 Oh, being a prefect would be so cool... Just so everyone knows I shall soon be able to get on much more often. I am graduating on May 30th and shall not be starting college until I have the money to pay for classes which means YAY MORE GAIA TIME... ahem... So yeah. Hopefully I will be able to balance bumping and my art shop and my guilds better. I feel like I have been neglecting you guys... Also, I will do some of these for people, I likes them and it was fun to make... <----And it's a good thing that I'm only 5'4" because Scottie is like 5'9" and I would not like being taller than him hee hee

We won the House Cup? eek biggrin YAY! *dances* razz
That means I can FINALLY start posting the points I've been keeping track of since January towards the new term (Jan-June)!
I, uh, I have some news... sweatdrop Okay, I've been a moderator Prefect since December. I never formally announced it because I wasn't supposed to until the House Cup was awarded. If you ever checked the guild homepage where mods are listed, or the Hogwarts Houses thread where members' status' are listed, you'd have noticed without an announcement.
Anyway, because none of the HoHs besides LHH host contests or issue points, and she's not going to be active anymore, she wants someone else to be Head of Ravenclaw.
She asked me because she said that she always thought I should've been a Ravenclaw, and because I'm the most active Prefect. I won about 85-90 points for my topics/posts/contest entries alone, and the 50 points I got for Special Services to the School is what put Gryffindor over the top to win.
I was very flattered that she asked me, of course. However, I wasn't sure if Ravenclaw would resent having a Head that came from a different House. Plus, even though I do honestly love all of the Houses, I was always proud to be a Gryffindor. Anyway, after thinking it over, I realised that no other Prefects are as active as me, so me being HoH would probably be best for the guild. I thought that I should do what's best for The Haven, so I accepted. I hope that none of you think I'm a traitor to Gryffindor, and I hope that none of the Ravenclaws will be offended that LHH asked me instead of them.
I promise to be a fair Head of House with issuing points when I see great threads/posts, and when I host contests. LHH will still run Accio Funds and issue the prizes for the contests that I host. I’m actually putting up a Mother’s Day Contest, so look out for it! smile

So Min, does that mean you are leaving us? crying Well I wish you luck in Ravenclaw and check in often!! And of course you aren't a Gryff traitor! I mean, you'll always be a true Gryff at heart. A Gryffinclaw or a Ravendor... Well whatever you want to call yourself!

Min, I shall miss you dearly here in the common room! But congrats on the promotion and such! And this is so awesome! I think that Super is the last prefect we got, 'cept Min... wow... I have missed so much in my long school-caused absence... it feels so good to be back here...

I agree. I sort of got busy and this is the first time I've really been back to the guild. I'm always going to the RP before this guild.
Yeah, she is.! I wonder who will get the new position. And hmm.. I wonder if we'd have to fill out an application or something. razz Blehh!
So how are you Mia, since you seem to be the only one besides me here? Hehe. Oh and by the way, I LOVE your posting style!

I had the stomach flu and was forced to go. razz I was with the doctor for 10 minutes, yet it took me 2 hours to get seen. It was quite a boring morning.

Oh my! I've missed quite a bit...
Congratulations of winning the Cup Gryffies! You all did a fabulous job in winning, I say you because really I've been inactive and had little to no influence in the matter. I apologize for that...
@Aquajade: I know how you feel, I hope everything's alright.
@Mia: I'm glad to see you'll be on more often! I on the other hand have no clue when my schedule may clear up. I'm coming up on my finals, track is still in full swing (7-1 I'm on a roll), summer gym, summer assignments for AP classes, and my horses and shows! I get stressed just thinking about it.
@Min: Aw, Min! We'll miss you, and I am confident that you will use you're new found power to help the guild as a whole. We'll miss you, that's for sure.
In general...
I've always found it hard myself to fulfill my Prefect duties. Since the Mod's rightfully thought I was too young being 14, to make me an actual mod. So I've always been kinda...out of the loop. People tend to ask me questions about events that I've never even heard of, hehe.
So I hope the new Prefect can and will most definitely do a better job then I have.

Anyway, I've been very busy the past two weeks with OAT's (Ohio Achievement Tests) which dictate the skill level of classes. Plus now i have track every night, three meets a week, practice on all the other nights. It get difficult to really...have a life. Haha, being number one seated is quite annoying, even though I love every minute of it.
Today was probably the worst track day ever. Yesterday at school we had our annual Fitness Fundraiser to raise money, and blow off steam after two weeks of testing. In team tug-o-war, I got the skin on my right hand ripped off...a lot of it. And of course today I had a discus Invitational. Boy let me tell you it was fun to throw with half or most of your skin raw and fleshy bandaged up. I won...but it still hurt... sweatdrop Anyway I'm off to a party! Sorry for the memoir...haha. I hope your all doing well!
