. A few moments later and she was at the edge of the clearing, looking at the area before her. There a patch leading from the forest up to a rather large building.
This must be it, she though, as she readjusted the bag once again. She was getting nervous about the whole thing. She wasn't sure that these people could help her at all, or even if they'd allow her to stay long enough to find out.
She took a deep breath, walked up to the door, hesitated a moment, and then knocked.
After another moment or so, no one had answered, and she tried the door. It opened with ease and she slowly entered the building, being extra cautious as she wasn't certain what she'd find on the other side.
The room she walked into was large, and somewhat empty. There was some furniture, but no person in sight. She could however hear voices coming from the room to the south, and she wandered slowly towards the sound.

"I was going to make supper for everyone because we went to Town today and got lots of supplies but no one was around so I just kind of...stoppped."

((^_^;; Don't worry, we all make mistakes. It just takes a better person to admit they were wrong and fix their error.))
"Well, would you mind if I get some for myself? I'm starving. Been two days with just one sandwich and a bottle of...liquid."
He honestly didn't want the girl to think we was a drunkard or something, so he left out the part about what the liquid really was, even though it was only one bottle. He did hear a slight noise out in the Main room though.
"Hello?"

She misstepped and made a bit of a noise as her foot fell hard on the floor. A few seconds later she heard a male voice call out 'hello' from the room she had almost reached.
She quickly, and nervously walked to the room and cautiously peeked into the room

"No...let me make something fresh...it looks like someone just got here anyways. It won't take too long." Nami brightened up a bit, having something to do. Neko had gone to teach Fen something, so she'd ask about the scroll later.
Just as she was re-heating the woks, and heading towards the cupboard, she paused, turning her head briefly, her eyes seemed slightly darker, a purpleish tint around the edges. "Do you guys keep sake in the Academy. It's been a long while since I've had the opportunity to enjoy sake and good food."

"...We had a ban on alcohol awhile back, but...if you don't tell anyone...I can give you some from a stash I have."
Tutsumi sighed softly and then smiled, looking towards the newest young blood. He nodded slowly waved.
"Why, hello there. You seem slightly, lost?"

She smiled sheepishly, and stepped into the room, blushing a bit. "I think I'm in the right place, I just don't know exactly who I'm looking for. An old man in Barton sent me over here after I asked about a mask I was looking for information on."
She didn't venture in much further than the door. She'd never been good at meeting new people.

-=Neko made his way through the back door, just in time to hear Tut offer some Alcohol to Nami. He stopped in mid-step, his head through the door, and his hand still on the doorknob as he let that just sit there and register in his mind a couple of times, his eyes fixated on a knot in the floorboards for some strange reason=-

" I promise I won't tell anyone." Nami winked and then turned back to the pantry as Tutsumi greeted the new arrival. Finally, with arms loaded from both fridge and storage, she headed for the counter, using her Hyuuga grace and agility to advantage. It only took a few minutes to prepare everything. She tossed various things into the different pans and turned her back to wait for the maybe five minutes, it would take for everythign to cook through.

Fenris was just laying a couch in the main room, listening to the conversations and she read. She yawned softly , enjoying her book quite a lt. This one was on a ninja who was hated by his whole village and the people used chakra and jutsu's to fight stuff... hey wait!!

Nami caught sight of Neko and the expression on his face. "Don't be mad at him." She said quickly. "I asked. I didn't know there was a ban. I'm just used to having some with my meals sometimes..."

"Yeah, gimme just a minute."
She moved away from the wall a bit, so she could pull the bag from her shoulders. She dug around for a minute or so in the bag and finally found the mask, which she'd wrapped in a small blanket. She set her bag down and carefully unwrapped the mask, and held it up for the man to see. It was the one she had found in her grandparent's attic years ago. It was offwhite, discolored from age, with markings on the face. It's shape was distinctly canine in nature.
